Attention Ebola! (Note the sign.)

..........
Tom Parry (Ebola in africa)
..........
Tom Parry reports from the Ebola front line, where the World Health Organisation admits the death toll of 1,145 “underestimates the magnitude of the outbreak”

The World Health Organisation admitted that the official death toll of 1,145 in the region “vastly underestimates the magnitude of the outbreak”.

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control said Ebola started with fever, muscle aches, weakness, headaches and sore throat.

The next stage is often characterised by vomiting, diarrhoea, rash and malfunction of the liver and kidneys.

Worst of all, some patients have severe internal and external bleeding and multiple organ failure.

Survival rates are less than 40%, and there is no vaccine or treatment, although a trial is underway in Liberia.

That is why the capital Monrovia is currently gripped by paranoia and suspicion over the spread of the disease.

Throughout Monrovia there are huge advertising hoardings warning people of the dangers.

Yet in the filthy slums, many seem to be going about their Sunday afternoon business as normal.

Torrential rain fell all day, turning the shanty town tracks into a putrid quagmire.

It must be the ideal breeding ground for a virus so contagious a quick touch on the arm from a sufferer is apparently enough to spread it.

By the time you know you should have been more careful, it might already be too late.

Parasitic Plants Use DNA Communication

Evil Talking Plants Use DNA Communication
........
Scientists have discovered what seems like a new form of plant communication between a "vampire" plant and its prey.

As described in a study recently published in the journal Science, weed science expert Jim Westwood of Virginia Tech took a close look at how the parasitic plant called a dodder attacks his host.

Westwood specifically looked at how the dodder interacted with two host plants, Arabidopsis and tomatoes. It has long been known that dodders are "vampire-like" parasitic plants. Like a nightmare from an alien horror film, the dodder wraps itself around its host. It then uses a long probe to literally tap into its victim and drain their fluids.

This latest study expands on that, finding that a surprising amount of messenger RNA (mRNA) is constantly being exchanged between both plants during the parasitic relationship.

"The discovery of this novel form of inter-organism communication shows that this is happening a lot more than any one has previously realized," Westwood said in a recent release. "Now that we have found that they are sharing all this information, the next question is, 'What exactly are they telling each other?'"

What they found is that like any true vampire, the dodder has a "silver tongue," sweet-talking its victim into lowering its defenses.
........
........
Satan like the dodder has a "silver tongue" and he also "sweet talks his victims".
The Devil is described “like” a “roaring lion,” in reality he has no actual authority over believers. He is not really a lion, but roars “like” a lion would to bluff his victims into fear and intimidation. Satan is a liar and deceiver and uses deception as his weapon to gain advantage over those who are ignorant of the limitations of his power.

When Jesus gave his life on the cross as the sacrifice for the sins of the world, He also redeemed us from Satan’s power and dominion over us. “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it” (Col. 2:15). “...For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). Praise God! Satan is already a defeated enemy! His legal authority was neutralized by the finished work of Christ on the cross.

Witchweed
........
witchweed (creation moments.com)
........
The strange and nasty plant called witchweed is found mainly in Africa and Asia, but some has been reported in North America as well. This parasitic plant can prevent crop plants from producing yields and is said to be responsible for intensifying the results of famine in Ethiopia.

Not long after germination, witchweed sends an enzyme "feeler" through the soil around it to find nearby roots. If the enzyme finds a root system, it will digest a few of the cells on the root surface. The damaged roots actually help the witchweed by sending out a chemical response that confirms their presence to the witchweed. The witchweed then grows an attachment organ to penetrate the neighbor's root system. However, witchweed cannot penetrate many root systems. If attachment is not made within four days, the witchweed grows aimlessly and dies in less than a week.

If the witchweed successfully attaches to a neighbor's root system, witchweed can enjoy a long and full life, being fed by its neighbor's roots. In fact, witchweed changes the hormones produced by its neighbor so that the neighbor's root system grows ever larger at the expense of the stem growth of the victim. While the victim may live its normal span, it will not be allowed enough strength to reproduce.

Witchweed is no simple plant. We learn from the witchweed that the Creator's unlimited imagination not only created some very strange living things, but also created some unique solutions to providing a means of living for them.

A witchweed analogy

(Witchweed feeds off of its neighbor's roots. It actually changes the hormones produced by its neighbor so that the neighbors's root system grows larger. The victim continues to live its normal life span but it is under the control of another plant.

People like plants can come under the control of others with or without their knowledge.

Bubba I want you to think of the obama regime as "witchweed" and you are the nearby "plant". Your "thinking" was changed so you would be chained to the obama regime via the welfare state. Its not too late to "detach" yourself from the obama "witchweed"/"dodder" regime. I urge you to do so.) Story Reports

Robin Williams

Tim Conway

James chapter four…James chaper 4 perfectly describes murder, but it also describes self-murder. It’s really the same principle. Suicide is basically an expression of an individual, who wants what they want, and will murder to get what they want, even when it’s not what God wants.

The bible has examples:

Abimelech, a murder; Saul, a God rejecter; Ahithophel, a wicked conspirator; Zimri, a wicked king.

Judas was the betrayer of Christ. He committed suicide, it says, “He went and hanged himself,” Mathew 27 and verse 5. What kind of man was he? Jesus himself called him “the son of destruction”.

“Would a Christian commit suicide?”

When somebody commits suicide, it diffidently raises a question. And I know that sometimes, for the sake of hurting family, hurting friends, pastors desiring to try to, you know, not offend and not further hurt the suffering family, may try to encourage the family to believe that everything ended well with the person that’s committed suicide, who professed to be a Christian and maybe even seemed to run well at certain times in his life.

If there are these blatant expressions of unrighteousness and ending your life by murder, coming to the end of a professed Christian life and ending it with murder is suspect at best. It certainly doesn’t leave a good feeling.

Suicide is murder. Suicide is sin. Suicide is an expression of self-will. Suicide is unrighteousness. Suicide is never lawfully permitted by God. And so the one who commits suicide is ending their life not trusting the Lord. They’re ending their life in sin. They’re ending their life in unrighteousness. They’re ending their life flagrantly committing a sin of great proportion. That’s their last endeavor in this lifetime.

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

The biography of David Brainerd states when he was on his death bed, he experienced such terrible pain. He was dying of tuberculosis in the mid 1700’s at a time when they didn’t have the pain killers like we have today. He suffered excruciatingly. His suffering was so traumatic, it was so agonizing that he said the very thought of having…the very thought entering his mind that he would have to endure that pain even for another minute, he said the thought of it was enough to drive him insane. He was under such agony. But do you know what his thought was in the midst of all of it? Not, “I want to end my life.” His thought was, “God help me and hold me up and keep me from dishonoring you.” His greatest burden under that kind of agony was that he not disgrace his Lord, that he end life well.

Many people that commit suicide, believing themselves to be Christians, immediately find that they weren’t. That ending their life by such an expression of seeking their own desire, not God’s, it’s probably the final exclamation mark, a lot of times, to a life that was lived in rebellion to God.

And whether a person is saved or a person is lost, I know this. Nobody wants to end their life that way; nobody wants to end their life that way.

The person who is lost, he may think he’s saved but he’s lost, he certainly does not want to end his life that way. Because whatever pain he thinks he’s escaping, he’s stepping into horrors beyond his imagination.

Jesus Himself said hell is to be escaped at all cost. If you have to cut off hands, cut off feet, gouge out eyes, in a spiritual sense, you have to make this radical amputation of idols in this life, He said “Do it.” Whatever radical moves, however aggressive, however violent it may seem to sever yourself from your sins, you need to do it in order to escape hell.

He said it is so fearful. He described it as a hell of fire, a furnace of fire, a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth. It is a place of eternal punishment; it goes on forever. And whatever suffering is here, the Apostle Paul says, is momentary and light. Whatever is there, whatever a person is trying to escape here, it is ten thousand times worse afterwards, something Jesus said needs to be escaped, no matter what it costs you.

And so to that person who is wrestling with whether they’re even saved or not, they’re contemplating committing suicide, you do not want to commit suicide and come face to face with God Almighty in your sin, face to face with a God who takes no pleasure in your unrighteousness. You do not want to end your life in one final act of rebellion to come face to face with the God you’ve rebelled against.

If you are suffering such pain in your life that you just don’t feel like you can stand up under it, Jesus says, “Come unto me, and I will give you rest.” He calls you to find rest in Him. He says He gives help. If you call upon Him, He will give you grace to bear up.

And if you truly are a Christian but you just are in such a deep dark hole, again, even if you’re saved, you don’t want that to be the last act of your life, an act of rebellion, stepping off into eternity not finishing well, leaving behind that testimony to your family, your children, your parents, your friends that the grace of God was not sufficient to bear you up underneath those things. You don’t want to step out of life on that note.

Standing strong to the end, fighting the good fight, trusting the Lord. Jesus went before us and He suffered beyond anything we can suffer, and He’s sympathetic and He says that He’ll give us help and we can find help in Him.

So, no Christian should want to end his life in a way that is not pleasing and no lost person should want to end his life, knowing that the moment he ends it, there he is, face to face with a God who is full of wrath towards him. Better to call upon the Lord and find mercy from that God and grace to press through and fullness in Christ to fill all the emptiness in the heart.

So many people, they commit suicide just because they’re empty, they’re lonely. They haven’t…this life has just failed them. But that’s right, that’s what the Bible teaches. But Jesus never fails His people. Jesus is altogether lovely, altogether satisfying, altogether fills us with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory. Joy and satisfaction are to be found in Christ.

Don’t, don’t kill yourself. Because what you are desiring, you’re not going to get. And everything your heart craves is truly to be found in Christ. Not in death, because death isn’t non-existence. Death isn’t annihilation. Death is eternal punishment for those who reject Christ as saviour. It is weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. It is punishment for sins. It is not going to end the pain; it is only going to begin the real pain.

The Kitum cave is more recently famous for a very different sort of lifeform, a deadly virus. In 1980 and again in 1987 visitors to the cave contracted Marburg virus, a deadly virus very similar to Ebola. The cave Ebola and Marburg virus rose to notoriety when it was featured in bestseller "The Hot Zone." It is believed that the bats in the cave may carry the virus and that their powdered guano may act as the disease vector.

Visited this park in the year 2011, with a group of friends. For the adventure lovers, this is an ideal place. We toured the largest cave, Kitum. It was a bit scary at first due to the darkness and the millions of chanting bats at the entrance. But it was fun as we toured the inside chambers. Elephants visit these sites at night for salt lick, one would wonder how they make it.. but it's nature.
Security is provided so no need to worry. Got to see numerous pure springs right at their sources. A number of animals were also sighted on the way, but the highlight was the adventure in the caves.

The Hot Zone Questions

Usually on the 7th day of being exposed to Ebola, the victim develops a severe headache. After that, the victim can get abdominal pain, fever, bloody vomit, maculopapular rash, malaise, joint and muscle pain, inflammation of pharynx, coagulopathy, chest pain, dry and sore throat, hemorrhagic diathesis, diarrhia, vomiting. The incubation period is generally from 3-18 days, however it ranges from 2 to 21 days.

As soon as an individual is infected with Ebola, the virus starts making copies of itself. A headache usually develops on the 7th day after coming into contact with the virus, and from there the symptoms get worse. The victim may spike a fever, and begin to vomit uncontrollably. The victim's face becomes a yellow mask, and the eyes turn bright red. The virus is trying to transform the body into itself, the result being liquefying flesh and virus. The victim may start vomiting black vomit, which is actually a hemorrhage.

The victim's blood begins to clot, which cut off the blood supply in most parts of the body. Eventually the clotting factors become used up, and the blood becomes clotless. The victim begins to bleed from every opening in their body. The victims usually die of hypovolemic shock or organ failure.

Kitum Cave is significant because in the 1980's two visitors to the cave contracted EBOLA Marburg virus; Charles Monet and a fifteen year old boy.

A hot virus is a lethally infective virus. Examples of hot viruses include Ebola and Marburg.

One way to stop a virus is to isolate everyone with the virus and let them die out, or cure them. Another would be to vaccinate the population at risk. The third is to eliminate the vector.

Marburg Virus

Marburg was the first filiovirus discovered. The Marbug virus has similar symptoms to Ebola, but the chance of surving an infection of Marbug virus is higher.
First infected: Klaus F. He cared for the monkey in the Behring Works factory and broke with the virus on August 8, 1967 and died two weeks later.
Date discovered: During the summer of 1967

Noted outbreaks:

Marburg Germany, in a factory called Behring Works, was the first to break out with Marburg, around the summer of 1967. The factory works on producing serums and vaccines using kidney cells from African green monkeys, normally shipped in from Uganda.

Kitum Cave: Monet and Peter Cardinal died of Marburg shortly after visiting the cave.
Originated in: Sub-Saharan Africa
Incubation Period: On average- seven days.
Casultly rates: One in four.

Noted victims:

Charles Monet, a French expatriate who lived in western Kenya. He became terribly sick on Jan. 8, 1980, seven days after a visit at Kitum cave on Mount Elgon. Monet went to Nairobi Hospital for treatment. He died quickly after vomitting into Dr. Shem Musoke's face.

Musoke developed symptoms for the virus nine days after treating Monet. After diagnosis was difficult for Musoke, he went under Silverstein's care. Silverstein sent Musoke's blood serum to the National Institute of Virology in Sandringham, South Africa, and to the centers for Disease Control in Atlanta Georgia, USA. The serum tested positive for Marburg.

Peter Cardinal was a Danish boy visiting his parents in Kenya in the summer of 1987, when he dies of the Marburg virus. The army keeps a strain of Marburg named after him in its freezers, because he died of Marburg after visiting Kitum cave, like Monet.Gene Johnson had a hot zone set up there in hopes of finding the virus's host.

Other people involved:

Mr. Jones, he was an inspector for the monkeys shipped from Entebbe. He said most the monkeys weren't being killed, but sent to Lake Victoria, a focus for monkey viruses. The monkeys were trapped on the Sese islands, and were being continuessly shipped.

Gene Johnson is a civilian virus hunter working for the Army. Specialist in Ebola. In the spring of 1988, following the death of Peter Cardinal, he leads an Army expedition to Kitum Cave in Mount Elgon. He tried finding the virus host, but had no luck and ended up saving a ton of gear. "Chance favors the prepared mind" The Kitum cave equipment would later come in handy for the Ebola Reston strain that breaks out in a Reston monkey house in Virginia. He was the cheif of logistics and safety for the Reston biohazard operation.

Strains studied: Musoke, Peter Cardinal

Sisters: Ebola Zaire, Ebola Sudan, Ebola Reston

Carriers of the disease: Monkeys. The ones sent to Germany came from locations all over central Uganda. The monkeys had been shipped from Entebbe, an export facility.

Exact Source: Unknown.....(CIA)

How it is transmitted: Believed to be passed on when bodily fluid, or excretions of an infected person come in contact with another person or monkey, usually by an opening, as in eyes or mouth, or mouth cuts and intimate forms of contact.

Stopping the Spread of Ebola: 7 Facts to Know

If Ebola becomes a problem, here are some key facts you’ll need to know to reduce your chance of getting it.

1. It seems to start in animals and meat. Bats can have the virus WITHOUT getting sick. Then they infect other animals, who do usually get sick.

People kill the other animals and contract the virus while either preparing the meat or eating it poorly cooked. Then the virus starts spreading from person to person.

2. After exposure, Ebola can kick in early or late. After someone is infected, the symptoms start anywhere from two to 21 days later.

3. Ebola doesn’t spread like the flu. This is the only good thing I know about this awful disease.

Flu: You can be contagious before you get sick. Ebola: You’re not contagious until you have symptoms.

Flu: The virus can spread through fluid droplets in the air (like from a sneeze).Ebola: It’s theoretically possible for Ebola to spread this way.

4. Ebola is highly contagious. You can catch it by coming in direct contact with any bodily fluids, including blood, semen, urine, saliva, vomit, or feces.

5. The symptoms make prevention more difficult. Symptoms make it hard for caregivers not to come into contact with those bodily fluids.

There’s profuse vomiting and diarrhea. And the victim’s blood can’t clot. So you can’t stop bleeding from the smallest scrape, prick, or bruise. Sometimes people spontaneously bleed out the nose, mouth, rectum, or urethra.

6. Ebola is still contagious after symptoms stop or the victim dies. Ebola doesn’t stop being contagious with death or recovery. Victims’ dead bodies still carry the disease, and people who recover may continue to be contagious for up to two months or more.

7. There are ways to protect yourself. It’s essential to protect yourself at all times if you’re caring for someone who may have the disease so you don’t come into contact with the bodily fluids.

Basically, cover yourself in impermeable products from head to toe. Think goggles, mask, disposable gown, gloves, and shoe covers. If you’re using needles, use them once only and dispose of them immediately.

Also disinfect your environment. Clean any exposed furniture, walls, or floors with a disinfectant, like a chlorine bleach solution, before future use. This may not all be possible during a long-term disaster, but do the best you can.

(I don't think obamacare will cover this Bubba. Bubba it ain't know accident that this is happening now along with the influx of illegals being flown around the US. The obama regime will use this created crisis to further expand big government and take away your freedoms.

If you are on an airplane, train, bus or whatever and come in contact with an infected person who has ebola symptoms Bubba you can be infected also.

Profuse vomiting and diarrhea is a symptom. If the person is spontaneously bleeding out the nose, mouth, rectum, eyes, urethra and every other body orifice.
Be aware though the above symptoms can be from something else also.

So Bubba ask yourself this: How many planes are they going to quarantine when a person is sick? They can't and won't quarantine every plane because they don't know if the symptoms are because of ebola the flu or the food!

This means it has the potential to spead unrestricted in some cases. (My opinion.)

So I would suggest you don't fly Bubba.

Not only you can become infected in an isolated area like a plane but so can others on the plane. One infected ebola case on an airplane with 300 people that can become infected while flying with a person who is puking etc is a nighrmare. You can't ask the driver to stop so you sit there suspecting to get infected but it could be something else the person has that is making them sick, ie the airline meal etc.) Story Reports

This segment sets forth information indicating that the deadly Ebola virus that has emerged in Africa may be a man-made virus that was developed in Western biological warfare programs. Relying on information presented in a German television documentary and accessed in a magazine called The New African, the broadcast notes that the epidemiology of the disease makes little sense and that the institutions dealing with the disease are intimately connected to Western BW institutions. An unnamed military official is quoted as saying that a 1976 outbreak of the disease was "the first time weâve had the bug outside of the lab." (Recorded in the spring of 1996.)

Growing concerns over ‘in the air’ transmission of Ebola
By Matt McGrath
Science reporter, BBC World Service

The infection is thought to get into humans through close contact with bodily fluids

Fresh Ebola outbreak in Uganda
Little chance for ebola vaccine

Canadian scientists have shown that the deadliest form of the ebola virus could be transmitted by air between species.

In experiments, they demonstrated that the virus was transmitted from pigs to monkeys without any direct contact between them.

The researchers say they believe that limited airborne transmission might be contributing to the spread of the disease in some parts of Africa.

They are concerned that pigs might be a natural host for the lethal infection.

Ebola viruses cause fatal haemorrhagic fevers in humans and many other species of non human primates.

Details of the research were published in the journal Scientific Reports.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the infection gets into humans through close contact with the blood, secretions, organs and other bodily fluids from a number of species including chimpanzees, gorillas and forest antelope.

The fruit bat has long been considered the natural reservoir of the infection. But a growing body of experimental evidence suggests that pigs, both wild and domestic, could be a hidden source of Ebola Zaire — the most deadly form of the virus.

Now, researchers from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the country’s Public Health Agency have shown that pigs infected with this form of Ebola can pass the disease on to macaques without any direct contact between the species.

In their experiments, the pigs carrying the virus were housed in pens with the monkeys in close proximity but separated by a wire barrier. After eight days, some of the macaques were showing clinical signs typical of ebola and were euthanised.

One possibility is that the monkeys became infected by inhaling large aerosol droplets produced from the respiratory tracts of the pigs.

Pigs could act as a host and amplify the Ebola virus
One of the scientists involved is Dr Gary Kobinger from the National Microbiology Laboratory at the Public Health Agency of Canada. He told BBC News this was the most likely route of the infection.

“What we suspect is happening is large droplets — they can stay in the air, but not long, they don’t go far,” he explained.

“But they can be absorbed in the airway and this is how the infection starts, and this is what we think, because we saw a lot of evidence in the lungs of the non-human primates that the virus got in that way.”

The scientists say that their findings could explain why some pig farmers in the Philippines had antibodies in their system for the presence of a different version of the infection called Ebola Reston. The farmers had not been involved in slaughtering the pigs and had no known contact with contaminated tissues.

Dr Kobinger stresses that the transmission in the air is not similar to influenza or other infections. He points to the experience of most human outbreaks in Africa.

“The reality is that they are contained and they remain local, if it was really an airborne virus like influenza is it would spread all over the place, and that’s not happening.”

Hidden host

The authors believe that more work needs to be done to clarify the role of wild and domestic pigs in spreading the virus. There have been anecdotal accounts of pigs dying at the start of human outbreaks. Dr Kobinger believes that if pigs do play a part, it could help contain the virus.

“If they do play a role in human outbreaks it would be a very easy point to intervene” he said. “It would be easier to vaccinate pigs against Ebola than humans.”

Workers prepare to disinfect during a recent Ebola outbreak in Uganda

Other experts in the field were concerned about the idea that Ebola was susceptible to being transmitted by air even if the distance the virus could travel was limited. Dr Larry Zeitlin is the president of Mapp Biopharmaceuticals.

“It’s an impressive study that not only raises questions about the reservoir of Ebola in the wild, but more importantly elevates concerns about ebola as a public health threat,” he told BBC News. “The thought of airborne transmission is pretty frightening.”

At present, an outbreak of ebola in Uganda has killed at least two people near the capital Kampala. Last month, Uganda declared itself Ebola-free after an earlier outbreak of the disease killed at least sixteen people in the west of the country.

October 1976 ZAIRE AND ANGOLA: A CIA MILITARY ARENA

Between 1970 and 1975, the period the NAS-NCR scientific advisors informed DOD decision-makers that AIDS-like viruses could be readied,4 American cold war efforts focused on Zaire and Angola. Following the withdrawal of American forces in Vietnam, Secretary of State Henry Kissinger ordered the CIA to begin a major covert military operation against MPLA (communist bloc backed) "rebels" in Angola.

Zaire, indebted by over $4.5 billion to the International Monetary Fund, and headed by President Mobutu—paradoxically regarded as one of the world's wealthiest men with "a personal fortune put at $2,939,200,000 [1984 estimate] banked in Switzerland—was wooed by NATO allies during the 1970s (principally the U.S.) to be a staging area for CIA backed, Portuguese, French, and mainly South African mercenaries.

"American corporate investment, notably in copper and aluminum, doubled to about $50 million following a 1970 visit by Mobutu to the United States. Major investors included Chase-Manhattan, Ford, General Motors, Gulf, Shell, Union Carbide, and several other large concerns."

However, in 1975 Mobutu apparently turned against NATO allies and increased negotiations with China and Russia. He proclaimed his intention to nationalize foreign owned enterprises. In June 1975, following the CIA's thwarted efforts to convince the U.S. Congress to appropriate more funds for Mobutu and the Angola program. (A total of $31.7 million had already been "drawn from the CIA's FY 75 contingency fund" which was "exhausted on 27 November 1975"). Mobutu expelled the American ambassador and arrested many of the CIA's Zairian agents, placing some under death sentences.

The following year, in October 1976, the "Ebola Zaire virus" broke-out in "fifty five villages surrounding the [Yambuku] hospital" first killing "people who had received injections." Mobutu then ordered his army to "seal off the Bumba zone with roadblocks" and "shoot anyone trying to come out" so "no one knew what was happening, who was dying, [or] what the virus was doing."

Shortly thereafter, Ebola victim specimens were sent to the CDC, Special (meaning "secret" within the American intelligence community) Pathogens Branch; to Porton, England's controversial chemical and bio-logical weapons (CBW) laboratories;45 and teams of WHO and CDC researchers were dispatched to the Ebola region in Mobutu's private, American supplied C-130 Buffalo troop transport plant.

By the end of 1976, the Zairian leader had reconciled his differences with the American intelligence and corporate communities believing that Zaire would continue to reap his non-communist allies' social and economic aid. On April 4, 1977, Mobutu suspended diplomatic relations with Cuba; on April 21, reduced ties with the Soviet Union; and on May 2, he cut ties with East Germany.

When did people first start getting Ebola?

Ebola first appeared in 1976. There were two simultaneous outbreaks, in Nzara, Sudan, and in Yambuku in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire). The Congolese outbreak occurred in a village near the Ebola River, which is how the disease gets its name.

Fruit bats in West Africa are thought to be the natural host of the virus. Ebola was introduced into the human population through close contact with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected animals. In Africa, people have become infected through the handling of infected fruit bats, chimpanzees, gorillas, monkeys, forest antelope and porcupines found ill or dead or in the rainforest.

What's the incubation period for Ebola?

The time from infection with the virus to the onset of symptoms ranges from two to 21 days.

Ebola isn't transmitted through the air. You aren't going to get Ebola if an infected person sits next to you or sneezes in the same room. The disease is transmitted through contract with bodily fluids, such as blood. Health care workers are particularly at risk if they are not wearing appropriate protective equipment, such as masks, gowns and gloves.

The Hot Zone: A Terrifying True Story

A highly infectious, deadly virus from the central African rain forest suddenly appears in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. There is no cure. In a few days 90 percent of its victims are dead. A secret military SWAT team of soldiers and scientists is mobilized to stop the outbreak of this exotic "hot" virus. The Hot Zone tells this dramatic story, giving a hair-raising account of the
appearance of rare and lethal viruses and their "crashes" into the human race. Shocking, frightening, and impossible to ignore, The Hot Zone proves that truth really is scarier than fiction.

(Yep that's right Bubba there has been an outbreak of the ebola virus in the US. If the tell you otherwise its a lie. There are thousands of people coming into the US and none of them are being tested for diseases. They will be put into schools with your children etc.

My advice is to take your children out of school and home school them before they get a disease that has been imported via obamabola himself.)

How to use a lantern when the lights go out

OIL LAMP INFORMATION
.......
A primary light source in a “lights out” scenario should be oil lamps. They put out much more light than a mere candle and they tend to be more stable and safe.

When you fill up your oil lamp, be sure to leave at least a ½ inch of headspace. Lamp oil swells in the summer time and if you don’t leave enough leeway you’ll end up with flooding problems which can then be followed by a fire.

How Much Lamp Oil Do You Need?

How much oil do you need? As a general rule, oil lamps will burn about ½ an ounce of lamp oil per hour. For some reason they will burn a little bit more in the really cold weather—though I have no idea why. This means that a half gallon of lamp oil will last about 140-150 hours.

For optimal burning you’ll want to keep the lamp at least half full all the time--not to mention the fact that if you keep your lamps filled halfway all the time, you're not likely to run out unexpectedly. You know...learn from the 10 Virgins--keep oil in your lamps. What is the meaning of the Parable of the Ten Virgins?

One thing you need to be aware of is that lamp oils can actually freeze when you get in the 20 degree or colder range. Also, it’s best to make sure your oil is at room temperature before filling the lamp.

Purchasing wicks is very affordable. They run about 50 cents to $1 a piece and one wick will last you a long, long time with proper care. Burning through a half gallon of lamp oil will only burn down ¼ to ½ inch of your 8 inch long wick (which is the smallest size that I’ll purchase). This means that an 8- inch wick will last through about 15 gallons of lamp oil.

The key to proper wick maintenance is to be sure the wicks are always properly soaked in the lamp oil. (Never burn them dry). You’ll also want to trim the char off of the wick after each use.

To get the brightest light if you trim your wick nicely pointed. You’ll burn your oil just a bit faster that way, but really, just a bit.

Make Your Own Oil Lamp Wicks

Be sure that you only use 100% cotton.

That means instead of throwing out those t-shirts you can easily make 8-12 inch wicks that will last just as long as the commercially made ones.

Flat wicks, cut in a point at the top, will give brighter light.

Take squares of cotton fabric 12 inches long by 6 to 8 inches wide. Beginning at one end of the fabric, I fold the wide portion over and over again in a ¾ inch width each time. When I’m finished with the folds, I just put it in a sewing machine and sew down the length of the fabric once or twice to create a flat wick. (It doesn’t have to be all tight and pretty like you see in the commercially made ones; so you could conceivably sew these by hand if necessary.)

It’s important that your wicks are at least 8 inches long as 3 of your inches are going to be used for the lead space into the oil at the bottom and in the adjustment portion at the top.

Trimming the Wick

So long as I keep your wick trimmed in a pointed top, it keeps the flame bright and smoke-free so that you have less to clean with the chimney. As long as you let the wicks burn moderately and never let your wicks get dry, you’ll not have to worry about running out of them. So long as your wick is wet with the oil, the oil is actually what’s burning, not the wick. That’s why it gets shorter and shorter at such a slow pace.

Even after the flame’s been snuffed out, the chimney remains hot for as much as an hour. This is one of the reasons why I sugest purchasing oil lamps that don’t have a nice handle to use when moving the lamp. (The oil base shouldn’t get too hot, but it does get warm when used for a long time, so resist the urge to carry the lamp by the chimney or the base.)

An old-timer says that it’s best to let the chimney warm up for about 10 minutes before increasing the light output. It does make a difference.

A big flame isn’t really what you want. Not that you’ll actually measure it, but your ideal ratio of air to fuel when using your oil lamp is 94% air and 6% fuel.

Soot will build up on the chimney over time. (Keeping your flame small will prevent this from happening.) You’ll want to make sure that your chimney gets cleaned of the soot as having too much on it can actually cause a fire. Soot build-up will also lessen your light and strangle the oxygen that you need for a nice, even burn on your wick. Obviously keeping the soot cleaned on your chimney will also give you the best light output too.

You never want to use a lamp without a chimney. Doing so will cause the chimney to overheat and can pressurize the lamp base and even create an oil fire. If you see any smoke while your wick is lit then you’ve got it too high. When it comes time to extinguish your flame, just cup your hand above the chimney and give a little burst of a breath. The air will travel down the chimney and extinguish it just fine.

I strongly advise you to not take for granted just how important light is.

Planning to have a couple more lamps, than what I originally thought was necessary, makes a HUGE difference.

UPDATE: I read on the web about using olive oil in a lamp or an olive oil "candle" in a mason jar. Don't waste your time trying to use olive oil because it will only burn the wick a short time then go out.) Story Reports

In one Texas county 259 bodies of illegal immigrants have been recovered since 2012, and local advocates suspect they are only finding one out of every five casualties

'Lots of people die out here': Dr. Mike Vickers and his Texas Border Volunteers group routinely find corpses on their south Texas ranches.

'I am not surprised to find immigrants dying 70 miles north of the border,' Burgard told MailOnline, but 'I am surprised that nine years later it is still a secret to most of the American people.'

'The Federal Government has long known about this,' he said, ticking off Texas and Arizona counties where human remains are continually turning up.

'Local officials who deal with collecting the bodies are so overwhelmed financially that the cost of coroner inquests on each case is dramatically affecting their budgets.'

'We've rescued some small children, quite a few,' Vickers recalled. 'One boy, 11 years old, was left behind 8 or 9 miles off the highway. He had no idea where he was.' The border volunteers gave him water and arranged for U.S. Border Patrol agents to pick him up.

'I've seen families out in my front yard under a tree,' he said, 'with little bitty toddlers with them.'

The group of about 300 amateur patrolmen go out in teams of up to 40 armed men at a time for 4- to 5-day patrols, reporting to Border Patrol agents and Texas Rangers on where the immigrant traffic is heaviest.

In nine years of scouring south Texas, no shots have been fired.

AIDS and Ebola - Where Did They Really Come From?

This segment sets forth information indicating that the deadly Ebola virus that has emerged in Africa may be a man-made virus that was developed in Western biological warfare programs. Relying on information presented in a German television documentary and accessed in a magazine called The New African, the broadcast notes that the epidemiology of the disease makes little sense and that the institutions dealing with the disease are intimately connected to Western BW institutions. An unnamed military official is quoted as saying that a 1976 outbreak of the disease was "the first time weâve had the bug outside of the lab." (Recorded in the spring of 1996.)

Operation Choke Point forces bank to dump gun store
........

Kelly Riddell
........
A Massachusetts gun seller says it’s the latest victim of a federal multiagency task force that is squeezing financing sources for industries deemed “high-risk” by the Obama administration, such as porn stores, drug paraphernalia shops and gun merchants.

Powderhorn Outfitters, which sells firearms, archery gear and fishing equipment in Hyannis, Massachusetts, posted in an online forum this week that its longtime bank — TD Bank — had suddenly dropped its account.

“TD Bank does not support the Second Amendment and has contacted us here at the Powderhorn to say that due to our involvement in firearms sales, we as a business are no longer welcome to have an account at their bank,” the sporting goods store posted on northeastshooters.com, an online forum for shooting enthusiasts in New England states. “They classify us in the same gray area as the local weed shops sprouting up on the Cape.”

The Times reported last week of gun retailers’ complaints that the administration is bypassing Congress and is using increased scrutiny by financial regulators to choke off their lines of credit and squeeze them out of business.

Since 2011, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. has directed banks to scrutinize the risks of their merchant customers who use payment processors, such as PayPal, for credit card transactions. In addition, the Justice Department has launched “Operation Choke Point,” a credit card fraud probe ensnaring banks that do business with 24 industries deemed “high-risk” by the FDIC.

“The ‘choke point’ in this operation is the nation’s payments infrastructure, the means by which merchants process nearly $5 trillion in consumer purchases in the U.S. each year,” Jason Oxman, CEO of the Electronic Transactions Association, said in an op-ed for The Hill last month.

“Federal law enforcers are targeting merchant categories like payday lenders, ammunition and tobacco sales and telemarketers — but not merely by pursuing those merchants directly. Rather, Operation Choke Point is flooding payments companies that provide processing service to those industries with subpoenas, civil investigative demands and other burdensome and costly legal demands,” Mr. Oxman wrote.

.......
.......
The sheer evil "brilliance" of Obama’s minions never ceases to amaze me. They are tenacious in their efforts to find ways to circumvent the Constitution and our laws – they simply never give up. There is no better example of this currently than Operation Choke Point. They were caught in 2013 targeting legal industries they did not approve of by bullying banks and other financial institutions into cutting off funds to those whose activities were not ‘acceptable.’ Specifically, the gun industry:

Storefront gun dealers, online dealers and ammunition dealers are on the “high risk” list, along with porn and other salacious products (as if they’re even comparable, the Second Amendment is constitutional right, yet it’s on the DOJ hit list). DOJ argues the program is needed to stop fraud, but that’s a lie. The program is used to target politically inconvenient industries without the permission of Congress.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), at the behest of Barack Obama, has declared that gun stores are “high risk” businesses. “High risk” businesses have been, up until now, a small category of supposedly disreputable businesses, which have included pornographers, sellers of drug paraphernalia, and payday lenders.

The second step in the process is Eric Holder’s Justice Department’s “Operation Choke Point.” And its function is specifically to choke off any credit or credit card processing for businesses (now including gun owners) who fall in the “high risk” category.
