(This is interesting. A former LIBERAL shrink evaluates what the heck is wrong with obama. She is a professional psychotherapist who knows something is very very wrong with obama. She has diagnosed obama as having Schizotypal Personality Disorder. Schizotypal personality disorder, or simply schizotypal disorder, is a personality disorder that is characterized by a need for social isolation, odd behavior and thinking, and often unconventional beliefs.

The disorder runs a chronic course with fluctuations of intensity. Occasionally it evolves into overt schizophrenia.

So what is the matter with Obama? Conservatives have been asking this question for some time. I've written a number of articles trying to solve the mystery.

Even some liberals are starting to wonder. James Carville railed about Obama's blasé attitude after the catastrophic oil spill. The New York Times' Maureen Dowd revamped Obama's "Yes We Can" motto into "Will We Ever?"

The liberal women of the TV show "The View" have expressed sympathy for Michelle Obama's living with a man so out of touch. Peggy Noonan, hardly a vehement Obama foe, recently pronounced him disconnected.

Obama's odd mannerisms intrigue a psychotherapist like me. He also presents a serious diagnostic challenge.

For one, Obama's teleprompter and the men behind the Blackberry keep him well-scripted. We know so little about the facts of his life.

But it's more than just a lack of information. Obama himself is a strange bird. He doesn't fit easily into any diagnostic category.

Many people attribute Obama's oddness to his narcissism. True, Obama has a gargantuan ego, and he is notoriously thin-skinned.

Yet a personality disorder like narcissism does not explain Obama's strangeness: his giggling while being asked about the economy; his continuing a shout-out rather than announcing the Ft. Hood shootings; or his vacations, golfing, partying and fundraising during the calamitous oil spill.

Take also Obama's declaring on the "Today Show" that he wants to know whose ass to kick. Consummate narcissists would never stoop to this vulgar display of adolescent machismo.

Obama is flat when passion is needed; he's aggressive when savvy is required. What's most worrisome is that Obama doesn't even realize that his behavior is inappropriate.

(Its a simple pattern to discern. Obama does the opposite of what he says he will do. BO states facts that are the opposite of what is real. Obama seems to have an evil counterpart. He has a split personality. The teleprompter obama spits out propaganda that twists the truth. A prime example was the quote he uttered recently. "Contrary to popular reports crime on the border is down. The southern border is more secure today that at anytime in the last 20 years". Crime on the border is not down, it is increasing and out of control. The US border is less secure that it has been at any time in the last 20 years.

Every utterance of obama is evidence obama should be removed from office because he is truly mentally ill to the point he is not only a danger to himself but to ALL AMERICANS!. Obama utters what I thought were just lies. It seems the evil twin of obama, which is his split personality, controls him at will.

If obama was related to me I would have him committed because of his mental illness.

I hope he can be removed from office soon. I have been concentrating on the US citizenship issue of obama. Not only is obama an illegal alien he is a mentally ill illegal alien. How much worse can it get?) Story Reports

So if it's not just simple narcissism, what is wrong with Obama? Since I've never evaluated him, I can't say for sure. But I can hazard some educated guesses.

If I saw a client as disconnected as him, the first thing I would wonder: Is something wrong with his brain? And I'd consider the following theoretical diagnostic possibilities.

--Physical problems: There are a multitude of physiological conditions that can cause people to act strangely. For instance: head injuries, endocrine disturbances, epilepsy, and toxic chemical exposure.

It makes me wonder: Did Obama ever have a head injury? His stepfather in Indonesia was purportedly an alcoholic abuser. Was Obama subject to any physical abuse?

-- Drugs and alcohol: Damage to the brain from drugs and alcohol can also cause significant cognitive impairments. Obama once said that there were 57 states -- and didn't correct himself. Memory problems can be caused by both illicit and prescription drug use.

Obama admits to a history of drug use in his youth. Did his usage cause some damage? Does Obama still use?

--Asperger's Syndrome: Also known as high-functioning autism, Asperger's causes deficits in social skills. A person with Asperger's can't read social cues. Consequently, he can be insensitive and hurtful without even knowing it.

Could Obama have Asperger's? He might have some mild traits, but certainly not the full-blown disorder. In contrast to Obama, those with Asperger's get fixated on some behavior, like programming computers. Obama lacks this kind of passion and zeal.

--Mental Illness: Obama's family tree is replete with the unbalanced. His maternal great-grandmother committed suicide. His grandfather, Stanley Dunham, was particularly unhinged: He was expelled from high school for punching his principal; named his daughter Stanley because he wanted a boy; and exposed young Barry to not just drunken trash talk, but unrestricted visits with alleged pedophile Frank Marshall Davis (who might or might not be Obama's biological father). Barack Sr. was an abusive, alcoholic bigamist. Since mental illness runs in the family, does Obama have any signs? Yes and no. No, he is not a schizophrenic babbling about Martians. But there are red flags for some other conditions.

(The apple didn't fall to far from the tree did it? I think obama has a split personality disorder. Obama is freaky. It is even more freaky that he was elected and has the power of the presidency. While Obama doesn't appear to hallucinate, he seems to have delusions. His believing he has a Messiah-like special gift smacks of grandiose delusions. His externalizing all blame to conservatives, George W. Bush, or the "racist" bogeyman hints at persecutory delusions.

"I don't find Canadians particularly scary, but I guess some of the opponents of reform think that they make a good boogeyman," the president said at a press conference with Mexican President Felipe Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Along with a delusional disorder, Obama may fit for a mild psychotic disorder called schizotypal disorder. It may explain some of Obama's oddness.

People with schizotypal disorder hold bizarre beliefs, are suspicious and paranoid, and have inappropriate and constricted affect. They have few close friends and are socially awkward. A schizotypal is someone like your strange cousin Becky who is addicted to astrology, believes she is psychic, and is the oddball at social gatherings.

Schizotypal Disorder does ring some bells vis-à-vis Obama. One way the diagnosis doesn't fit, however, is that schizotypals are generally harmless, odd ducks. Not so with Obama.

--Trauma: My gut tells me that Obama was seriously traumatized in childhood. His mother disregarded his basic needs, dragged him all over the place, and ultimately abandoned him.

But I think there may be something even more insidious in his family background. While I can't prove it, the degree of Obama's disconnect reminds me of my sexually abused clients.

With serious sexual abuse, the brain chemistry may change. The child dissociates -- that is, disconnects from his being -- in order to cope. Many adult survivors still dissociate, from occasional trances to the most extreme cases of multiple personality disorder.

Apparently, young Barry was left in the care of Communist Frank Marshall Davis, who admitted to molesting a 13-year-old girl. As a teenager, Obama wrote a disturbing poem, "Pop," that evoked images of sexual abuse -- for instance, describing dual amber stains on both his and "Pop's" shorts.

(I remember reading this crap also. It did sound sick. Obama is odd. He does seem lean/lite in the loafers in more than one way. Obama defends and admires what I call perversion.) Story Report

Would trauma explain Obama's disconnect? In many ways, yes. A damaged and unattached child may develop a "false self." To compensate for the enormous deficits in identity and attachment, the child invents his own personality. For Obama, it may have been as a special, gifted person.

(She has hit the nail on the head with this one. Obama lives in his own fantasy world where he wants to control everything. Obama is like a freak mr rogers who has a mental illness. Obama believes he is a "special gifted person". This invented trait must be performed on a stage. His stage props, the telepromter and blackberry, help him live the lie that he is competent and can accomplish what he speaks. We all know obama is a total failure. His "neighbor hood" is America.) Let's return now to my original question: What is wrong with Obama? My guess is a great deal. The answer is complex and likely includes some combination of the above.

Along with the brain issues are personality disorders: narcissism, paranoia, passive-aggressiveness. There's even the possibility of the most destructive character defect of all, an antisocial personality. Untreated abuse can foster antisocial traits, especially among boys.

If my assessment is accurate, what does this mean?

It means that liberals need to wake up and spit out the Kool-Aid...and that conservatives should put aside differences, band together, and elect as many Republicans as possible.

Because Obama will not change. He will not learn from his mistakes. He will not grow and mature from on-the-job experience. In fact, over time, Obama will likely become a more ferocious version of who he is today.

Such individuals who lack ulterior motive have traditionally been referred to in layman's terms simply as a variation of a pyromaniac. Most such maniacs lack conscious motivation although they are fully aware of the acts they are failing to stop or they themselves are committing. Typically they will feel intense pleasure, gratification, or relief when causing destruction or when witnessing or participating in the aftermath. Motivation is also classified as pathological and non-pathological. Some research suggests that feeling such joy at horrific situation is pathological. Other research suggests that some motivation for this comes from rational thought. It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK. That's not leadership. That's not going to happen.

We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.

We have now just enshrined, as soon as I sign this bill, the core principle that everybody should have some basic security when it comes to their healthcare.

Enshrine: 1. To enclose in or as if in a shrine. 2. To cherish as sacred.

(Obama speaks as if just because he signs this bill it will forever be enshrined into law and cannot ever be changed. This man is sick and mentally ill as I have said. This is more proof.)

We have real enemies in the world. These enemies must be found. They must be pursued and they must be defeated.

(The world includes his American enemys that don't agree with him or oppose him. He is saying he will pursue us and defeate us all that oppose him. This is crazy scary.)

We need somebody who's got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what it's like to be a young teenage mom, the empathy to understand what it's like to be poor or African-American or gay or disabled or old - and that's the criterion by which I'll be selecting my judges.

(What about the law barack? Are you saying you want a judge to rule in favor of an african American just because they are african American or gay or disabled or old? What about the rest of America?)

We need to internalize this idea of excellence. Not many folks spend a lot of time trying to be excellent.

(Hell he must think he is excellent. He is an excellent failure. He spends a lot of time trying to be an excellent failure and is internalizing the idea. How sick is this satement also. Put obama in a straight jacket.)

We need to steer clear of this poverty of ambition, where people want to drive fancy cars and wear nice clothes and live in nice apartments but don't want to work hard to accomplish these things. Everyone should try to realize their full potential.

(Wow this a good one to analyze. Obama says to be ambitious is to be in poverty. He makes a statement of just the opposite of what people actually do. They work hard to accomplish the goals or having nice cars, clothes and nice apartments. To accomplish this one must work hard. Obama says to have ambition is to be in poverty. This is CRAZY!. Then he says people should work hard to accomplish their goals of having nice things and realize their full potential. What I worry about would be that you essentially have two chambers, the House and the Senate, but you have simply, majoritarian, absolute power on either side. And that's just not what the founders intended.

(Obama is worried about the fact the founders included in the US Constitution two chambers a house and senate. He is worried about absolute power on either side. He is saying he is worried about a balance of power as the founding fathers intended. Obama doesn't want a balance of power he wants ABSOLUTE power in both chanbers as he has now and nothing else. Obama is worried about not being in absolute power. This is scary. It sounds like a time may come when he would do anything to stay in power. He is a sick man and truly mentally ill.)

What Washington needs is adult supervision.

(He considers himself an adult that is needed to supervise Americans that are children. Obama himself is a man-child, as Rush calls him. Obama needs the adult supervision of Americans and will get this supervision in Nov 2010 when he will be told to go stand in the corner and be quiet.)

You know, my faith is one that admits some doubt.
