Have you become a guilt slave?

Chick-fil-A CEO suggests white people shine the shoes of black people to express 'shame' over racism

Dan Cathy even gave a demonstration

Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy suggested during a church service that one way for white people to atone for racism in the United States is to shine the shoes of black people, to express their "shame."

Cathy sat down for a televised discussion at Atlanta's Passion City Church on Sunday with Pastor Louie Giglio and rapper Lecrae to engage in what the church described as "an open and honest conversation around how racism has plagued our city for generations, and the steps we can all take to confront it head-on in our church, our neighborhoods, and our hearts."

"So I invite folks to just put some words to action here," Cathy said, standing up and walking over to Lecrae with a shoe brush in hand. As he knelt down before the rapper, the CEO continued, "If we need to find somebody that needs to have their shoes shined, we just need to go right on over and shine their shoes and whether they got tennis shoes on or not, maybe they got sandals on, it really doesn't matter.

But there's a time at which we need to have, you know, some personal action here. Maybe we need to give them a hug, too." After sharing a hug, Cathy walked back to his seat as Lecrae joked, "And some stock in Chick-fil-A."

Editor Note

White people don't need to atone for  the racism of the past present or future.

Why is this do you ask?

Atonement is the concept of a person taking action to correct previous wrongdoing on their part, either through direct action to undo the consequences of that act, equivalent action to do good for others, or some other expression of feelings of remorse.

If you need to correct a previous wrongdoing on your part to a black person  if possible you should make amends to that person.

If its not possible to make amends to the person you have wronged in the past you could make amends to another black person or persons if this would make you feel better.

But it would not be making amends to the person who you harmed in some way.

Just going around shinning a black persons shoes or hugging them isn't going to make amends to the black person you harmed for some reason.

Buying them a chick fa la sandwich would be a good gesture but would it be appropriate?

If the black person you offended accepted the chick fa la sandwich and forgave you it would be appropriate.

Of course you could also buy more chick fa l sandwiches for other black people if it made you feel better as if you were making amends to the original black person you offended or harmed.

Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy is not atoning for racism, his or any other white person.

He feels the need to express  "shame" for himself and other white people in the form of shinning shoes while promoting chick fa la.

This is a prime example of what other corporations are doing and have been doing for years.

Acting like they are atoning for white people's racism while promoting their product.

I have no need for Dan Cathy to atone for something I have not done in the past.

I have no need to feel guilty for crimes that were done by others.

Shame is an unpleasant self-conscious emotion typically associated with a negative evaluation of the self; withdrawal motivations; and feelings of distress, exposure, mistrust, powerlessness, and worthlessness.

In an evaluation of myself I see a self conscious need to refute the need of other to atone for me for something I am not guilty of because of past history of slavery etc.

As an individual I deal with people on a personal basis and consider their individual actions.

My heart or my emotions are controlled by logical consideration of situations in dealing with blacks or others.

When the national social media tells me I need to shine shoes because of my guilt of others I know its not a valid reason but just another ploy to try and make me feel guilty for the sins of others and what they have done, black or white.

I am not without guilt for things I have done in the past.

People should go directly to the person that they have wronged personally and make amends.

There is no need for me to go around making amends to others I have not wronged.

The BLM, corporations along with the national media is promoting a false narrative that you and I need to atone for the sins of others through jestures like shinning shoes etc.

The BLM narrative wants to make you feel guilty for something you are not responsible for.

I will never take a knee to BLM and their false idol and narrative.

Many will be thinking like Dan Cathy that its the right thing to do to show remorse for the murder of George Floyd etc.

Remorse is a distressing emotion experienced by a person who regrets actions which they deem to be shameful, hurtful, or wrong. Remorse is closely allied to guilt and self-directed resentment.

The murder of George Floyd was wrong, shameful and distressing causing me and others to think the police officer was wrong in what he did.

THE BIG DIFFERENCE WITH ME IS MY REMORSE DID NOT INCLUDE:

GUILT OR SELF DIRCTED RESENTMENT FOR SOMETHING I WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR.

BLM and the national media wants you to feel guilty and have self directed resentment for being white.

They are using the remorse you feel to control your emotions and cause you to feel guilty for George Floyd's death.

As long as you let them control your emotions they will and you like many others will be at their mercy.

You have become their GUILT SLAVE!

A slave to your emotions based on remorse for black people being shot by police for various reasons.

Your now on the BLM plantation. Your freedom has been taken away.

Your master is BLM and the media along with people like  Dan Cathy ceo of chick fa la.

You are being manipulated and controlled via the media with a false sense of shame and guilt for something you did not do.

Think about it.

This blog could be your  Emancipation Proclamation in the form of a logical explaination of your current state of mind based on your emotions alone.

Escape from the BLM/MEDIA/CORPORATION Plantation.
