The FBI’s year-long investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server uncovered 14,900 emails and documents from her time as secretary of state that had not been disclosed by her attorneys, and a federal judge on Monday pressed the State Department to begin releasing emails sooner than mid-October as it planned.

WHSV-TV reported Thursday Sadie Elledge, 18, served a man and a woman two gyros, sodas and a Greek salad at Jess’ Lunch in Harrisonburg. Elledge said that she felt uncomfortable serving the pair because they wouldn’t talk to her and only would “nod their heads.”

The woman signed the receipt and didn’t leave a tip, which the station reported isn’t uncommon for the restaurant workers. However, what she wrote in the tip spot is what has caused an uproar.

The receipt read: “We only tip citizens.”

(If the service is so bad you don't want to give a tip you should talk to the manager. Don't just blame the waitress. In this case these people were totally wrong by not leaving a tip and writing the comment on the receipt.

In most states the data that are used to determine who won an election are processed by networked, computerized devices. There are almost no locations that exclusively use paper ballots. Some states allow direct from home voting over the internet. Others employ electronic voting machines that produce no paper trail, therefore there is nothing to count or recount and no way to ensure that what a voter intended is what was recorded and transmitted.

Some systems produce a paper ballot of record, but that paper is kept only for a recount; votes are recorded by a machine such as an optical scanner and then stored as electronic digits. The counting of the paper ballots of record is exceedingly rare and is almost never done for verification in the absence of a recount demand.

The verification systems in place in most states can check only two things well.

First, they can provide a basis for comparing the number of people who showed up and were allowed to vote at a location with the voter total reported at the end of the day by that precinct. Thats the piece of paper you many see posted on the door where you vote.


Second, they can compare the total votes for a candidate reported by each precinct to the state capital against the number that the capital says it received from each location.

The ways to hack the election are straightforward and are like the computer system attacks that you hear about every day in the private sector and on government networks in the U.S. and elsewhere. Malware can be implanted on voting machines. Almost none of these machines have any kind of malware detection software like those used at major corporations and government agencies. Even if they did, many of those cybersecurity tools are regularly defeated by today’s sophisticated hackers.

It could happen. There is nothing to stop it from happening in many parts of the country, and there is not even an effort to see if it is happening.

Two black teenagers accused of killing a good Samaritan


Two teenagers are accused of fatally shooting a man who stopped to help them get a vehicle out of a ditch late Monday in North Charleston.

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Chadwick Garrett, a 45-year-old North Charleston resident. He died around 11:35 p.m. at the scene near Durant Avenue and North Jimtown Drive.

Deon Antonio Frasier, 17, and Michael Odell Anthony Dupree-Tyler, 19 — both of the Reserve at Ashley River Apartments, 6520 Dorchester Road — face murder charges in connection with the shooting. Frasier is also charged with possession of a firearm during a violent crime.

A magistrate judge could not set bail on the charges at a bond hearing Tuesday night.

Arrest affidavits state that around 11 p.m. Monday, Garrett agreed to help the teens pull a 2016 Dodge Durango out of a ditch for $20. A witness, who is not named in the documents, told North Charleston police that after he removed the vehicle from the ditch and inquired about the money owed, Frasier pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots.

There was another incident in this state that was similar. A man picked up a person walking along the road that needed a ride. He gave him a ride then was murdered for no reason.

In SC you can carry a concealed weapon. I think this is important to do.

Paisano’s owner Rick Camuglia said he emblazoned the phrase on the restaurant's main sign to sell a new recipe: a tuna dish with black olive tapenade.

Camuglia posted pictures of the dish and the sign on Facebook, drawing complaints he was being insensitive and trivializing a movement aimed at trying to stop police shootings of black residents.

Camuglia insisted he was not trying to stir racial tensions and was only trying to sell food.

He said that people from all over the world has called his restaurant to show him support.

He said that he put the slogan on hats and T-shirts because people who supported the restaurant wanted to by a souvenir of sorts from the restaurant.

Camuglia also told the station that business is booming.

Christian NFL player Benjamin Watson has opened up about his views on abortion and how it factors into race relations in America today.

In an hour-long interview for the San Diego-based Turning Point Pregnancy Resource Center's blog interview series, Watson, a devout Christian who often speaks out publicly on a wide range of racial and political issues, answered questions on whether race plays into the abortion debate, whether men should have any say over whether women get an abortion, and why he is pro-life.

In the second part of the interview, Watson gave great detail on how race factors into the issue of abortion. He pointed out that the abortion agenda seems to be focused primarily on minorities and how the nation's largest abortion business was founded by Margaret Sanger, who has often been accused of being a racist and a eugenicist.

"I do know that blacks kind of represent a large portion of the abortions, and I do know that honestly the whole idea with Planned Parenthood and Sanger in the past was to exterminate blacks, and it's kind of ironic that it's working," Watson said. "We [as minorities] support candidates, and overwhelmingly support the idea of having Planned Parenthood and the like, and yet, that is why she created it."

"We are buying it hook, line, and sinker, like it's a great thing. It's just amazing to me and abortion saddens me, period. But it seems to be something that is really pushed on minorities and provided to minorities especially as something that they should do," Watson asserted. "In the public, it seems to be painted that when minorities get pregnant they need to get abortions, especially when it comes to teen pregnancy.

"We sit here and talk about advancing the black agenda, whatever that means, we talk about our interests, and what's important to us — like having political power and advancement and all those things — and then we are turning around and we are killing our children," Watson said. "And we are buying the lie that it's our personal decision to make."

"[A] lot of the women wouldn't be having abortions if the men would step up and be a part of what they are already biologically a part of. Raising children and having children, even though the women birthed the child, is designed for two people to do it," Watson stated. "And there is so much undue stress and pressure on the woman if the other one isn't there."

Watson argued that a fault in the process is that many men would rather have abortion be a "women's issue" so that they don't have to "step up and make a decision."

"Any idea that a man doesn't have a role in it is not true, and is simply more about politics and making a man's life easier," Watson stressed. "If you are going to say, 'It's your choice' and she decides on an abortion, then at least be man enough to go with her through the entire process. You should have to sit with her through the entire procedure (and recovery) if you are going to go that route."

Watson, a 12-year veteran tight end who is beginning a new chapter in his career this season with the Baltimore Ravens, recalled a time where he has had to talk to a one of his NFL teammates whose girlfriends was facing an unplanned pregnancy.

"His girlfriend was pregnant and he had that look like, 'I don't know what to do' and I know that abortion may have very well been a possibility, although we didn't discuss it specifically," Watson explained. "My whole speech to him was encouraging him about what an awesome opportunity it is to raise a child, to give the child a home, to love that child, and that God entrusted him with another life, and what a responsibility and the privilege that is."

A local man is making history in a big way.

94-year-old Doctor Harlan Van Over has held many titles in his life. And now, he can add being a sixth degree black belt to that list.

He's the oldest person to test for this level and he says he isn't stopping anytime soon.

Doctor Harlan Van Over is also breaking records. Van Over is now one of about 200 people to achieve the honor of a sixth degree black belt, and he's definitely the oldest to reach this milestone.

"My mind says one thing, but my body says who do you think your talking to," Van Over said.

"I've looked death in the face many times so I don't worry about it," Van Over said.

He is also a World War II veteran.

As a bombardier for the Airforce he was shot down three times over Germany, and lives to tell the tale. He tells 14 News what he learned in the military, carries over to his training.

"You have to have a positive attitude and you have to always try to do the best you can," Van Over said.

The most ominous sign of possible things to come appeared on March 16, 2012, when President Obama signed executive order 13603about “National Defense Resources Preparedness.”

This 10-page document is a blueprint for a federal takeover of the economy that would dwarf the looming Obamacare takeover of the health insurance business. Specifically, Obama’s plan involves seizing control of:

* “All commodities and products that are capable of being ingested by either human beings or animals”

* “All forms of energy”

* “All forms of civil transportation”

* “All usable water from all sources”

* “Health resources – drugs, biological products, medical devices, materials, facilities, health supplies, services and equipment”

* Forced labor ( or “induction” as the executive order delicately refers to military conscription)

Moreover, federal officials would “issue regulations to prioritize and allocate resources.”

Each government bureaucracy “shall act as necessary and appropriate.”

To be sure, much of this language has appeared in national security executive orders that previous presidents have issued periodically since the beginning of the Cold War.

But more than previous national security executive orders, Obama’s 13603 seems to describe a potentially totalitarian regime obsessed with control over everything. Obama’s executive order makes no effort to justify the destruction of liberty, no effort to explain how amassing totalitarian control would enable government to deal effectively with cyber sabotage, suicide bombings, chemical warfare, nuclear missiles or other possible threats.

It’s quite likely there would be greater difficulty responding to threats, since totalitarian regimes suffer from economic chaos, colossal waste, massive corruption and bureaucratic infighting that are inevitable consequences of extreme centralization. Such problems plagued fascist Italy, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, communist China and other regimes. Totalitarian control would probably trigger resistance movements and underground networks like those that developed in Western Europe during the Nazi occupation.

Totalitarian control could provoke more political turmoil than there was in the Vietnam War era of the 1960s. There would probably be a serious brain drain as talented people with critical skills escaped to freedom wherever that might be. Canada?

There’s nothing in executive order 13603 about upholding the Constitution or protecting civil liberties.

In what circumstances, one might ask, would a president try to carry out this audacious plan?

Executive order 13603 says with ominous ambiguity: during “the full spectrum of emergencies.”

Well, the United States is already in a state of national emergency declared by President George W. Bush on September 14, 2001 and extended last year by President Obama.
