Abstract To describe the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome in Hong Kong.

Coronavirus may be killed by a higher body temperature
May I postulate this deadly virus has the following characteristics:1. It is highly infectious because it infects by air-borne.
2. If the body temperature is below 36C, 96.8F, it grows very fast.
3. The destructive immune reaction will take some time (? 7-10 days) to
develop. Patients then start to have high fever.
4. During this period, if the body temperature is above 36.5C, 97.7F, and better
still, above 37C, 98.6F, the virus is attenuated or killed. Body will develop a
milder immune response and recover.
5. Patients with high fever can kill the virus. That is why CDC advocates
some patients recovered without anti-viral therapy.
Supports of this hypothesis are :
1. The victims usually stay in a cold environment for a reasonable time
after being infected, eg. in ward, hotel, aeroplane cabins, air-
conditioned offices, etc.
2. This year, the climate in HK and Canton is extraordinarily cold and
persistent.
3. The weather in Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia is hot, so their
outbreaks are easily controlled. The air-conditioning in HK and Singapore
are too cool, so control is difficult. Canada ia again too cold, so the
outbreak is serious.
4. Children (especially under age of 8 years) in China are much less
affected because they have higher metabolic rate and they are more active
(eg. travel a long distance to school and many other physical activities).
Children in HK are very sedentary, their homes and schools are air-
conditioned. Therefore the infection incidence of children are same as
adults in HK.
5. Elderly and people with chronic illness have lower BMR. They have
higher incidence rate and mortality.
6. Coronavirus can be found in cats, dogs, pigeons, ducks and geese. They
are not infected because all of them have very high BMR.
7. It is well known that herbal medicine can increase the metabolic rate
and kill the virus. The herbs prescribed in Canton are commented by WHO to
be effective.
8. Passengers from an infected aeroplane cabin have a greater chance to
cause an outbreak in a cold place,
9. Pregnant women are much less infected. They have high BMR. Are those
500 contact pregnant women free from infection?
10. More data are required to analyse if active people (eg. outdoor
workers, labourers) are less prone to be infected.

If the hypothesis is correct, then control is straight forward :
1. Put on more clothes to make body really warm,
2. Maintain room temperature at least above 23C,
3. Do exercise for 30 minutes daily, make sure you really sweat.
May 2019 Greenville Temperatures (This is when I suspect the Corona Virus and other Virus will begin to die out if not before in April.
It was 95 F May 24, 2019 in Greenville SC.
It was 97 F Jul 18, 2019 in Greenville SC.
It was 99 F Aug 13, in Greenville SC.
The Corona Virus will not thrive in these temperatures.

Between now 3/13/20 and 5/13/20 about 2 months all we will hear is DOOM and GLOOM about the Cornia Virus, Stock Market economy etc etc.
Yes the Cornia virus cases will increase during this time as will the death rate.
It will reach a peak then begin to level off.
The national media has about 2 more months to hype the Cornia Virus and try to destroy the economy by making you panic.
DON'T PANIC!
If you live further north it will not get as hot and I suspect be more of a problem.
Tanning beds have been known to cause skin cancer, but maybe if you live in an area further north where it does not get as hot you might consider getting into a tanning bed or a sauna.

The warmer the temperature gets the more the Virus dies.
I suspect it will be just the same with the Corona Virus (covad-19).
The lower the temperature and the lower the humidity the Virus spreads more. (winter)
The higher the temperature the less the virus speads and the more it is killed off. (spring/summer)
This is why Viruses tend to die off as in the spring as the temperatures increase.
Currently the national media is stampeding the American public into a total panic mode.

The national news media is making us all think that the Corna Virus is going to kill us all.
They are focusing on test kits etc.
If you get the Corona Virus and your immune system is healthy you will possibly not realize you have the Corna Virus and think you have a common cold.
If you get the Corona Virus and your immune system is not healthy or you have certain underlying health conditions then you are more at risk to become more sick.
If you live in a nursing home or in more confined spaces with other people you are more at risk just because you are more likely to come into contact with someone who has a virus or the flu.
In reality the HYPED national news about the Corona Virus is causing everything under the sun to be cancelled where groups of people will be.
This in effect will curtail the Corona Virus outbreak and other virus outbreaks including the flu because you will not be in a group of people where a virus can infect you.
Keep in mind this also:
The Corona Virus and other viruses can live on paper money and coins .
If you handle paper money or coins be careful.
Ultraviolet light does kill viruses. This is why you see them in various places of business especially where you wash your hands in bathrooms.
