If something is deemed to have a particular quality or to do a particular thing, it is considered to have that quality or do that thing.

The house passed a version of obamacare. The senate passed a verson of obamacare. A conference committe should have been formed to make the 2 different bills acceptable to the senate and house. Then the senate and house vote on the bill again. If both house vote again and pass the bill it then is sent to the president.

The communist obama is directing the house to DEEM the house version of obmacare passed. He is telling pelosi not to vote on the bill again. Obama is telling pelosi to just DEEM the bill passed as if it had been worked out with the senate in conference.

The slaughter rule is to be used to DEEMED the house bill to have been voted on and passed after the house had agreed with the senate and changes made.

This is totally ILLEGAL and UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't DEEM a house bill passed. If this was so there would be no need to ever vote on anything.

The senate version of obamacare is supposed to be changed to agree more with the house version through a joint conference committee but the house version is to be DEEMED as changed and voted on.

The sente version of obamacare is to be passed using the nuclear option or something called reconciliation.

This also is TOTALLY ILLEGAL! Normally all bills must be passed in the senate with at least 60 votes. Obama wants to change the senate bill and pass it using just 51 votes.

You can't pass a bill using senate rules for budgets only to pass obamacare. The senate is trying to pass a bill that has not been voted onnand agreed to in the house.

Both the house and senate are trying to pass ILLEGAL obamacare bills!

Obama is acting like a dictator. Obama is acting just like hitler.

America elected obama. Obama was not "deemed" elected. Votes were counted.

If obama continues to push obamacare through the house and senate in this illegal manner and it passes obama should be removed from office as a traitor. Certain members of congress should be removed as traitors also.

The problem is there seems to be too many traitors in congress at the present time for the normal balance of powers to keep each other in check.

Obama controls 2 or the 3 parts of the government.

If obama passes his illegal obamacare it will be up to the supreme court to save the nation from obama and his fellow traitors.

Lets pray obama can be removed from office before he declares martial law because Americans are rioting in the streets when obama has passed an illegal law without a vote.

How can you deem a bill passed? Where is this in the US Constitution?

They want to pass ObamaCare without voting on it because they do not have the votes, and simply want to say that they did! It is an outrage and must be stopped or America is gone. Once they try this there is no stopping them from doing anything even more dictatorial.
