Great Depression Cooking

**************************************************

*************************************************
Great Depression Cooking: The Poorman's Meal 94 year old cook and great grandmother, Clara, recounts her childhood during the Great Depression as she prepares meals from the era. Learn how to make simple yet delicious dishes while listening to stories from the Great Depression.

(Information for anyone to use that has realized self dependence is number one. The unconstitutional ndda of 2012 that was passed by congress and signed by the illegal president seals the fate of America. It deleted the 5,6,7 amendments that protected Americans from the government! Its a different 'ballgame" now if you know what mean. This blog will concentrate on self preservation and self reliance because the writing is on the wall. I think this series with clara is great survival information. Listen and learn.) Story Reports

Ingredients for a family of 3 (suits our tastes and budget)...

3 baked potatoes (leftover from another meal)

1-2 onions (depends on size)

1/2 Cup beans (I always have beans in my crockpot ready to through into everything) We are vegetarians, so no hotdogs, beans are better for us anyway

2-3 Cups dandelion greens (or other greens)

Dash of Molasses (any sweetener)

Seasoned salt (or what tastes good)

Cook in olive oil
