Employees of the V.A. were expected to make appointments with doctors for veterans (who had called in request them) within a 2-week period. If that didn’t consistently occur, these employees would not receive their bonuses for “good scheduling.“ The V.A., in multiple locations nationwide, then began to place Vets who called in on “select lists” which have now been proved to be death sentences.

Thus far, between 40-100 Vets’ deaths have been reported as likely attributed to their never being able to obtain an appointment with a doctor at the V.A.

This is the V.A.’s version of “death panels”…death panels which were, by the way, illegally added back into ObamaCare after the Orwellian bill was passed. The V.A. employees were caught placing our veterans on secret lists that disallowed them from receiving any treatment at all. Why? Because , if they hadn’t done so they might not have received those bonus checks! Veterans’ lives were lost for V.A. employees’ bonuses…and they knew it.

(VA death scheduling is exactly what will happen with obamacare. You will be put on a "scheduling list" ie you will be put in a cue or "selected lists". These selected lists will be death panel lists. You will wait for weeks or months before you can go to a doctor that is not of your choice. It will not matter how urgent your doctor visit is.

The government-backed study is called SUPPORT, which stands for “Surfactant, Positive Airway Pressure, and Pulse Oximetry Randomized Trial.” The experiment was conducted at 23 academic institutions from 2005 through 2009 under the National Institutes of Health, part of the Department of Health and Human Services.

It was a national, government-funded experiment on 1,316 extremely premature infants in which their fate may as well have rested with the flip of a coin.

“Parents of the infants who were enrolled in this study were misled about its purpose,” Carome says. “They were misled to believe everything being done was in the ‘standard of care’ and therefore posed no predictable risk to the babies.”

The Oxygen Dilemma

Doctors say babies are at risk of complications even when born at 37 weeks, now considered early term. The stated goal of SUPPORT was to identify the best oxygen level for extremely preterm infants—generally those born before 25 weeks, and so especially in distress.

Medical personnel routinely give supplemental oxygen to babies who are born with immature lungs. Too much oxygen can cause severe eye damage, including a blood vessel disease and blindness called retinopathy. Too little oxygen can lead to brain damage and death.

The NIH-funded experiment used the test babies in an attempt to find the sweet spot for preemies yet to be born: the lowest level of oxygen that would preserve vision, yet be sufficient to prevent brain damage and death.

To get the answer, researchers arbitrarily assigned infants to either a high-oxygen or low-oxygen group. Because, researchers say, all oxygen levels fell within the generally accepted range, they argue the babies received the same “standard of care” as babies not in the study. None of the consent forms mentioned a risk of death from the oxygen experiment.

But it turns out there were key differences in how researchers treated babies in the study compared with those not in the study.

Normally, medical personnel constantly adjust oxygen as preemies’ conditions change, based on their individual needs. But the SUPPORT study was designed to keep infants in their randomly assigned range, despite a baby’s individual needs.

And in a decision that one government source says shocked seasoned researchers when they learned of it, the babies’ oxygen monitors intentionally were altered to provide false readings. The reason: so medical staff wouldn’t be tempted to adjust oxygen out of the babies’ study-assigned range.

“Nothing in the consent form explained the falsely reading oxygen monitors could lead to adverse decisions about care of the babies,” Carome, who directs Public Citizen’s Health Research Group, says in an interview. He calls both the study design and consent form unethical.

More of the high-oxygen babies ended up with serious vision disorders. The low-oxygen preemies were more likely to die. The results, published in the New England Journal of Medicine in May 2010, sparked ethical questions and complaints. Companion studies being conducted in other countries were halted.

“The most troubling part is that numerous high-ranking officials facilitated this interference by senior NIH officials,” Carome said, “despite the fact that NIH had obvious actual, direct conflicts of interest in the research under investigation.”

One reason many scientists reject evolution is that it’s impossible to explain even the simplest of the incredible designs we find in creation as the work of a mindless, impersonal force. Imagine the challenge of explaining the many specialized features of the honeybee as the work of no one!

The honeybee has compound eyes that enable it to navigate by the sun even on cloudy days because it has a built in polarized light filter. The honeybee’s antennae contain both their sense of smell and sense of touch. For this reason they must be carefully cleaned. So the honeybees have special grooves in their front legs that are perfectly designed to clean them.

The honeybees also have hairs on their body to collect pollen and baskets on their rear legs to carry it. And they have special glands for producing, shaping and cleaning off wax. When one returns home with news of a good pollen source, the honeybee has a language that it can use to tell the others about it!

Not only is the honeybee a huge collection of special features united together, but they also live in a hive that unites thousands of individuals so that they all work together like a single organism! It simply goes against everything we know from science to suppose that millions of years of unplanned accidents could design and build the honeybee!

Bee bread is a highly nutritional derivative, made from pollen by bees. Scientists have understood for some time that worker bees who have just emerged from the comb must eat bee bread so that their glands produce food for the queen and developing larvae. However, older worker bees get by on honey alone. So scientists suspected that bee bread must have a higher nutritional value than honey.

Now, after painstaking work, researchers have learned how bee bread is made. Even as bees collect the pollen, they begin to work on the recipe. They add secretions from special glands, as well as microorganisms that produce enzymes which release a number of important nutrients from the pollen. Other microbes are added to produce antibiotics and fatty acids to prevent spoilage. At the same time, unwanted microbes are removed, and the bees add honey or nectar to the bread to get it to stick together.

The bees’ recipe for bee bread involves a highly sophisticated knowledge of microbiology, nutritional chemistry and biochemistry in general. Modern science, therefore, absolutely requires us to reject the idea that bees and their culture evolved by blind chance and ignorant natural forces.

Only a perfect Creator could have made these wonderful creatures and taught them how to make bee bread!

Scientists have long recognized that bees are intelligent creatures. At the same time, they believe that this intelligence is the product of millions of years of natural selection. The extremely fast learning ability of the bee either puts in doubt the millions of years or shows the hand of the Creator.

Researchers at Princeton University decided to find out whether bees were smart enough to find their food source if it was moved. The researchers moved the prime food source 50 meters farther away from the hive. They found that it took the bees less than one minute to locate the moved source. Being precise scientists, they then moved the food source another 50 meters away. The bees still took less than a minute to find the food source. Two more moves, each a precise 50 meters, produced the same results.

However, the bees had also been studying the researchers. Before the researchers could finish moving the food source yet another 50 meters, they found that the bees had discovered the pattern and were already waiting at the new location!

God is our Creator, and He has cleverly left the evidence of His handiwork – His fingerprints, if you will – in the creation itself. For those who have eyes to see, this fills us with wonder and, yes, with love for the Creator God who first loved us.

One might expect that the ape would turn out to be the best animal communicator. But evolution’s expectations about language, and a link between man and apes, proves to be wrong.

The bee has the most complex and detailed functional language among the animals. Let’s say that a bee has located a particularly good source of nectar and returns to the hive to tell its friends where it is. Our bee dances a figure eight, with the cross points at the center of the eight giving the direction of the nectar in relation to the sun. As the bee dances on the wall of the honeycomb, the position of the sun is always down. If the bee moves up the comb wall at 17 degrees to the left of vertical, it means the honey is 17 degrees to the left of the sun. This communication even works on cloudy days, since bees can see the ultraviolet light that penetrates the clouds. Distance is communicated by the speed of the dance.

Neither man’s languages, nor the bees’ language evolved – they were given by God. Why else would the bee indicate direction relative to the sun in the same way that human beings do? That the bee is the best communicator in the animal world, and not the apes, helps to show that language cannot be explained by evolution.

Why did the Creator bring together so many precise specifications and high intelligence in the honeybee? To glorify Himself and because bees are crucial to the reproductive cycles of so many plants as well as the food chain.

The amazing structure of the honeycomb has amazed scientists for thousands of years. As early as the third century AD, the astronomer Pappus of Alexandria offered an explanation for the six-sided or hexagonal shape of the honeycomb. He pointed out that while the triangle, square and hexagon could all be candidates for the shape of the comb, one of these shapes holds more than the others. The most efficient shape for storing the most honey while wasting the least space is the hexagon.

There are many variations of the hexagon that are available to the bee. However, the honeybee is always very precise in constructing honeycomb hexagons, with an obtuse angle of 109°23´ and an acute angle of 70°23´. These angles produce the most usable space for the least amount of building material. Humans are unable to use such precision in their designs without sophisticated equipment.

Each honeybee is a tiny but powerful computer that could only have been designed and built by an intelligent Creator. Bees and what they do are of central importance to much of the rest of creation. No wonder God has given them so much: the complex structure of their society, their intelligence and industriousness!

The "White House" blew the cover of the top CIA agent in Afghanistan on Sunday, when the person’s name was included on a list given to reporters during a visit to the country by President Barack Obama.

The name was then emailed by the White House press office to a distribution list of more than 6,000 recipients, mostly members of the US media.

The agent in question, listed as chief of station, would be a top manager of CIA activity in Afghanistan, including intelligence collection and a drone-warfare programme under which unmanned aerial vehicles mount cross-border attacks into Pakistan.

The name appeared on a list of attendees requested by White House officials for the president’s visit to Bagram air base to mark Memorial Day, the national day of tribute to fallen service members. The list of 15 people was drawn up by the military, written into a routine press report and sent to Washington. The Obama press office then sent the list, unredacted, to the larger group.

The mistake did not come to light until the reporter who had filed from Afghanistan, the veteran Washington Post correspondent Scott Wilson, looked more closely at what he had sent and noticed the name and title.

“I drew it to their attention before they had noticed what had happened,” Wilson said on Monday, hours after returning from the 33-hour trip overseas.

Wilson said time pressure, a high level of activity tied to the president’s visit and the relative inexperience of the military officers involved could have contributed to the mistake.

“My impression is these were very junior people trying to follow an order, that they don't fully understand or get the ramifications of,” he said.

The moral relativism of the “lesser of two evils” philosophy has been draining the heart and soul of America for decades. Many of us in the Liberty Movement understand that it is nothing new, and have come to expect the abusive and emaciated logic it entails from time to time.

However, over the course of the past year it has become apparent to me that the talking points and propaganda that drive the hypocritical worldview are being utilized on an even grander scale than ever before. This fact struck me quite sharply while attending a local GOP Lincoln/Reagan dinner event while I was attempting to gauge the overall danger our country would be facing from potential RINO (Republican In Name Only) sellouts as well as what our hopes were for a possible political solution at the local and state level. The “conservative” rally was, to say the least, disappointing.

One thing that stood out plainly at this event, though, was that there was an overall template; an action plan, a message that had been pre-engineered. Someone had sent out a memo, or an email, or a guide, or perhaps beamed talking points directly into the cyborg brains of these political hacks. Their rhetoric was repetitive and uniform and dry like elbow skin. The demand was clearly stated; regardless of who won the Republican Primaries, no matter how unprincipled, how unconstitutional, how despicable, it was our “duty” as conservatives to back them through the national elections. Obama and the Democrats had to be defeated at all costs…

Now, one of the first tenets or rules that a person learns when delving into the Liberty Movement is that there is no such thing as political parties in America today. There are no conflicting interests in Washington D.C. There is no “grand battle” between left and right for the minds of the masses. It is a sham. A con. A fantasy. A false paradigm.

In reality, the leaderships of both fraudulent parties support essentially the same methodology, and that methodology could be summarized thus: Centralize everything, globalize everything, control everything, grow government power, reduce the effectiveness of the citizenry, turn the public against each other, rob them while they’re distracted. If an American does not understand this dynamic and how it is used to dominate the ebb and flow of our culture, then that American knows nothing. He is lost…

Sadly, even those of us who should very well know better than to fall into the false left/right paradigm trap do so on occasion.

Lesser Of Two Evils? There’s No Such Thing…

First of all, asserting that there is such a thing as a “lesser of two evils” is an act of naivety. It relies on a very dangerous assumption; that one can somehow quantify which candidate is going to hurt the country less. I’ve even read essays by people who pretend they can mathematically delineate the “more evil” of the evils! Not surprisingly, their “logic” invariably leads them to proclaim the lesser evil to be the candidate of the party they happen to belong to. Ignorant Republicans always see the Democrat as the greater evil, while ignorant Democrats always see the Republican as the ultimate monster.

Here’s some math for you: there are two candidates for President of the United States, one is a cannibalistic serial killer who plans to murder 20 more people with his own hands while in office. The other is a cannibalistic serial killer who only plans to kill 19 innocents personally. Which candidate do you support?

The correct answer is NEITHER.

Unless you are a fan of murder, there is no inherent difference between these two demonic bureaucrats. They both stand in opposition to the guiding principles of inborn conscience, as well as the protections provided by the laws of free people. The fact that one man will do slightly less damage during his reign is irrelevant. Is a choice between Stalin and Hitler, for instance, really a choice at all? Which one is the "lesser evil" in this equation?

Some may argue that this comparison is a bit over the top. I beg to differ. Presidents have the power not only to maim and kill en mass, but they also have the power to dismantle the laws which protect our civil liberties.

A refusal to vote, or a vote for a third party, is not a vote for sham democrate , or a vote for sham republican, but a vote against the charade.

There is no such thing as a “lesser evil”. Either a candidate follows the path of truth and honor, or he does not. If he does, he deserves our support. If he does not, or if both candidates are criminals, then they both must be tossed to the wayside. Just because the system has deliberately limited our choices does not mean we are required to participate in the flim-flam.

Participation Is A Duty?

I have also heard the argument that by refusing to participate within the system, and by refusing to choose a specimen from the carnival of horrors we are presented every election cycle, we are doing more harm to America than good. This is the most prevalent falsehood of our era.

The bottom line is, Americans have been dancing in the lesser of two evils pageantry for generations and our Constitutional shield has only been further degraded and destroyed in that time. I defy anyone to show how choosing Obama over McCain, or Bush over Gore, or Clinton over Bush Sr. has helped this country or its people. Where are these illusory advantages and benefits of participation? Where has our country gone while the public fettered away years trying to decide which ghoul to hand over the scepter of empire to? Or, the ultimate question; what specifically have they achieved? Have they gained anything? Has any minutia of our lives been made better by following the “lesser of two evils theory”? Only a fool would claim yes…

One might argue that a non-vote is the same as putting all bad candidates on the same footing, and that this would be “wrong”. I disagree. In an election in which all candidates share the same disparaging policies, they are ALREADY on the same footing. We simply refuse to give the farce legitimacy by casting our vote for any one of them.

In the game of chess, the primary goal is to diminish your opponent’s options. To force him into a corner where, no matter which choice he makes, he loses. Chess, however, is not life. In life, intelligent and creative individuals have the ability to walk away from the board completely and implement their own solutions. The more we continue to participate in the rigged game, and the more we continue to view the future as a series of self contained boundaries administered by the establishment instead of a wide open frontier in which all is possible, the more we will lose, until there is nothing left.

Only Cowards Compromise In The Face Of Evil

Good does not compromise with evil. As stated above, there is nothing to be gained by it. I find that the people most prone to suggesting or demanding compromise with oligarchs and tyrants are usually cowards who have never faced down any legitimate struggle in their lives with any passion. But, how do they sell this stunted philosophy to others? The illusion here is one of “reason” or “objectivity”.

Fearful men often use the guise of objectivity (even if they are not) to avoid confrontation, especially confrontation with a supposed authority figure or government. Strangely, their powers of reason and deduction invariably seem to lead them to subservience to the establishment structure. Compromise, for them, is a way to protect their flailing egos by playing the role of the “even handed citizen” while at the same time crawling towards servitude.

The argument to this position would, of course, be that many in the Liberty Movement compromise with evil everyday. That we follow laws we disagree with and that we find reprehensible, and that this makes us somehow “hypocritical”. I would say that this is a very narrow and disingenuous view.

Free minded people do not “follow” reprehensible laws so much as tolerate them while working to dismantle them (“following” infers acceptance). Being honorable and generally of good will, we look for peaceful avenues of redress and change. But, if those avenues are closed to us, and if the injustices expand, the free minded become freedom fighters. Dissent and even revolution are inevitable in the face of tyranny. It is an undeniable feature of human nature.

What I find most interesting though is the conundrum that this conflict of interest creates for the skeptical establishment slave. If the Liberty Movement tolerates bad law while searching for a peaceful path towards change, they call us hypocritical. If the Liberty Movement abandons tolerance and brings force to bear against tyranny and its abuse of the law, they call us “fringe extremists”.

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – A veteran police detective in Melbourne, Australia believes that after four years of continuous research and writing, he has uncovered just how President John F. Kennedy was killed.

Colin McLaren used the research from another author to inspire his ongoing investigation in to the truth.

McLaren built his book, “JFK: The Smoking Gun,” around the research previously done by ballistics expert, Howard Donahue.

Donahue spent 20 years studying the JFK assassination and his work is included in author Bonar Menninger’s book, “Mortal Error: The Shot that Killed JFK.

His fascination started when he was on vacation many years ago and came across Menninger’s book. Then for the next 15 years his interest was peaked and he wanted to know more about the information that Donahue and Menninger had presented.

McLaren started his research in January of 2009. His work is a confirmation of Donahue’s theory and a continuation of Menninger’s research.

To summarize their theory of the accident, a Secret Service agent accidentally fired that fatal shot. There were three rounds, but the third came from a different place causing President John F. Kennedy’s head to move forward, not behind.

There were two guns, three bullets and two shooters. One was using a full metal jacket bullet that was fired twice at the president, then a hollow-point bullet fired from a rifle to kill him.

So the story goes, a Secret Service agent in the car behind the president’s was standing on an unstable vehicle and stumbled over, accidentally pulling the trigger and firing at the president.

“This was clearly a horrific accident with a fool-hearted, poor assassination attempt by Lee Harvey Oswald,” said McLaren.

“If you look at the science of it all it has to be from behind and it has to be a straight level and it has to be from somebody with a .223 or hollow-point round, that’s a rifle round,” said McLaren. “And who on that day was armed with a round or at least a rifle firing a hollow-point, the question is easy to answer, it’s the Secret Service detail in the car behind.”

He examined the characters of the Secret Service men who later admitted to drinking alcohol and entertaining strippers the night before. McLaren feels that these men were hung over, with clouded minds while wearing impaired dark sunglasses.

Although, he believes the agent who accidentally fired his gun was a new member to the team and was strictly assigned as the driver not a field agent.

Witnesses who were there say that they saw the men in the second car falter and stumble in the chaos and panic. This was an event that could never be replicated and is a “once in history” moment.

The AR-15 is a lightweight, 5.56 mm/.223-caliber, magazine-fed, air cooled rifle with a rotating-lock bolt, actuated by direct impingement gas operation or long/short stroke piston operation. It has been produced in many different versions, including numerous semi-automatic and selective fire variants. It is manufactured with extensive use of aluminum alloys and synthetic materials.

The AR-15 was first built by ArmaLite as a small arms rifle for the United States armed forces. Because of financial problems, ArmaLite sold the AR-15 design to Colt. After modifications (most notably the relocation of the charging handle from under the carrying handle like the AR-10 to the rear of the receiver), the new redesigned rifle was subsequently adopted as the M16 rifle.

Colt then started selling the semi-automatic version of the M16 rifle as the Colt AR-15 for civilian sales in 1963 and the term has been used to refer to semiautomatic-only versions of the rifle since then. Although the name "AR-15" remains a Colt registered trademark, variants of the firearm are independently made, modified and sold under various names by multiple manufacturers.

(The book and film refer to the rifle the secret service used as an AR15. The secret service agent did use an AR15 that was an automatic AR15, IE a machine gun. The same name AR15 name is now used to represent a civilian SEMI AUTOMATIC rifle, it only fires one bullet per trigger pull! Don't think the secret service agent used anything other than an automatic rifle. Its confusing because Colt continued to use the name AR15 which in the beginning was the name used for the weapons that were automatic built for the military but now the AR15 is term is used in relation to civilian rifles that are SEMI AUTOMATIC ONLY! This means also when the secret service agent pulled the trigger it fired more than one time. It fired serveral times at the minimum. One of these bullets hit Kennedy. You have to realize that this happened in 1963, not in 2013. People were not so jaded with respect to the government. Also, the government treated the masses as if they were stupid sheep who would believe anything and for the most part, they did. To answer the question as to why the parties involved wouldn't have just admitted the truth, understanding the mindsets of the day are important. ~ I was 9 years old when Kennedy was shot and I don't think I ever believed the results of the Warren Commission. By the same token, I've never seen or heard anything that so clearly explained what might have happened as this documentary. I'd never before heard of Donahue's research or his book or the matter may well have been put to rest for me many years ago. ~ I was never looking to exonerate Oswald, the Secret Service, or anyone else. All I've ever wanted was to understand the truth of what happened that November day in 1963. I think I finally do. ~ This film is definitely worth watching. ~

This documentary closely follows the book, Mortal Error, which I read back in the early 90's. The book was the first realistic explanation for the Kennedy assassination I'd heard, and I'd read probably hundreds of explanations and theories as to who, what, when, where, etc. Colin's investigation takes a step-by-step look into not only what happened to Kennedy on that fateful day in Dallas, but into the mind and workings of a dedicated investigative professional who will not stop til the questions are answered. Definitely worth the watch-- the film is engaging, precise, well-researched and well put-together. Highly recommended.

(I watched this film on nexflix last night. I was impressed with the details of the investigator. They found 3 shells next to where oswald fired a gun. One one them was used as a "plug" for the gun. That could mean he fired only 2 shots. That makes sense to me.The first shot hit the pavement. The next shot cut through Kennedy's throat. The third shot came from a secret service agent, just behind Kennedy's, car that had picked up an AR15 took the safety off, fell backward in the car and accidently pulled the trigger as the car sped off.

The secret service altered the evidence from the time of the autopsy to coverup the facts. The warren commission did a bad investigation working with the secret service to cover up the fact that oswald was not the only shooter.

Many people smelled gun power that day and it was not coming from a sixth floor window. It was at ground level. That means a gun was fired near Kennedy.

How would it look for the US to admit that Kennedy was killed by a secret service agent along with oswald?

The United States Department of Agriculture is set to purchase an unknown quantity of submachine guns, leading to questions about where the weapons will be heading and for what purpose they will be used.

A solicitation (replete with spelling errors) posted on the Fed Biz Opps website states;

“The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General, located in Washington, DC, pursuant to the authority of FAR Part 13, has a requirement for the commerical (sic) acquisition of submachine guns, .40 Cal. S&W, ambidextrous safety, semi-automatic or 2 shot burts (sic) trigger group, Tritium night sights for front and rear, rails for attachment of flashlight (front under fore grip) and scope (top rear), stock-collapsilbe (sic) or folding, magazine – 30 rd. capacity, sling, light weight, and oversized trigger guard for gloved operation.”

Hopefully, those operating the semi-automatic weapons will be better skilled than whoever is writing solicitations on behalf of the USDA, but the fact that the law enforcement division of the United States Forest Service, which operates under the USDA, is not mentioned in the request has prompted some to question where the guns will be going.

“They will no doubt attempt to justify their purchase of military hardware by explaining that they conduct criminal investigations and may need to do armed raids,” writes Bob Owens, adding, “This is part of a trend to arm every branch of federal government, whether the individual agency has a legitimate need for a paramilitary force or not.”

Concerns over large ammunition purchases by the Department of Homeland Security have raged over the past two years, although a recent Government Accountability Office investigation downplayed the issue as nothing out of the ordinary.

More pertinent than the amount of bullets purchased has been the type of ammunition and the DHS’ insistence that companies be able to supply them quickly if needed, which some have linked to the federal agency’s preparations for domestic unrest in the United States.

In May last year, the DHS sent out a request for information asking companies if they could provide 2 million bullets within a 30-60 day turnaround period.

In October 2013, the DHS acknowledged it was hiring armed guards to secure government buildings in the event of “public demonstration(s)” and “civil disturbances,” while also spending half a million dollars on fully automatic pepper spray launchers and projectiles that are designed to be used during riot control situations.

In February last year, Law Enforcement Targets Inc., a contractor that had previously done $2 million dollars worth of business with the DHS, was forced to apologize after producing “no more hesitation” shooting targets which depicted pregnant women, children, and elderly gun owners in residential settings as “non-traditional threats.”

More recently the DHS issued a solicitation for over 141,00 rounds of sniper ammunition, bullets known commercially as “Zombie Max,” a reference to their high power.

Are There Any Similarities found in the Mindsets of Southern Slaves and Todays African-American Americans?

Many within the African-American community continue to talk about a phenomenon called the slave mentality.It's a very controversial topic thats discussed during African-American forums, in African-American media outlets, and at just about any gathering where the attendees are all African-American.

The reason is likely because both blacks and whites feel very uncomfortable talking about this in racially mixed company especially and when you consider America's history of slavery. But is it real? I believe it is and a clear definition is needed.

But this mindset that needs to be examined and understood by all, but especially by those in the African-American community if certain issues are to be dealt with.

I think the most qualified people to define the term are people who were former slaves themselves—Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman.

Both Douglass and Tubman escaped slavery and spent their lives helping others do the same. As outstanding members of the Abolitionist Movement, they contended with the slave mentality on a regular basis. And they walked among those that had this mindset. That makes Douglass and Tubman leading authorities on the subject.

What is the Slave Mentality?

Frederick Douglass documents his experience with other slaves in his autobiography, "Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass." And among the many things he says, we find this statement:

"I have found that, to make a contented slave, it is necessary make a thoughtless one. It is necessary to darken his moral and mental vision, and as far as possible, to annihilate his power of reason. He must be able to detect no inconsistencies in slavery; he must be made to feel that slavery is right."

Harriet Tubman, who led many slaves to freedom through the Underground Railroad, said this about the slave mentality

"I freed a thousand slaves. I would've freed a thousand more, if they only knew they were slaves".

Based on Douglass and Tubman's experience, we can define the slave mentality as follows: A person conditioned to quietly, and without objection, accept harmful circumstances for themselves as the natural order of things. They're also conditioned to accept their master's view and beliefs, about themselves, and strive to get others, within their group, to accept the master's view. I think this definition summarizes a slave's way of thinking. But is this phenomenon thriving in African-Americans today? If so, where is it clearly seen?

Do People with Enslaved Minds Act Alike?

Nowhere is it seen more clearly seen than in the relationship between the African-American community and the Democrat Party. Let’s take a closer look and see if our definition accurately applies.

For decades, black people have supported the Democrat Party at every level of government. As a result, the Democrats have maintained control of inner cities across America . And, until the 2010 elections, they maintained control of many state governments.

But let's examine the results of this alliance. According to the U.S. Department of Justice Department of Criminal Statistics, African-Americans account for more than 45 percent of all murder victims in 2007. And about 90 percent of those murders are committed by other African-Americans. And this trend has been going on for decades.

And consider the trend of the African-American population itself, which is in full reverse! Statistics from the U.S. Department of Health show that three out of five African-American pregnancies, in New York , end in abortion. And nationally, African-Americans account for 36.4 percent of all abortions but account for only 13 percent of the country's population.

On the education front, many African-American children, in junior high and high school, are unable to read at their grade level. This has been going on for a long time also. And with the Democrats in charge of education, the literacy rate for African-Americans has been on a downward spiral.

African-Americans never express their dissatisfaction Democrats in general. In fact, African-Americans reward them by voting them back into office each election year.

This behavior meets our definition of the slave mentality, in which African-Americans appear to accept harmful circumstances quietly and without objection.

Slaves also nurtured a concept that told them they were completely dependent on their slave owners. They believed they couldn't survive without them. And no one can dispute that the same thinking was planted in the minds of African-Americans by the Democrats since the Lyndon Johnson era. And whenever the government talks about cutting programs, many black people don't believe they'll survive.

Based on all of this, we can conclude that many within the black community make decisions according to the judgment of a slave. But is this type of judgment exclusive to black people? No, it is not. The slave mentality is the result of conditioning that's been learned and passed down from generation to generation. And since it was the black race that was enslaved in America , this mindset is easily found in their descendants. However, if you look and compare eastern European races to their ancestors that experienced the same thing historically, it's very likely that you'll see the same behavior.

Black people must find the courage to assert their independence and individuality in the face of their peers and their slave masters. While living in Maryland , Douglass was constantly warned, by other slaves, to stop reading for his own safety. Other slaves told Douglass that he must sound and act like them. As a slave, Douglass was also denied reading and writing material by law. But he used rocks, lumber, and anything that would make, or leave, a mark as his pen and paper.

Douglass understood that other slaves were concerned for his welfare, but knew that he couldn't accept his master's view of him. Douglass accepted God's view. And after he found the inner strength to resist his peers and his master, he educated himself and became a free man.

Today, that translates into African-Americans asserting their independence from Democrats, who were the supporters and practitioners of slavery.

Black people must also resist the self-destructive aspects of their culture even when other African-Americans, like Al Sharpton, say they must accept them.

Congress is suddenly serious about getting to the bottom of the Benghazi scandal and finding out whether the White House played politics with the death of an American ambassador by trying to deflect blame for the deadly attack.

House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, has finally agreed to a longstanding demand by fellow GOP lawmakers to convene a select committee to investigate the attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya ,that killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, on Sept. 11, 2012.

Boehner is reportedly looking for concrete evidence that the effort to deflect blame for the attack came from the heart of the White House.

REP Wolf began calling for a select committee to get to the bottom of the Benghazi attack as far back as November 2012. Wolf’s House resolution requesting that committee was so popular with his fellow rank-and-file Republicans that it attracted more than 185 co-sponsors.

But Boehner steadfastly refused to form the committee, publicly saying it might hamper the five committee investigations underway.

The speaker’s sudden about-face on Friday came after a lawsuit by Judicial Watch forced the Obama administration to release what many consider a “smoking gun” email.

The email, withheld by the State Department for 19 months after it was subpoenaed, shows that White House official Ben Rhodes, a top national security aide to President Obama, gave talking points to then-Ambassador Susan Rice, who appeared on five Sunday talk shows.

He encouraged her to emphasize the attack was “rooted in an Internet video, and not a failure of policy” even though defense and intelligence officials had already decided the video was not the cause of the attack.

According to the CIA station chief and State Department officials in Libya during the attack, there was no spontaneous protest against an anti-Islamic video on the Internet, and the compound had come under a pre-planned and coordinated attack by an al-Qaida affiliate.

Even after the administration learned those people blamed terrorists and not a video, the administration continued to blame the video.

President Obama stuck to the disproven narrative and still blamed the attack on the video when addressing the United Nations on Sept. 25, a full two weeks after the attack.

BEAVER, Pa. (AP) - A widow was given ample notice before her $280,000 house was sold at a tax auction three years ago over $6.30 in unpaid interest, a Pennsylvania judge has ruled.

The decision last week turned down Eileen Battisti's request to reverse the September 2011 sale of her home outside Aliquippa in western Pennsylvania.

"I paid everything, and didn't know about the $6.30," Battisti said. "For the house to be sold just because of $6.30 is crazy."

Battisti, who still lives in the house, said Monday that she plans to appeal to Commonwealth Court. That court earlier ordered an evidentiary hearing, which led to last week's ruling.

Joe Askar, Beaver County's chief solicitor, said the judge got the decision right, based on the law.

"The county never wants to see anybody lose their home, but at the same time the tax sale law, the tax real estate law, doesn't give a whole lot of room for error, either," Askar said.

Battisti said her husband handled the paperwork for the property's taxes before he passed away in 2004.

That is an excuse to steal a widow's home for $6.30! The judge could have ruled that the widow just pay the original $6.30 that was due also the interest charge of $235.00 due instead of selling her home. The house was sold for $116,000. Eileen Battisti's house was taken without regard to the widow living in the home. This could happen anywhere because federal, state and local governments have too much power and control over citizens.
