Democrats have become the party of thuggery, from the top leaders abusing President Trump as a traitor and criminal, to the Antifa black shirts beating up Trump supporters in Democrat cities. The ginned up hysteria over Trump’s election has grown with Trump’s triumphant successes with the economy and national security.

The Democrats’ motivation for the fake impeachment crisis is obvious—they have no platform and no candidate that gives them a path to the White House. What is less obvious is why three years of ugly, crude propaganda, threatened and actual violence, wearisome agitation and lies is playing so well to previously normal Democrats.

The Democrat Party has veered far left very fast, without any pushback from within the party. Their voters have turned, seemingly overnight, from normal American citizens to a deranged mob after Trump’s blood. This weird transformation is normalized by blaming it on Trump himself, and the shock of his victory.

A moment’s reflection shows how superficial that derangement explanation is.
Trump did not make the Vermont socialist Bernie Sanders a powerful political force in 2016. He is not responsible for Elizabeth Warren’s desire to confiscate people’s wealth. Trump did not cause the majority of Democrats to reject freedom of speech and religion, or to prefer socialism to capitalism. How did those radicals become so powerful that they now dominate the party leadership?

There is nothing in what Trump has done as president that explains the unconstitutional attacks against him. It is the reverse—the attempt to frame and entrap President Trump and his team as traitors with Russia, was begun by the Obama DOJ, FBI, CIA and White House before his inauguration. It was the Obama Administration’s actions that necessitated the all-out attempt to delegitimize President Trump before he could expose them.

President Trump did nothing to provoke the Obama intelligence community framing him as a Russian traitor. You have to look at President Obama to understand this unprecedented attempt to overturn a presidential election. Our press, including most of the conservative press, has always been unwilling to focus on Obama, and the Marxist forces he unleashed in American politics.

We can’t even use the word Marxist without the taint of supposed “McCarthyism.” Better to use vague terms such as “radical” or “Left,” or better still, avoid the deeper issues by calling the war against our president “derangement.”

The Mueller investigation and the phony impeachment would have been impossible without #TheResistance insisting on radical partisanship. The propaganda war against Trump hasn’t touched his loyal, grateful, voters, but it has turned normal Democrats into mindless haters.

There is nothing so terrible about President Trump that he can’t be treated fairly and rationally by the press and his opponents. Derangement is a choice. It is a strategy. It is true that President Trump often breaks norms of how politicians talk. He is rude. He does troll his opponents and purposely make them lose control. At the same time, his policies and his achievements are centrist; they would have been acceptable if a President Clinton proposed them.

Trump is obnoxious to his political opponents, but he is also warm, charming, and funny. He is loving and protective towards ordinary Americans of all colors, genders and sexual preferences, new citizens and old. He has off-the-charts common sense and patriotism, and plain speaking.

The president’s reality-based policies on energy, regulation, trade, job creation, and China have made each of us more prosperous and safer. These are not distant achievements. Trump has made the lives of ordinary people better in concrete ways that can’t be hidden by Democrat talking points, by bringing the working class and unemployed jobs, fighting crime, and controlling our southern border. And he would have done more if not for Democrat obstruction. He has done more to help the poorest Americans achieve a better life than any president in living memory.

Ordinary Democrats’ extreme hatred of Trump and his supporters is far from normal. Insisting we enforce immigration laws on the books is not the second coming of Hitler. Democrats genuinely believe it is. They talk themselves into nonsense, while Trump is gains popularity among Hispanic voters (who made up 30 percent of the audience at his rally in New Mexico). The fact that Presidents Clinton and Obama both urged securing our borders makes no difference. When Trump obeys American law, he is evil.

I asked a neighbor, a Democrat moderate, why he hated President Trump. His answer: Charlottesville.
The idea that Trump praised neo-Nazis after Charlottesville is an outright lie about what the president said. It is easily rebutted by the videos and transcripts, but—typical of the propaganda-inflamed mob—rebutting the lie makes absolutely no difference. My neighbor “knows” Republicans are racists and nothing will shake that belief.

This is a huge winning propaganda stroke for the Democrats. My neighbor actually agrees with the president’s policies on the border, on China, knows the economy is doing well, can see the country is at peace—none of that matters, he thinks Republicans are deplorable racists.

We accept Democrats despising Republicans as racist as though it were normal, but we shouldn’t. Republicans believe what every decent American believed during the Civil Rights era—that everyone should be treated equally regardless of race, period.

The Democrats’ conviction that half the country, led by Donald Trump, is white supremacist in its outlook is just plain weird. Trump was elected by winning over Midwestern voters, the salt of the earth, who had previously voted for Obama. Trump’s rhetoric on race has been unifying, not divisive, typified by his favorite phrase, “whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag.” Remember his great line in his inaugural address: “When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice. The Bible tells us, ‘How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.’”

Trump’s actions on race follow his rhetoric. Whether it is with mainstream economic opportunity zones in the inner city, or his response to the black communities desire for incarceration reform, or his economic policies which have helped minorities more than any other segment of the population, his policies show a deep commitment to helping the black community.
Yet good-hearted Democrats “know” Trump is divisive, and that it is their party which brings the country together.

The number of Democrat liberals fighting back against the libel, the hate, and hard leftists taking over over their party is miniscule. Alan Dershowitz comes to mind. I know there are a few others, but I can’t recall them at the moment.

What is going on?

“How evil is the left? This evil,” John Hinderaker wrote after the “appalling” Antifa attacks on Trump supporters and police in “nice” Minnesota. But not a single Democrat politician or media voice finds the violence appalling. Just the opposite—a Democrat legislator participated in the riot, while others, including U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), tweeted their approval.

“Are there any moderate Democrats left?” Hinderaker asked.

It’s an important question. Why aren’t Democrats fighting for their own party—and our country—against the hostile takeover by the Left?

These brazen acts of petty theft and shoplifting are a dangerous and all-too-common consequence of Proposition 47, a referendum passed five years ago that critics say effectively gives shoplifters and addicts the green light to commit crimes as long as the merchandise they steal or the drugs they take are less than $950 in value.

The decision to downgrade theft of property valued below the arbitrary figure from felony to misdemeanor, together with selective enforcement that focuses on more “serious” crimes, has resulted in thieves knowing they can brazenly shoplift and merchants knowing the police will not respond to their complaints, say critics.

"If my babies need diapers or formula, who is going to get that for me? No one. I have to do it," she said. "They ain't out here arresting people for (shoplifting) and everyone knows it."

Proposition 47 is seen by critics as one of California's biggest blunders. Supported by the state Democratic Party and championed by the American Civil Liberties Union, the referendum was passed by a wide margin in 2014. The idea behind it was to reduce certain non-violent felonies to misdemeanors in order to free up resources for cops and prosecutors to focus on violent offenders.

Senate prepared to reject a kangaroo democrate court

President Donald Trump Will Be Reelected in 2020 No Matter What Pelosi And The Democrates Do.

Senator Lindsey Graham has created a new reality for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Graham has written a powerful resolution which Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell joined in co-sponsoring. Together they have attracted 50 co-sponsors – which means with Vice President Pence supporting them they would win a vote to dismiss any phony impeachment from the House that failed to meet a key standard of fairness.

The resolution:

• “calls on the House of Representatives, prior to proceeding any further with its impeachment investigation into President Trump, to vote to initiate a formal impeachment inquiry;
• calls on the House of Representatives to provide President Trump, like every other American, with due process, to include the ability to confront his accusers, call witnesses on his behalf, and have a basic understanding of the accusations against him that would form any basis for impeachment; and
• calls on the House of Representatives to provide members of the minority with the ability to participate fully in all proceedings and have equal authority to issue subpoenas and other compulsory process.”

Faced with this new reality, Speaker Pelosi suddenly ended months of avoiding a vote on the impeachment process and announced today that the House would vote this week.

The real reason for the thursday Oct 31, 2019 is because:

Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler are hoping to achieve this by bringing in the House Judiciary Committee and the judicial enforcement authority they were just granted by Judge Howell.

They are also in a big rush to do this; hence the Thursday vote.  The rush is because the DOJ has filed a motion for stay, as they appeal the Judge Howell ruling.

As a practical matter, the House Democrats had no choice but to bring the impeachment process to a vote. They were faced with a Trump administration that refused to cooperate with a secret investigation which lacked rules and authorization by the full House.

They were also faced with a Senate that was prepared to reject a kangaroo court-style secret approach.

 

Don't be tricked by pelosi's "vote".  It is a resolution, to affirm her previous declaration of a House “inquiry”.  The resolution is currently being written by Lawfare.

Pelosi is not delivering a House “Resolution on Impeachment” for a vote, because if she did hold a vote on an impeachment resolution, the minority and the Executive branch would gain rights therein. 

Pelosi is careful to say “this is not an impeachment resolution”

There are NO plans to vote on a formal inquiry of impeachment.

Lawfare is hoping that through this Thursday vote scheme they will be able to twist the legal process into providing their House inquiry judicial enforcement authority, or punishment possible for the executive not complying with a House committee subpoena.

Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler are hoping to achieve this by bringing in the House Judiciary Committee and the judicial enforcement authority they were just granted by Judge Howell.

They are also in a big rush to do this; hence the Thursday vote.  The rush is because the DOJ has filed a motion for stay, as they appeal the Judge Howell ruling.

Remember, the Lawfare intent is to pierce the constitutional firewall that creates a distinct separation of powers; and the Legislative branch is trying to force documents from the Executive branch, overriding executive privilege.

This is a constitutional issue. This level of impeachment intent is why judicial enforcement authority (the full house authorization to grant weight to legal subpoena power) becomes much more important.

Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler and Lawfare are attempting to create “judicial enforcement authority” without having an actual and constitutional vote to authorize an official “impeachment investigation”.

That’s what this Thursday House resolution is all about.

The Thursday House resolution is intended to authorize and validate the pre-existing Pelosi “impeachment inquiry”, and then expand the authority within the rules to create the impression of a full House impeachment investigation; without actually having a House  “impeachment investigation vote”…. because that would open-up rights to the minority and rights to the executive.

The House Democrats have a clear model of a fair, systematic bipartisan approach in the rules adopted by the Democrats in 1973 and by the Republicans in 1998. Former Democratic Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Peter Rodino of New Jersey developed a bipartisan set of rules in 1973 during the Nixon impeachment proceedings.

The house democrates will totally ignore a fair bipartisan approach by not holding a real impeachment process vote, not just a phoney house resolution.

Rodino’s rules allowed the White House Counsel to be present at all hearings – including those held in secret. They also allowed the Republican minority to offer subpoenas to bring in the witnesses they wanted in addition to the witnesses the Democrats wanted.

When we were faced with an impeachment process in 1998, we sent a congressman to interview then-retired Chairman Rodino, and we literally adopted all of his rules.

So, there is a bipartisan precedent for a fair, orderly approach to the impeachment process.

If Speaker Pelosi offers a resolution which includes these precedents – and if her resolution answers the 10 questions Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy has written posed to her – then it is possible the impeachment process will be back on a bipartisan track.

This is never going to happen of course.


If, however, Speaker Pelosi introduces a resolution to continue the secret kangaroo court-Star Chamber-partisan approach Representative Adam Schiff has adopted, then the vote will be meaningless.

This is what the wicked witch pelosi will do on haloween Oct 31, 2019. 

In fact they will try to increase the power of their fake kangaroo court investigation.

If the House Democrats fail to heed the warning of the Graham-McConnell Resolution, they will be setting up all their efforts to be dismissed out of hand by the senators who have called on them for real reforms in the current impeachment process.


Graham and McConnell have already had a big impact in just a few days. They are now poised to judge whether the Democrats’ proposed rules represent real fairness and real bipartisanship or are simply more of the same dishonest, secretive, one-sided baloney Schiff has served up so far.

It will be very interesting to see what kind of resolution Speaker Pelosi brings forward.

Don't be confused by what the wicked witch of the house pelosi is doing.

The democrates will just vote for a resolution to increase their fake kangaroo court inquiry.

Gender reveal party blows up

An American family's gender reveal celebrations have ended in tragedy after an accidental "pipe bomb" exploded and killed a 56-year-old woman that was 45 feet away.

Iowa woman, in Rural Knoxville,   Pamela Kreimeyer died instantly after an explosion during the gender reveal announcement caused a piece of metal debris to hit her, De Moines Register reported.

Police arrived at the Knoxville home on Sunday (NZ time) to find her dead.

The woman's son used gunpowder and colorants in an iron tube mounted on a metal plate, they had created a pipe bomb. As soon as the device was lit, it exploded, shooting pieces of shrapnel in all directions.

In a statement send to De Moines Register, police said the Kreimeyer family had planned to make a fun announcement of the child's gender for social media, but instead inadvertently created a pipe bomb.

Sheriff Jason Sandholdt's office said members of the family had been experimenting with different types of explosive material.

Police said gunpowder and some coloured powder had been put inside a homemade stand which had a metal base. The idea was for that, once lit, the coloured power would blast out the top of the stand.

But instead the explosion sent shrapnel flying and Pamela Kreimeyer died after being struck in the head, De Moines Register reported.

The family had been experimenting with different types of explosive material.

In other words what they made was NO accident.

Environmentalists have turned California into a tinderbox

Liberals are blaming California's wildfires on "climate change."

Now, they believe it will go up in flames unless we do something immediately to stop "climate change." But climate change hasn't turned California into a tinderbox, the environmentalists have.

California power company PG&E is pulling the plug on its customers. PG&E has been deliberately cutting power to its customers in an effort to avoid wildfires. It isn't working. Massive wildfires erupted in areas where PG&E provides service.

PG&E's equipment couldn't start these huge wildfires without a bunch of dead brush fueling the flames.

As Chuck Devore writes in Forbes, "the outrageous cost to remove a few dead trees from private land is a consequence of California's Byzantine environmental regulatory patchwork."

It's not climate change that's responsible for these massive fires, "it's decades of environmental mismanagement that has created a tinderbox of unharvested timber, dead trees, and thick underbrush."

Devore writes, "forest management is so bad on public lands that a new report, ordered by the California legislature in 2010, shows that the portion of California's National Forests protected from timber harvesting is now a net contributor to atmospheric carbon dioxide due to fires and trees killed by insects and disease."

While you have probably seen graphs of the atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration slowly increasing over time, the graph above shows the yearly growth RATE, as well as the estimated yearly rate of emissions by humanity. It shows a couple of interesting things.

First, the growth rate of atmospheric CO₂ is, on average, only about 50% of what mankind emits. This means that Mother Nature takes out about 50% of the ‘excess’ CO₂ that we pump into the atmosphere every year.

And it seem like it doesn’t matter how much MORE we put in each year…nature still takes out an average of 50% of that amount.

So if environmentalists really believed climate change was causing the fires, they would be calling for more timber harvesting to stop it.


How many people have to die before environmentalists wake up?

Gov. Gavin Newsom has attributed California's wildfires to the effects of "climate change." But in 2018, President Trump correctly identified the problem and threatened to cut off federal funds if California didn't change its self-harming policies.

Trump tweeted, "There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor. Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!"

What contributed to the severity of recent CA fires is the state’s decades long mismanagement of the woodlands. No burn-offs, overgrown fire breaks, no debrushing.

One problem increasing the size of the acreage burned is that california stopped logging the public forests. Stopped removing dead trees. Stopped putting in logging roads that acted as barriers and allowed better access into the forest and  stopped fires.

Fire has benefits in that it clears the brush on the forest floor which removes some of the fuel needed to let a fire grow.

FBI misconduct probe is now a criminal investigation

U.S. Attorney John Durham's ongoing probe into potential FBI and Justice Department misconduct in the run-up to the 2016 election through the spring of 2017 has transitioned into a full-fledged criminal investigation, two sources familiar with the investigation told Fox News on Thursday night 10/24/19.

One source added that DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz's upcoming report on alleged FBI surveillance abuses against the Trump campaign will shed light on why Durham's probe has become a criminal inquiry.

Horowitz announced on Thursday his report would be available to the public soon, with "few" redactions.

The investigation's new status means Durham can subpoena witnesses, file charges, and impanel fact-finding grand juries.

Fox News reported on Tuesday that Durham's probe had expanded significantly based on new evidence uncovered during a recent trip to Rome with Attorney General Bill Barr.

Sources told Fox News that Durham was "very interested" to question former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former CIA Director John Brennan, an anti-Trump critic who recently dismissed the idea.

The New York Times reported Thursday that Durham's criminal review has prompted some CIA officials to obtain criminal legal counsel in anticipation of being interviewed.

 Brennan and Clapper were at the helm not only when Mifsud spoke to Papadopoulos, but also when an unverified and largely discredited dossier, written by British ex-spy Christopher Steele and funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee, was used to help justify a secret surveillance warrant against former Trump adviser Carter Page in the run-up to the 2016 election.

The FBI apparently obscured the fact that the Clinton campaign and DNC funded the dossier in its warrant application, telling the secret court only that the dossier was prepared at the behest of an unidentified presidential campaign.

Also on Thursday, top Republicans revealed never-before-seen texts from fired FBI agent Peter Strzok, in which he apparently discussed systemic leaking at the bureau.

Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, revealed the texts in a letter to the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) requesting an update on whether the FBI's apparent leaks to the media were being probed.


The senators pushed to know whether the ICIG was looking into Strzok's email to FBI colleagues on April 13, 2017, when he wrote that an unidentified "agency" might be the "source of some of the leaks" to the media that he'd been seeing.

House Oversight Chairman Elijah Cummings’s wife has funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars from her charity to her private for-profit organization, according to a previously undisclosed cost-sharing arrangement that multiple experts said raises red flags.

Maya Rockeymoore Cummings’s charity, the Center for Global Policy Solutions (CGPS), paid her for-profit venture, Global Policy Solutions LLC, over $250,000 in “management fees” between 2013 and 2015, according to the charity’s audited financial statements covering those years. The management fees were paid in addition to a cost-sharing agreement where the charity pays for its share of equipment, personnel and other expenditures.

Rockeymoore Cummings’s charity is funded by companies with interests before her husband’s congressional committee.

“It’s self-dealing. It’s taking the charity’s resources and turning them into personal profits,” National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) investigator Tom Anderson told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “IRS law doesn’t allow a charity for this purpose.

Corruption: New IRS emails released by a congressional panel show staff working for the Democratic ranking member communicated with the IRS multiple times in 2012 and 2013 about a voter-fraud prevention group.

Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., said on CNN's "State of the Union" last year, "Based upon everything I've seen, the case is solved. And if it were me, I would wrap this case up and move on, to be frank with you."

Of course he wanted to move on, for he had been working hand in glove with the IRS to target conservative groups and wanted the fact to remain a secret.

On Feb. 6, in a subcommittee hearing that heard the testimony of Catherine Engelbrecht — founder of True the Vote, who was targeted by the IRS, FBI and other federal agencies — Cummings vehemently denied having any contact or coordination in targeting True the Vote.

Responding, attorney Cleta Mitchell, who is representing True the Vote, indicated that staff on the committee had been involved in communication with the IRS. In short, Cummings was not telling the truth.

After the hearing, Engelbrecht filed a formal ethics complaint accusing the Maryland Democrat of trying to intimidate her by causing the targeting.

Cummings on three separate occasions had sent letters with his title on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee stating that he had concerns and that True the Vote should be investigated.

Emails released by House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, a California Republican, show that Cummings' Democratic staff had requested information from the IRS' tax-exempt division, the one headed by Lois Lerner, on True the Vote, a conservative group that monitors polling places for voter fraud and supports the use of voter IDs, something Cummings opposes. "The IRS and the Oversight Minority made numerous requests for virtually identical information from True the Vote, raising concerns that the IRS improperly shared protected taxpayer information with Rep. Cummings' staff," the Oversight panel said in a statement.

According to Issa, Cummings and his staff sought "copies of all training materials used for volunteers, affiliates or other entities" from True the Vote.

Five days later, the group received an almost identical request from the IRS for (1) "a copy of (True the Vote's) volunteer registration form," (2) "the process you use to assign volunteers," (3) "how you keep your volunteers in teams" and (4) "how your volunteers are deployed ... following the training they receive by you."

As Townhall.com reports, the first contact between the IRS and Cummings' staffers about True the Vote happened in August 2012.

On Jan. 25, 2013, Cummings' staff asked for more information from the IRS about the group.

Three days after that, Lerner wrote an email to her deputy, Holly Paz, asking, "Did we find anything?"

Paz responded by saying not yet, to which Lerner replied, "Thanks, check tomorrow please."

On Jan. 31, Paz sent True the Vote's 990 forms to Cummings' staff.

"Although you have previously denied that your staff made inquiries to the IRS about conservative organization True the Vote that may have led to additional agency scrutiny, communication records between your staff and IRS officials — which you did not disclose to majority members or staff — indicates otherwise," states a letter to Cummings from Issa and five other subcommittee chairmen.

After Engelbrecht formed her group and sought tax-exempt status, she and her family, which previously had no contact with any government agency of any kind, were buried by an alphabet soup of government harassers, including the ATF, OSHA and the IRS that Cummings was coordinating with.

"This is what the beginning of tyranny looks like," Engelbrecht told Breitbart.com.

Indeed it is. Elijah Cummings has a lot of explaining to do.

 House Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) released a report implicating Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) in colluding with the IRS and Lois Lerner against the nonpartisan voters rights group “True the Vote.”

• On or before January 25, 2013, Cummings’ staff requested more information from the IRS about True the Vote.  The head of the IRS Legislative Affairs office e-mailed several IRS officials, including former Exempt Organizations Director Lois Lerner, that “House Oversight Committee Minority staff” sought information about True the Vote.  On Monday, January 28, Lerner wrote to her deputy Holly Paz: “Did we find anything?”  When Paz informed her minutes later that she had not heard back about True the Vote’s information, Lerner replied: “thanks – check tomorrow please.”

• On January 31, 2013, Paz attached True the Vote’s form 990s, which she authorized the IRS to share with the Minority staff.  Neither Cummings nor the IRS shared these requested documents with the Oversight Majority.  None of the Minority’s communications about True the Vote with the IRS were shared with the Committee Majority even though Ranking Member Cummings frequently complains about the Committee Majority contacting individuals on official matters without the involvement of Minority staff.

Cummings denied that his staff, “might have been involved in putting True the Vote on the radar screen of some of these Federal agencies” at a February 6, 2014, Subcommittee hearing:

Maya Rockeymoore Cummings is not willing to reveal the financial documents for her non profit group the Center for Global Policy Solutions.

And the most concerning part about that is that many of the groups and people that have given donations have business before the committee her husband chairs.

At least three different groups have requested the forms, and to each, Rockeymoore Cummings has refused, even when told that the law requires it. 

“Wow. That’s illegal,” Sally Wagenmaker, a Chicago attorney who specializes in nonprofit tax law, told TheDCNF. “It’s interesting and sad. You have the right to get them. The organization absolutely is required to provide the information, so to not do so would appear to be flaunting the law.”

“As a family member of an elected official, we’d expect high-road, integrity and compliance. If anyone should be responding promptly, it should be her. He should be above approach.”

The National and Legal Policy Center (NLPC) filed the complaint on May 20, noting that a charity and a for-profit consulting group run by Maya Rockeymoore Cummings have each received millions of dollars over the years from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. This foundation, created by the founder of Johnson & Johnson, is not officially affiliated with the pharmaceutical giant, but the two hold close ties. The foundation is a major shareholder in Johnson & Johnson, for example.

It does not take a Sherlock Holmes to spot the reasons to fear political corruption may be at play here. Elijah Cummings chairs a committee that is investigating the high prices of pharmaceutical drugs.

Johnson & Johnson has been hit by a rash of lawsuits over allegations that it was a major player in exacerbating the opioid epidemic that has ravaged America. The company reported in April that its first-quarter earnings for 2019 had fallen by 14% in large part due to the high legal costs involved in battling these suits. It can use all the friends in high places it can find.


“When a powerful chairman of a committee of the House of Representatives has a wife that is bringing in money from entities with interests before his Committee and she is not providing the transparency mandated by the IRS, there’s a serious problem,” Tom Anderson, director of the NLPC, told the Washington Examiner. “The potential for corruption in this situation is simply off the charts and can’t be understated.”

A look into examples of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s financial largesse to Mrs. Cummings’ organizations does nothing to dim suspicion. Her charity and for-profit business have received $5.2 million and $5.5 million respectively, from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

In Sept. 2016, the foundation announced it was awarding a $1.5 million grant to the nonprofit run by Rockeymoore Cummings, The Center For Global Policy Solutions, and its Allies for Reaching Community Health Equity program.

The Examiner reported that  Rockeymoore Cummings’ consulting firm received a $1 million federal General Services Administration grant in 2017 for a “Leadership for Healthy Communities” project to fight childhood obesity. As this grant was awarded, her nonprofit group claims to have “served as the national program office for Leadership for Healthy Communities.”

The IRS complaint filing states that this highlights how both the consulting business and nonprofit organization “appear to operate almost as a single entity, allowing for an illegal private benefit for Maya Rockeymoore Cummings and her husband.”

“The circumstances of this anti-obesity campaign prompt the question of whether its organizers are getting fat off the grants,” the NLRC acidly wrote in its filing.

 Rockeymoore Cummings declares on her nonprofit’s website that the center “equips leaders and organizations with the tools to effect change, driving society toward inclusion.” This hazy undertaking apparently takes multiple millions of Big Pharma-tied funding to achieve.

Meanwhile, her husband just so happens to chair a powerful congressional committee that has government oversight of the pharmaceutical industry. Some would find this alarming. For denizens of the Swamp, however, it’s just another day at the office.

What is Artificial Intelligence?

The concept of what defines AI has changed over time, but at the core there has always been the idea of building machines which are capable of thinking like humans.

After all, human beings have proven uniquely capable of interpreting the world around us and using the information we pick up to effect change. If we want to build machines to help us to this more efficiently, then it makes sense to use ourselves as a blueprint!

AI, then, can be thought of as simulating the capacity for abstract, creative, deductive thought – and particularly the ability to learn – using the digital, binary logic of computers.

Research and development work in AI is split between two branches. One is labelled “applied AI” which uses these principles of simulating human thought to carry out one specific task.

The other is known as “generalised AI” – which seeks to develop machine intelligences that can turn their hands to any task, much like a person.


In a comment, Elon Musk wrote: "The pace of progress in artificial intelligence (I'm not referring to narrow AI) is incredibly fast. Unless you have direct exposure to groups like Deepmind, you have no idea how fast—it is growing at a pace close to exponential. The risk of something seriously dangerous happening is in the five-year timeframe. 10 years at most.”

Elon Must is wanting to interface your brain with a AI.  He is working on a project to interface your brain with AI.

It's the AI applications that play a critical role in ensuring safety that we all should be concerned about. For example, if AI is responsible for ensuring the operation of our power grid and our worst fears are realized, and the system goes rogue or gets hacked by an enemy, it could result in massive harm.

How can artificial intelligence be dangerous?

While we haven’t achieved super-intelligent machines yet, its only a matter of time,  the legal, political, societal, financial and regulatory issues are so complex and wide-reaching that it’s necessary to take a look at them now so we are prepared to safely operate among them when the time comes.

Outside of preparing for a future with super-intelligent machines now, artificial intelligence can already pose dangers in its current form.


Aside from being concerned that autonomous weapons might gain a “mind of their own,” a more imminent concern is the dangers autonomous weapons might have with an individual or government that doesn’t value human life.

Once deployed, they will likely be difficult to dismantle or combat.



Social manipulation

Social media through its autonomous-powered algorithms is very effective at target marketing.

They know who we are, what we like and are incredibly good at surmising what we think.

Investigations are still underway to determine the fault of Cambridge Analytica and others associated with the firm who used the data from 50 million Facebook users to try to sway the outcome of the 2016 U.S. presidential election and the U.K.'s Brexit referendum, but if the accusations are correct, it illustrates AI's power for social manipulation.

By spreading propaganda to individuals identified through algorithms and personal data, AI can target them and spread whatever information they like, in whatever format they will find most convincing—fact or fiction.

What are the biggest companys that use algorithms and personal data to manipulate information in the form of FAKE news etc? There are two big ones and most people use them.

I use duckduckgo.com  because they don't track your every move.

I do think they might play with the search results a little like the big guys.


Invasion of privacy and social grading

It is now possible to track and analyze an individual's every move online as well as when they are going about their daily business. Cameras are nearly everywhere, and facial recognition algorithms know who you are.

 In fact, this is the type of information that is going to power China's social credit system that is expected to give every one of its 1.4 billion citizens a personal score based on how they behave—things such as do they jaywalk, do they smoke in non-smoking areas and how much time they spend playing video games.

When Big Brother, the deep state, is watching you and then making decisions based on that intel, it’s not only an invasion of privacy it can quickly turn to social oppression.

Social oppression is now a reality and will play a big part in future election outcomes.

Ukraine had already reopened probe of Hunter Biden-linked firm months before Trump phone call

A newly unearthed document shows that Ukrainian officials had opened a new probe into the firm linked to Hunter Biden months before President Trump's phone call with that country's leader, Fox News contributor John Solomon reported late Tuesday 10/8/19.

Solomon said Tuesday on the Hannity show  that the U.S. government knew Ukraine was planning to look again into activities at Burisma Holdings, an energy company that employed then-Vice President Joe Biden's son as a member of its board of directors, early this year.

The report is noteworthy because President Trump has been accused by Democrats of threatening in July to withhold foreign aid to Ukraine unless its new president pursued an investigation into the company and the younger Biden's role there.

"The U.S. government had open-source intelligence and was aware as early as February of 2019 that the Ukrainian government was planning to reopen the Burisma investigation," he claimed. "This is long before the president ever imagined having a call with President Zelensky," he added, noting Petro Poroshenko was still Ukraine's president at that time.

This is a significant shift in the factual timeline.

Solomon said the information he obtained, including documents shown on "Hannity" Tuesday, was omitted from a U.S. intelligence community whistleblower's complaint lodged against Trump last month.


Since the initial story broke, presidential candidate joe biden  has sought to play down allegations made by Trump against his 49-year-old son's role with Burisma.

The Democrat also faced criticism from Trump and his allies after a video resurfaced showing the ex-vice president appearing to brag about pressuring to get a Ukrainian prosecutor fired. That prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, also had been looking into Burisma.

Thursday night on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin talked about how the Republican-controlled Senate should respond if the Democrat-controlled House votes to impeach President Donald Trump.
While the Constitution itself doesn’t require the Senate to take up an impeachment case, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said that the Senate would have to take up an impeachment case sent over from the House due to one of the upper chamber’s rules:

It’s a Senate rule related to impeachment, which would take 67 votes to change. So I would have no choice but to take it up. How long you are on it is a whole different matter, but I would have no choice but to take it up based on a Senate rule on impeachment.

Levin responded that the Senate should respond to this rule as it has to others in the past: Go nuclear.
The “nuclear option,” as it has become known, is when the Senate votes on a precedent to get around its own rules.

It has been used in the past to lower the thresholds for the confirmation of federal and Supreme Court judges and merely requires that that a majority of senators overrule the parliamentarian’s interpretation of a Senate rule.

And that, the host argued, is what the chamber should do to decline to take up an impeachment case if Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and House Democrats are successful in impeaching the president over the whistleblower controversy.

“The Senate must not allow itself to be the plaything of Pelosi and the House Democrats, who are violating every rule” of the impeachment process, Levin said.

“And only the Senate has the power to police what House Democrats are doing. No other body. No court, not the executive branch, only the Senate,” the host continued. “That’s why the Senate has such a prominent role in this process.”

But under these circumstances, Levin explained, the Senate must defend the Constitution, the office of the presidency, and itself from the Democrats’ partisan impeachment effort, “or it will destroy its own reputation as an institution.”

Undetected loopholes have apparently made it possible for such covert operations to frequently take place in the nation’s capital for decades, according to Schweizer,“Lawmakers and government officials are required to disclose information about their financial dealings but not those of their extended families, and Schweizer argues China has tried to exploit that provision.” 

Using political positioning to line their pockets has apparently become an art in the nation’s capital for decades. Current ethics laws create a zero-accountability zone for the Washington, D.C., political class.

They go about their deceptive business operations in a round-about kind of way as a safeguard to job security – in order to ensure scandal-free transactions.

“Rather than risk their careers taking bribes for potentially minuscule rewards, Schweizer points out how today’s politicians are savvier, engaging in what he calls ‘corruption by proxy,’” the New York Post noted.

 “While politicians and their spouses are often subject to rigid regulations on what gifts they can accept and what sort of business they can conduct, others around them – like their friends or children have no such obstacles.

So, while a politician could theoretically wind up in prison for accepting $10,000 for doling out favors, establishing overseas connections that could land your children multi-million-dollar deals is harder to detect, and often legal.”

Personal gain has evidently been the name of the game when it comes to foreign affairs on Capitol Hill for some time.

Will Romney vote with the democrats if the nuclear option is activated in the Semate?

My best guess is Yes they will.
