Bird poop facials for the first lady?

The New York Times Is Full of Poop

A bird poop facial procedure features UV-disinfected nightingale poop air-lifted from Japan and mixed with rice bran to hide its smell.
The $180 treatment is said to make skin look radiant. Good thing because it would feel pretty silly if you let a stranger smear bird excrement on your face and it didn’t work.

The Obama regime is hiding the Benghazi survivors, dispersing them around the country, AND changing their names.
.................

GOP Rep: Obama WH Is Hiding Benghazi Survivors AND CHANGING THEIR NAMES:

SC Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) was on with Greta Van Susteren Thursday to discuss the Obama scandals.

This came after Jake Tapper at CNN broke the news that there were “dozens” of CIA operatives on the ground in Benghazi on 9-11 when the consulate came under attack and the agency is going to great lengths to make sure whatever it was doing, remains a secret.

Rep Gowdy told Greta the Obama Administration is hiding the survivors, dispersing them around the country, AND changing their names.

“Including changing names, creating aliases. Stop and think what things are most calculated to get at the truth? Talk to people with first-hand knowledge. What creates the appearance and perhaps the reality of a cover-up? Not letting us talk with people who have the most amount of information, dispersing them around the country and changing their names.”

And, at the same time Obama is hiding the survivors around the country he’s calling Benghazi a ‘phony’ scandal.

(Obama is just a criminal trying to cover his tracks. The real question should be: Why is he still in office? Why hasn't congress removed the FRAUD called obama? Obama cannot validate his US citizenship. He has only produced a forged fake PDF file he said was his birth certificate, which has been proven to be a total FRAUD/FAKE document!) Story Reports

Retirement Is Just Like Real Life: We Interrupt This Fantasy To Introduce Reality.

...................
Retirement: A Full-Time Job

A retiree Syd

Retirement Is Just Like Real Life

Aaah, retirement. No more alarm clocks, deadlines, or responsibilities. No more difficult bosses. No more performance evaluations.

Endless time to travel, to catch up on reading, to enjoy afternoon cocktails on the verandah.

If you could just get yourself to retirement, you would be free: stress-free, worry-free, and carefree.

We interrupt this fantasy to introduce reality.

Retirement is just another stage of life. Remember life? It’s that thing that has happened to you for all those years leading up to today. And here’s the thing about life—it keeps happening even in retirement.

Retirement won’t magically deliver you to a life with no problems. Retirement simply replaces one set of challenges with another set. A set that I would argue is much easier to live with, but as challenges tend to be, still challenging. Retirement is just like real life that way.

But just like real life, you can still love retirement despite its challenges. Not everyone experiences the exact same challenges, or to the same degree. For example, boredom was never really an issue for me, but I do know that it can be a big deal for some retirees. Frankly I was more bored when I was working.
(Ditto) Story Reports

But I did struggle with guilt when I first retired. Guilt for not accomplishing enough each day, guilt for not volunteering some of my newfound time, heck, guilt just for the fact that I was retired while others are off at work.

(Yah I felt some "guilt" also. Guilt for not accomplishing enough each day to take up the slack that "management" manufacutred by allowing certain employees to do little or next to nothing.) Story Reports

I also had trouble telling new acquaintances that I was retired, trouble explaining what it was I did all day; I even had trouble spending time on the things I actually wanted to spend my time on the most.

There are plenty of issues you may have to work out in retirement, guilt, boredom, laziness, and money worries, to name a few.

If you think you are only going to get the good with no bad in retirement, you are not being realistic. Yes, you’re trading in the problems of the work world: stressful days, sleepless nights, long commutes, mind-numbing meetings, limited vacation time, and a general need to hurry from here to there.

But it’s a trade-off. In retirement, you’ll have to figure out your new identity, find meaningful activities to fill your time, and work to develop some new relationships. And when you give up work, you are giving up some financial security and a built-in social life as well.

I’m not trying to be discouraging. I think the benefits of retirement far outweigh the drawbacks. But if you find yourself struggling for your footing in retirement, that just means you’re normal. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you made a huge mistake giving up that nine to five.

.................................
Comments

After reading your article it 'clicked', I was looking for things that society might define as meaningful rather then what I defined as meaningful to me. I love being outside in my gardens working alone but felt guilty that I wasn't doing something more meaningful for social good, not anymore. Thank you. The social good may come later, for now I am going to ENJOY working in my gardens and contemplating life.

(I agree. Define meaningful things to do for YOUSELF, not what "society" thinks is meaningful!) Story Reports

.................................
After about two years of searching and building my post-employment life (i.e., retirement!), I finally understand that life is about following one's passions, whatever they might be, not about living up to vague societal expectations. I used to feel the need to apologize for my 'good luck' and to justify what I did with my time. Not any more! I love my life, and as long as I follow the rules with regard to what works for me, it's all good.

.................................

Retirement for the individual is much like it is for the couple. You can run, but you can't hide. While working, it can be much easier to ignore 'issues' and pretend they don't exist. The busier the schedule, the easier it is to just buckle down and do what needs to get done. Along comes retirement and you're faced with the person in the mirror. Some people fill their retirement time with a whirlwind of activity, but in the end, you still have to come to terms with who you are and make peace with that person. To me, that's the ultimate opportunity and challenge of retirement.

................................

I think just as some people struggle with boredom during retirement while others do not, some people struggle with the word 'passion.' How do people find their passion when they just feel... Well, content? Contentment is undervalued and misunderstood in my opinion. Nothing wrong with it. But as humans there is an allure to living with the struggle. If we can get passed that, we can sink in and learn to appreciate our circumstances even more. Starts with feeling worthy as individuals, I beleieve. If we feel our life has value, regardless of whether we are saving the planet or changing the world, then we can learn to 'just be.' At least, this is the topic I've been exploring since I retired a year and a half ago. Thanks for being a beacon in the distance for those of us who are finding our way.

................................

I retired in December. Some days, I get absolutely nothing done. I don't even try! I have been feeling terrible about this, but maybe it is just part of the adjustment process. I mean, how slothful can I really be if I retired early w/o a pension?

I do notice that when I have something I Must Do, the energy is there. Last week, I worked four 18+ hour days completing my MIL's Estate Sale. Then I came home and slept the better part of two days. Thanks for holding a light up and showing me there is hope.

................................

I'm two weeks into my early retirement/sabbatical/new career, and I'm struggling with feelings of guilt at being so unproductive! And yet a friend reminded me that I'm genetically incapable of being truly unproductive. Not that productivity should even matter, but old habits die hard.

Thank you for reminding me that every life stage contains challenges to handle. Luckily, my challenges now are so much more pleasant than the ones I dealt with when I had a day job!

(Ditto) Story Reports

...............................

I guess when we're working, we're so used to performing to our employer's expectations that it's hard to shift to stop living to others' expectations even in retirement.

No matter where you go you're always there or no matter where you go you're there.

Don't suffer from that ailment of making life harder than it needs to be.

Getting nothing done some days is part of life, feeling terrible about it is just part of the adjustment process, like you said. There will come a time when you learn to stop feeling terrible about it and just realize you're doing what you need to do right now. You've earned it!

............................

We have to carve out a new identity in retirement. I am 10 months in now and still working on that. That vague feeling of anxiety that came from not having to get up early and rush into work is less frequent now so I know I am settling in.

And being retired is busy and amazing and getting more so as I settle in.

...........................
Advice to new retirees to “Go with the flow but make sure that flow isn't down the drain of self esteem. Don’t think that you can, or have to figure it all out ahead of time. You will become a different person in retirement more than you ever imagined, but the amazing thing is that the person you become will be pretty much up to you.”

...........................
Tt almost unanimous that people do not miss working, it is almost as unanimous that folks missed some of the day-to-day "relationships" of the workplace as well as “the camaraderie,” or just interaction with familiar people.

...........................

(Yah I did earn it. Some people think they deserve retirement. You don't deserve it if you didn't earn it. I know of people who scam the system and don't deserve retirement. This is the norm for many people. Scam the system. I worked and earned my retirement. Those who didn't earn their retirement are the ones that should feel guilty but I know they don't. They were just "working bums" who scammed the system.) Story Reports

Obamacare centralized Data Hub will provide web-based, one-stop shopping for prying into people’s personal affairs

Move over NSA, here comes the Obamacare database

James S. Robbins

Would you trust thousands of low-level Federal bureaucrats and contractors with one-touch access to your private financial and medical information? Under Obamacare you won’t have any choice.

As the Obamacare train-wreck begins to gather steam, there is increasing concern in Congress over something called the Federal Data Services Hub. The Data Hub is a comprehensive database of personal information being established by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to implement the federally facilitated health insurance exchanges. The purpose of the Data Hub, according to a June 2013 Government Accountability Office (GAO) report, is to provide “electronic, near real-time access to federal data” and “access to state and third party data sources needed to verify consumer-eligibility information.” In these days of secret domestic surveillance by the intelligence community, rogue IRS officials and state tax agencies using private information for political purposes, and police electronically logging every license plate that passes by, the idea of the centralized Data Hub is making lawmakers and citizens nervous.

They certainly should be; the potential for abuse is enormous. The massive, centralized database will include comprehensive personal information such as income and financial data, family size, citizenship and immigration status, incarceration status, social security numbers, and private health information. It will compile dossiers based on information obtained from the IRS, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, the Veterans Administration, the Office of Personnel Management, the Social Security Administration, state Medicaid databases, and for some reason the Peace Corps. The Data Hub will provide web-based, one-stop shopping for prying into people’s personal affairs.

Move over NSA, here comes the Obamacare Big Brother database

......................

(The criminal/traitor obama regime will use the obamacare database to spy on Americans for purposes of intimidation. The criminal obama will use this information to pervert "government" even more. America is becoming more of a police state every day. Thank you again to the IDIOTS who voted for obama.) Story Reports

National Database of Your Personal Information

The federal Hub will gather all the private data together into a very detailed profile of the individual and the family. At any given moment this personal data from the state and the federal government and “other entities” (like your health plan) can be cross-referenced, linked and compiled. This includes your medical, employment, family and tax data.

Harry Butler should not have spent a year in prison for trying to defend the US Constitution but he did.

Defending the US Constitution the Hard Way
.............

Harry Butler should not have spent a year in prison for trying to defend the US Constitution
.............
Brad Thor

“I would like my story to be known so that what happened to me will not happen to another veteran standing by his oath to protect the US Constitution.”

Harry Butler (in an email to the author)

Harry Butler is not someone that you have heard of, but you will. You do not know the story of his arrest by federal agents, but you should. He should not have spent a year in prison for trying to defend the US Constitution, but he did.

Harry and I go way back—in the early 1970s we served together in the same Underwater Demolition (UDT-21) platoon, and later served together in SEAL 2 (in different platoons).

After leaving the service Harry went on to fly as a Captain for Gulfstream Aerospace. I could name-drop here like you would not believe (sultans, former presidents, movie stars, etc.), suffice it to say that Harry has flown VIPs all over the world, and acquired a rock solid reputation for dependability and trustworthiness along the way.

So how does a former SEAL and world-class pilot end up being grabbed by federal agents and locked away for a year? Good question. I will try to answer it in this article. (The prisons that Harry spent time in were “in the middle of nowhere” with few inmates. He has described them as looking brand new—“mostly vacant and eerie; possibly FEMA camps”).

I have known about Harry’s experiences for a while now, but I have been reluctant to draw attention to them because of his less than good health, and the fact that he has already paid a pretty steep price for attempting to defend the US Constitution. When I say that Harry is not in the best of health that’s the truth of it, but you might want to take that with a grain of salt. He informs me that when the Secret Service showed up to arrest him (at a hospital) “it took 12 agents, security guards, and hospital aides half-an-hour to subdue me—they were just lucky they caught this old, sick, clapped out SEAL on a bad day.”

Recently Harry called into a radio talk show that featured Mike Zullo as a guest, and spilled the beans, so to speak. That being the case, I told Harry that probably the most prudent thing for him to do at this point would be to disseminate his story as widely and quickly as he can—and that is why I am writing this article now. (As many of you know, Mike Zullo is the lead investigator for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s (Joe Arpaio) Cold Case Posse which has been investigating Obama’s birth certificate(s).

I won’t be going into Harry’s case in any depth in this article. My main concern at this time is to raise public awareness about him, and what he has gone through—and why. The “what” is harassment and intimidation by the US federal government, including being locked away in a cell for a year. The “why” is because he attempted to defend and uphold the US Constitution, as he, and I, and millions of others have solemnly sworn we would do.

Specifically, Harry challenged Obama’s legitimacy to be POTUS, and he did this before Obama was sworn in as President for the first time in 2008.
The controversy surrounding Obama’s “birth certificate(s)” has been covered widely and in depth, so I will not delve into it here. Suffice it to say that behind all of the obfuscation and ridicule thrown into the face of “we the people” by The Powers That Be, Obama’s constitutional right to be POTUS remains shaky at best, and his past continues to be “a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.” Who is this guy? I mean really.

“We the people” continue to be told to “move along, folks, nothing to see here” by pundits and puppets, fools and frauds, but few folks are buying the lies anymore…except for those in on the fix, the willfully blind, and “low information voters” (a trendy euphemism for the clueless, apathetic, and indoctrinated).

Who is behind Obama’s phenomenal rise to power? Answers run the gamut from NWO heavy hitters to big banking cartels; from mega-corporation syndicates to communist and/or fascist conspiracies…. Harry believes that the Saudi Arabians have been deeply involved. I’m no expert on Middle Eastern affairs, but Harry knows the area well, so I believe him. Those billions and billions of petro dollars can and have purchased a lot.

Speaking of Saudi Arabians…If you wish to get a quick, painless lesson on the inner workings of, and collusion between, the Federal Reserve and Saudi Arabia, then you will be hard pressed to do better than read “Hidden Order” by Brad Thor (currently selling very well). It is a prime example of the saying “a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down.” Thor manages to deftly mix in hard to swallow truths with a rip-roaring yarn. Do you want to know what’s really going on? Read the book.

In any event, let me return to Harry’s story as I wrap this up. Please keep an eye out for details and particulars of his story in the future—at Canada Free Press and other venues. I promise you that you will not find it boring. He has been through the wringer for a good cause and deserves every patriotic American’s support. I will end with a quote from Harry.

I have come to the conclusion that the rule of law in the US has been trumped by the tentacles of corruption. Just how we get out of this mess is a good question, but I feel that it is doable. Remember Congress cannot, and will not, fix the problem. The fix will require other methods.
..........................

(This is just another example of the CORRUPT government that is controlled by the current regime in power. Obama can't validate his US citizenship and Harry Butler tried to reveal this before obama was elected in 2008. Obama is a CRIMINAL FRAUD and should be arrested for TREASON.) Story Reports

FBI records: agents found no evidence that Zimmerman was racist

After interviewing nearly three dozen people in the George Zimmerman murder case, the FBI found no evidence that racial bias was a motivating factor in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, records released Thursday show.

Even the lead detective in the case, Sanford Det. Chris Serino, told agents that he thought Zimmerman profiled Trayvon because of his attire and the circumstances — but not his race.

he Duval County State Attorney released another collection of evidence in the Zimmerman murder case Thursday, including reports from FBI agents who investigated whether any racial bias was involved in Trayvon’s Feb. 26 killing.

The evidence includes bank surveillance videos from the day of the killing, crime scene photos and memos from prosecutors.

Among the documents is a note from the prosecutor who said one of the witnesses said her son, a minor, had felt pressured by investigators to say the injured man he saw was wearing a red top. The boy’s testimony had been considered key, because it backed up Zimmerman’s allegation that he — wearing red — was being pummeled.

Federal agents interviewed Zimmerman’s neighbors and co-workers, but none said Zimmerman had expressed racial animus at any time prior to the Feb. 26 shooting of Martin, a black teen, in a confrontation at a Sanford housing complex. As Sanford police investigated the circumstances of Martin’s death, the FBI opened a parallel probe to determine if Martin’s civil rights had been violated.

Several co-workers said they had never seen Zimmerman display any prejudice or racial bias.

Two co-workers told agents they spoke with Zimmerman the day after the shooting, and both said they noticed injuries to Zimmerman’s nose and the back of his head. One person said Zimmerman was “absolutely devastated.”

Zimmerman told both colleagues that he followed Martin — whom Zimmerman described as a “suspicious person” — so he could tell police where the teen went, but was then “jumped” by Martin. Zimmerman told both that Martin reached for Zimmerman’s gun before Zimmerman shot Martin.

...................
(If the obama run FBI could not find any evidence that racial bias was a motivating factor in the shooting of Trayvon Martin when the FBI is a corrupt obama regime operation that is amazing. Citizen Home Self Defense

.................
.................

Defense of home and family is one of the first and foremost reasons why weapons of almost every sort, certainly including hand-held firearms, were invented in the first place. Almost any gun you can think of performs this primary function well, but some are a little better suited to the job than others.

As a home defense gun, a properly set up AR-15 is easier to shoot accurately and delivers more firepower than a handgun, is more precise than a shotgun, more controllable than a subgun, and is easily configured with lights, lasers and other accessories to give you further advantages over any uninvited guests who may come calling after visiting hours.

There are those who cite a certain “intimidation factor” as an additional benefit of an AR over a handgun, especially an AR equipped with a laser sighting device. Those people watch too much television. As a general rule, anybody who is dumb enough to get caught stumbling around somebody else’s house in the dark can not be counted on to have brains enough to distinguish an AR-15 from an economy-size can of spray-on insect repellent, or to tell the difference between a trembling laser beam and a spinning disco ball. Even if your personal perp is smarter and more mentally alert than that, the fact remains that, while nobody has ever been killed by a well placed shot of intimidation, relying on squishy psychological threats instead of bullets has often had a fatal effect on the naive practitioner.

A laser sight may enhance your ability to aim in low light, as tritium inserts in your iron sights definitely will. Unmagnified red-dot sights can be useful with practice. Unless you are completely suicidal, please remember to detach any long-range scope you might have on your AR before you even think about putting it in a place where somebody might be tempted to use it to defend your home from an invader lurking a few feet away. One accessory you must have on your home-defense AR is a bright white light for target identification. One of these lights mounted on your rail system can disorient and maybe even temporarily blind the bad guy but this is a secondary benefit to the primary one, which is knowing who it is (and who it is not) you’re about to shoot.

One more reminder that seems superfluous but apparently needs to be mentioned is that an AR-15 is a rifle, not a room deodorizer. Wield it from the shoulder, not the hip, use your sights, and fire one well aimed round at a time.

SAFETY ISSUES

Defending your home from robbers, thieves, invaders and assorted nut cases does not mean you have to shoot up your neighborhood. Bullets that whiz through walls almost always create more problems than they solve, and whizzing through walls is one of the things a full-metal-jacket .223 bullet does best. It’s called overpenetration, and there are various ways to alleviate it so your neighbors don’t start shooting back.

A .223 bullet that mushrooms to twice its size and skids to a halt inside the suddenly expanded chest of your uninvited guest is far preferable to one that passes out the back of his MTV T-shirt right through the framed Home-Sweet-Home embroidery hanging on the wall behind him into your grandmother’s TV set. The latter is what you can expect from military-type .223 ammo, the former is the way good hunting hollowpoints and rapidly expanding varmint loads are supposed to behave. If your bullet will transform a prairie dog into a spray of pink mist, it will do much the same to your guest’s heart and lungs without interrupting your grandmother’s favorite soap opera. Another safe bet is pre-fragmented “frangible” bullets, so fragile in construction they’re designed to break up into tiny pieces when they encounter anything harder than a wisdom tooth.

Your home may be your castle, but it’s sure not built like one. Half an inch of drywall with a not-quite 2X4 here and there just isn’t the same as twelve feet of solid stone. Even those old castles didn’t have to withstand anything more penetrating than an occasional arrow, rock or sharp stick.

Besides loading varmint bullets in your .223, another good way to defend your home is with larger-caliber bullets that are, relatively speaking, soft, fat and slow. Your grandmother will be happy to know there are many upper receivers made specifically for your AR that provide just such an ideal defense.

Handgun cartridges loaded with personal defense hollowpoints or frangibles work better in your home AR-15 than they do in your pistol. Uppers are available in 9mm, .40 Auto, .45 ACP and 10mm. Smallbore high-velocity cartridges similar to the .223 - the 6x45mm and 6mm PPC - can be used for home defense with lightweight varmint bullets. Lower-velocity rounds with heavier bullets work even better - 7.62x39 Soviet, 6.8x43 SPC, 6.5 Grendel, .300 Fireball/Whisper, and .338 Spectre. Best of all are the big-bore .458 SOCOM and .50 Beowulf, which provide plenty of “knock-down” power and limited penetration when loaded with heavy hollowpoint or softpoint bullets.

Whichever cartridge you choose, you’ll soon see why the short, handy AR-15 carbine, complete with rail-mounted light and perhaps laser and/or red dot sight, is the primary weapon-of-choice used by military units preparing for close quarters battle (CQB) and police SWAT units faced with operating in a hostile home environment. The requirements of these highly trained shooters are quite similar to your own as a home defender operating in cramped space with innocents to consider, and you can learn from their tactics as well as their equipment. The best way to learn is to go to school and practice a lot.

Obama's insider threat program turns federal workers into Secret Police

.................
Obama’s plan to predict future leakers unproven, unlikely to work
.................
In an initiative aimed at rooting out future leakers and other security violators, barack obama has ordered federal employees to report suspicious actions of their colleagues based on behavioral profiling techniques that are not scientifically proven to work, according to experts and government documents.

The techniques are a key pillar of the Insider Threat Program, an unprecedented government-wide crackdown under which millions of federal bureaucrats and contractors must watch out for “high-risk persons or behaviors” among co-workers. Those who fail to report them could face penalties, including criminal charges.
.................

Some current and former U.S. officials and experts worry that Obama’s Insider Threat Program could lead to false or retaliatory accusations across the entire government, in part because security officials are granted access to information outside their usual purview.

Current and former U.S. officials and experts also ridiculed as overly zealous and simplistic the idea of using reports of suspicious behavior to predict potential insider threats. It takes years for professional spy-hunters to learn their craft, and relying on the observations of inexperienced people could lead to baseless and discriminatory investigations, they said.

“Anyone is an amateur looking at behavior here,” said Thomas Fingar, a former State Department intelligence chief who chaired the National Intelligence Council, which prepares top-secret intelligence analyses for the president, from 2005 to 2008.

Co-workers, Fingar said, should “be attentive” to colleagues’ personal problems in order to refer them to counseling, not to report them as potential security violators. “It’s simply because they are colleagues, fellow human beings,” he said.

Eric Feldman, a former inspector general of the National Reconnaissance Office, the super-secret agency that oversees U.S. spy satellites, expressed concern that relying on workers to report colleagues’ suspicious behaviors to security officials could create “a repressive kind of culture.”

“The answer to it is not to have a Stasi-like response,” said Feldman, referring to the feared secret police of communist East Germany. “You’ve removed that firewall between employees seeking help and the threat that any employee who seeks help could be immediately retaliated against by this insider threat office.”
