Little Richard Final Message

Little Richard trusted in Jesus as his saviour and tells us so in his final message.

The flamboyant singer, who was thrown out of his home as a teenager when his sexual orientation clashed with his family's Pentecostal faith, first renounced the "Devil's music" in 1957 while touring in Sydney, Australia.

A blazing fireball in the sky - which turned out to be the launching of the Sputnik 1 satellite - warned of his eternal damnation and he boogied his way to Alabama to save his soul (and study theology).

Hits like "Tutti Frutti," "Long Tall Sally" and "Good Golly Miss Molly" were relics of a sinful past for the newly ordained singer, who switched to gospel music and founded the Little Richard Evangelistic Team.

The lure of rock 'n roll was too strong, however, and he returned to secular music just a few years later with a European tour and the televised special The Little Richard Spectacular, a ratings bonanza.

But he couldn't replicate his success on the charts and soon fell into a spiral of drug and alcohol abuse.

God came calling again in 1977 and Richard returned to evangelism, releasing the gospel album God's Beautiful City in 1979.

That same year, Richard stands before a congregation in North Richmond, California, and utters his famous testament of faith, simultaneously confirming the long-argued topic of his sexual orientation:

"If God can save an old homosexual like me, he can save anybody."

Richard's stance against secular music - not to mention his controversial comments against homosexuality, which he later calls "unnatural" and "contagious" - does little to anger the rock gods of the time (perhaps they are too occupied with Bob Dylan's much-publicized conversion to Christianity).

Now the Reverend Richard Pennimen, he begins presiding over weddings, starting with Stevie Van Zandt's in 1982.

Little Richard shares his personal testimony and love for Jesus during worship hour at the 3ABN Camp Meeting. Richard Wayne Penniman, better known as Little Richard, was an American singer, songwriter, and musician.

He passed away May 9, 2020 and rests until the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Watch and listen as Little Richard shares how God changed his life.

He said in times like these we need a saviour.

EDITOR NOTE

God can change anybodys life if they just in Jesus as their saviour believing he shed his blood on the cross for their sins.

Romans 10:9,10

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Little richard spoke of gaining the whole world. He also quoted the bibile verse,

Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

God got his attention and put little richard in a wheel chair.

God had mercy on Little Richard and he realized his soul was worth more than all his riches and fame, the whole world.

On May 9, 2020 all I saw on the media was stories and videos about Little Richard singing rock and roll.

I never saw one story about his salvation through faith in Jesus.

Today 5/31/2020 I watched a youtube video of Little Richard preaching the gospel in what was called his final message.

Little Richard shares his personal testimony and love for Jesus.

Little Richard was a changed man.

Little Richard trusted in Jesus and also wanted you to know rock and roll is not from God but is a tool used by satan to deceive many.

Little Richard said:

"If God can save an old homosexual like me, he can save anybody."

Listen to Little Richard's Final message and Trust in Jesus as your personal saviour.

The Good News of GOD'S Word!

Believe and be saved from your sins

In the year 1943, Ruth Caye Jones, a pastor’s wife in Pennsylvania and the mother of five, was distressed by the headlines of her Pittsburgh newspaper. She saw the World War II causality lists and she knew the Allies were making slow progress through the boot of Italy.

Supplies were rationed at home, and everyone was living under incredible strain.

Opening her Bible to 2 Timothy 3, Ruth studied the page and pondered the opening words. But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come.

A song began composing itself in her mind. She jotted some lyrics on a small pad in her apron pocket. A series of notes also played in her mind.

Only later did she realize they came from the old clock on the mantle with its iconic Westminster Chimes. Soon the notes and music congealed to become one of the most beloved Gospel songs of the 1940s and 1950s, “In Times Like These.”

2 Timothy 3

Chapter 1  2  3  4

3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

3:9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.

3:10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

3:11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
