The middle light of the Menorah points to the Feast of Tabernacles.

The Menorah was God’s road map to the Christ. It laid out his birth, death, burial, resurrection, and eventual return. Christmas is the promise that God tabernacled with us on the great Feast Day of celebration.

The designs for the Menorah were given to Moses by God in Exodus 25 instructing them to make a seven stick golden candle that looked like a bush. When it was lit in the tabernacle, it would be a constant reminder of the burning bush and of his presence.   
After his resurrection, Jesus tells his disciples that everything in the Bible was actually pointing to Him. In Luke 24:27 it states:

…and beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

Christ taught that all things written by Moses, including the instruction for the Menorah, were sign pointing to His coming to earth.

God gave His people very specific instructions for hammering out a lampstand of pure gold. He goes into great detail explaining that six branches are to extend from the lampstand outward, three on each side of the center trunk.

The Menorah has seven lights which remind us that seven is the number of God - He made the world in seven days. God also set up seven feasts for His people to celebrate through the year.

The eight day Jewish Festival of Lights Hanukkah will start on Dec. 8.

The seven candles represent the seven feasts. The seven feasts each point specifically to the birth, life, death, and final resurrection of Christ.

The first candle is Passover. Passover is when God brought deliverance to His people from the bondage of Egypt by sacrificing a perfect lamb. Jesus said that He was the Passover lamb that would be sacrificed for us to be delivered from spiritual bondage. Jesus died on the cross on the actual Passover date to bring us spiritual freedom.

The second candle is Unleavened Bread. This was a feast day requiring you were to eat bread that didn’t rise while you prayed for God to “bring fruit out of the ground that you most needed” for the next day of First fruits. This festival occurred on the actual day that Jesus was in the ground. All of Jerusalem was praying that night that God would “bring out of the ground that which they most needed.” Jesus’s death and resurrection was the answer to the prayers of Unleaven Bread.

The third candle is First Fruits, which occurred three days after Passover. On this festival, God’s people were to bring to God the first thing out of the ground from the spring harvest. Jesus is called the First Fruit of resurrection. He was raised from the dead on the actual date of First Fruits because He was the “first thing out of the ground” at His resurrection.

The fourth candle points to the Feast of Pentecost. Fifty days after First fruits, Pentecost celebrated the “50 days after Passover” when Moses came down and gave God’s Word to the People. Fifty days after Jesus death, His spirit came down and gave God’s Word to the People in the Book Of Acts at the Festival of Pentecost.

The fifth Menorah candle points to the Feast of Trumpets. This was a time of blowing the Shofar. Trumpets were often used as a celebration of the returning king. Jesus said that He will one day return to earth as a king with the sounds of trumpets.

The sixth feast is the Day of Atonement. This was the day the priest went into the Holiest place and put his hands on a “scapegoat” to take the consequences of our wrong doing. You would place your hands on the goat symbolizing the blame-transfer from us to the goat. The goat would then be released into the wilderness as a symbol that you had escaped punishment.

Jesus claims to be our scapegoat and great High Priest. He goes into the presence of God, places all our wrong doing on Himself, and the curtain of the temple is torn upon his death.

Now we come to the middle candle.

This light of the Menorah points to the Feast of Tabernacles. This feast actually featured a Menorah.

It was a longing for God’s light to come and dwell (or tabernacle) among his people. God said it was to be a day of rejoicing and celebration among the people. This feast was in the fall, a time when “Shepherds are out in their fields by night.” Herod created giant 70-feet tall Menorah’s to light up the temple on this day.


Tabernacles was a celebration of God’s light coming to the world. It was celebrated with giant candles symbolic of a modern day birthday cake. It was a time when God’s people were commanded to rejoice. It was a time when God promised to Tabernacle with His people.


John 8:1-59

John 8:12  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.


Jesus was born on the date of the Feast of Tabernacle.

The Angels reference this festival when they tell the shepherds that this is a time of great joy for all people. John tells us that "Jesus was the Word made flesh" that came to dwell or tabernacle among us. (John 1:14)

25:38 And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.

25:39 Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.

25:40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was showed thee in the mount.

"According to all that I show thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it" (Exodus 25:9). 

This is the first mention of the tabernacle wherein the religious life of Israel was centered during their time of wandering in the desert. The details of its design, construction, and service occupy thirteen chapters in Exodus--more than for any other single item in the Bible. These details provide a wealth of typological intimations of the person and work of Jesus Christ.

This tabernacle, however, was based on the pattern of "the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man" (Hebrews 8:2). There is a heavenly tabernacle where Christ now dwells, and the furnishings and service of the earthly tabernacle were mere "patterns of things in the heavens" (Hebrews 9:23). "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us" (Hebrews 9:24).

Christ also entered yet a third tabernacle. "The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us" (John 1:14). In this key verse, the Greek word translated "dwelt" is actually "tabernacled"--thus His human body became God's tabernacle, and He will dwell there forever. Even though that body died, it was raised immortal, still a physical body, but one that will never die again.

Finally we have His wonderful assurance in the Bible's last chapter, that in this tabernacle, He will dwell among us eternally. "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God" (Revelation 21:3). The city’s nonprofit and academic partners—mainstays of the homeless-industrial complex—have also launched coordinated attacks against the critics.

Timothy Harris, director of Real Change News, has argued that grassroots neighborhood groups like Speak Out Seattle and labor unions like the Iron Workers Local 86 who opposed the city’s head tax are “alt-right” white supremacists, bigots, and fascists.

Catherine Hinrichsen, director of the Project on Family Homelessness at Seattle University, accused Johnson of “hate-mongering” and spreading “fear.”

After dictating homelessness policy for a generation, the activist class is losing the narrative—and this accounts for its increasingly desperate counterattacks. As their support among voters erodes and principled journalists like Johnson break the silence about homelessness, they fall back on branding their concerned neighbors “bigots,” “fascists,” and “white supremacists.”

It’s not working the way it used to. In Seattle, a reckoning on homelessness may not be far off.

The Basic Legal Framework

On the enforcement side, the administration might have a range of criminal statutes and enforceable legal obligations to use (or threaten to use) to stem the tide of leaks.

Criminal Statutes

The cornerstone of anti-leak law is a provision of the Espionage Act of 1917, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 793, which criminalizes improperly accessing, handling, or transmitting “information respecting the national defense” with the intent of injuring the United States or aiding a foreign nation. Under Supreme Court precedent, “national defense information” is broadly defined and includes sensitive information relating not only to the military, but also to national security more generally. As Professor Patricia Bellia notes, while “the phrase ‘national defense information’ used throughout §§ 793 and 794 is not coterminous with the phrase ‘classified information,’” nevertheless “a document’s classification status could provide evidence that the document was closely held or that the document, if transmitted, would injure the United States or aid a foreign nation.”

Later amendments added 18 U.S.C. § 798, criminalizing the disclosure of various kinds of classified information including information “concerning the communication intelligence activities of the United States or any foreign government.” Section 798 contains no explicit intent requirement: in order to violate that provision, one need only “knowingly and willfully” communicate the information. Notably, this is the provision of the law which FBI Director Comey famously determined Hillary Clinton did not violate, despite demands for prosecution from President Trump and other political opponents. While the law facially allows prosecution for mere gross negligence, in reality it does seem to require some degree of intent.

The other law that often forms the basis of leak prosecutions is the general theft statute at 18 U.S.C. § 641. This provision makes it a crime to steal, sell, or convey “any record, voucher, money, or thing of value of the United States or of any department or agency thereof.” The federal courts of appeals differ on applying this statute to leaks of government information: while all of the circuits recognize the government’s property interest in records and documents (so if you physically steal actual records, the statute most certainly applies), some refuse to extend that to the underlying information contained in the records.

Other laws criminalize more specific leaks. The Intelligence Identities Protection Act, for instance, makes it a crime to reveal the identity of covert agents. Former CIA officer John Kiriakou was indicted under this act and the Espionage Act for leaking classified information relating to the CIA’s detention and interrogation program. He pled guilty in 2012 and was the first CIA officer to serve a prison sentence for leaking. This is also the substantive offense at the heart of the Plame affair, discussed below.

And beyond those substantive offenses criminalizing leaking itself, there’s the crime of making false statements. Under 18 U.S.C. § 1001, it is a felony offense to “knowingly and willfully . . . make[] a materially false” statement in the course of an investigation by any branch of the federal government. So if you lie about a material fact in the course of a leak investigation (see more below on investigations), you’ve committed another substantive felony, and one that is very frequently prosecuted.

This provision is used far more frequently than the others, in part because of the aggravating nature of lying to law enforcement and in part because the offense is easier to prove. As the saying goes, it’s not the crime, it’s the coverup.

For example, the high-profile leak investigation of the naming of covert CIA operative Valerie Plame might have involved the Intelligence Identities Protection Act, but prosecutors ended up indicting Scooter Libby, Vice President Cheney’s chief of staff, on multiple counts of obstruction of justice, perjury, and making false statements. As The Washington Post reported at the time, the U.S. Attorney on the case “noted that proving illegal disclosure of classified information under various federal statutes is difficult,” in part because many require proving specific knowledge or intent.




Leak Investigations

Typically, classified information leak investigations are overseen by DOJ’s National Security Division and conducted by the FBI. In a 2006 interview, David Szady, former assistant director for counterintelligence at the FBI, outlined how leak investigations proceed.

First, the “victim agency” (the owner of the classified material) refers the matter to the Department of Justice, who decides whether to open an investigation. Importantly, investigations are opened only when the leaked information is accurate—that is, the mere fact of an investigation is an indirect confirmation of the accuracy of the leak.

DOJ then sends the file to the FBI, who conducts the actual investigation, typically reviewing documentation and signals intelligence but sometimes through interviews and polygraphs.

Eco-Madness May Be Behind Tragic Boeing 737 MAX Safety Failures

 

When Swedish eco-pessimist Greta Thumberg cam to New York to shout, How dare you!" last month, she maintained her climate purity by traveling on a carbon-neutral, solar-powered yacht.
Now that she’s in Canada, the teen doomsayer hasn’t explained how she’ll travel 4,000 miles home to Sweden without flying.

She’s given up airplanes because she believes their greenhouse emissions drive cataclysmic climate change.


Air travel, which accounts for 2 percent of global emissions, has become the great bogeyman for climate alarmists, sparking a backlash against airlines.

Punitive eco-taxes, aviation regulations, activist investors, green NGOs, and climate-aware passengers conspire to force airlines and manufacturers to lower CO2 emissions by using less fuel, which accounts for 99 percent of aviation’s carbon footprint.

No one has said it explicitly yet, but this relentless pressure to reduce emissions appears to have been a significant factor in the disastrous safety failures of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which resulted in two fatal crashes in the past year,  claiming 346 lives.

The warning from Boeing’s catastrophes is that climate ideology can have fatal consequences.
The 737 MAX was trumpeted as “Boeing’s game-changer.” It reduced emissions by 14 percent and Boeing raced it into production to compete with a climate-friendly new offering from Airbus.

But in order to achieve its green goal, Boeing had to use much bigger engines that didn’t fit in the usual position under the wing of the repurposed, 53-year-old 737 design.
The engines had to be moved forward and hoisted higher.

As a result, the aerodynamics changed, and the planes had a tendency to pitch up and potentially stall on takeoff.

Boeing’s solution to this hardware defect was an imperfect software bandage that would automatically correct the pitch.

In both crashes, preliminary investigations found this software kicked in even when the plane wasn’t stalling, with lethal consequences.

To understand the 737 MAX fiasco, you must go back to 2011, when Boeing faced an existential challenge from Airbus’ low-emission A320neo, which had been developed under stringent new European aviation climate regulations.

American Airlines, an exclusive Boeing customer, was threatening to defect to the A320neo, as the New York Times reported. Three months later, Boeing announced the 737 MAX.

The eco-imperative for Boeing was more than woke posturing. Its customers, the airlines, were demanding better environmental performance because of regulations and mounting threats from climate-conscious institutional investors. Biofuels and electric planes aren’t yet viable, so fuel efficiency was the only option.

While aviation escaped inclusion in the 2015 Paris climate agreement, the following year, the UN’s International Civil Aviation Organization bound 191 member nations to reduce CO2 emissions by a colossal 50 percent by 2050 or spend 2 percent of revenues buying offsets.

In other words, airlines have to pay to plant trees to satisfy emission reduction targets. This buys them cover to expand the industry.

The decarbonization imperative for Boeing was clear. Carriers like United, which has vowed to become “the most environmentally conscious airline in the world,” rushed to buy the 737 MAX.
So did American Airlines, whose CEO boasted, “We’re much more environmentally friendly than United Airlines right now because we’ve invested in more fuel-efficient aircraft.”

This was the priority driving Boeing. Its 2018 report “Build Something Cleaner” featured the 737 MAX on the cover and boasted that the plane will “emit 305,040 fewer tons of CO2 and save more than 215 million pounds of fuel per year, which translates into more than $112 million in cost savings.”

Declaring its commitment to halving carbon emissions by 2050, it said, “Reducing emissions is aligned to our customers’ strategic desire to decrease fuel use, a major cost and priority in their purchasing decisions. Our customers increasingly require that Boeing’s products and services include environmentally progressive attributes.”

Investors, too, increasingly demand improved “carbon performance.”
In March, a study funded by airline investors with $13 trillion of assets under management chastised the aviation industry for not doing enough to fight climate change.

“As investors, we need clarity about [whether] the sector is to make its contribution to the goals of the Paris Agreement” was a typical comment from investment bank BNP Paribas.

The pressure on Boeing to deliver climate outcomes was relentless. A flawed retrofit design was the price when Boeing decided it couldn’t wait another decade to design a new aircraft.

Indonesia’s Lion Air was the 737 MAX’s first customer in 2012.

In 2018, one of Lion Air’s planes crashed, killing 189 people.

A year later, the 737 MAX fleet is still grounded.

Boeing has lost more than $25 billion in market value and this week belatedly replaced a senior executive, after messages came to light between senior pilots complaining about the 737 MAX software “running rampant” during a test simulation in 2016.

We need to know if safety considerations at Boeing took a back seat to produce a climate-friendly plane. There are implications for other companies.

After all, as Bernie Sanders says, “You cannot go too far on the issue of climate change. The future of the planet is at stake.”

If you believe the world is going to end in 11 years, the deaths of a few poor air travelers are a small price to pay for appeasing the climate gods.

The video is significant in large part due to the number of times that Biden has engaged in smearing President Donald Trump with the patently false claim that the president said white supremacists and neo-Nazis were “very fine people” in the wake of the Charlottesville tragedy in 2017.

The video of Biden, from 1993, happened during the confirmation hearing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg while Biden was representing Delaware in the U.S. Senate.

Biden made the remarks while responding to comments from another Senator on the Judiciary Committee about a speech that Democratic Senator Howell Heflin delivered on the floor of the Senate.

Even CNN’s Jake Tapper, who is a heavily biased critic of the president, admitted earlier this year in response to Biden’s video that Trump did not call neo-Nazis and white supremacists “very fine people.”

Biden was confronted by Breitbart’s Joel Pollak over the false claim and Biden proceeded to explode on Pollak for confronting him on the lie.

Biden, on the other hand, has a history of praising racist segregationist Democratic Senators, stating that they were very civil.

Of the  17 historic impeachment proceedings brought against  judges and other officials who rank lower than president, 14 went to trial in the Senate and eight resulted in a guilty verdict.

In only three of those cases did the Senate bar – or "disqualify" – those who were convicted from holding office in the future.

If the US Senate convicts President Trump and he is removed from office and also "disqualifies" him from running from office again Trump can't be reelected.

So 3 things must happen if President Trump, Orange man, can't be reelected.

(1) The US Senate votes to convict President Trump on impeachment charges.

(2) The US Senate votes to remove Trump from office.

(3) The US Senate votes to bar President Trump from running for office again by disqualifing him.

THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

The result is Orange man, President Trump WILL be reelected in 2020 by a LANDSLIDE!!!!
