What does the term "moving forward" mean to you?

Some times the term moving forward means to ignore the past and change just for change sake.

To me this makes NO sense. If you change they way you do something or think it should be for a valid reason and NOT just because change is a knee jerk reaction to the term "moving forward".

The term "moving forward" is a catchall term for politically correct ears.

Here are some examples:

Quote, "Don't dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on what to do next. Spend your energies on moving forward toward finding the answer."

What sense does it make to ignore what went wrong? If you just "focus" on what to do next, "moving forward" to "find the answer" without thinking about what went wrong, ie thinking without thinking this is another meaning for the term "moving forward".

Quote, "Looking back isn't going to help you. Moving forward is the thing you have to do."

If you ignore the past, history, you will repeat the same mistakes if mistakes were make. Learning from the past is of course NOT always learning past mistakes. History contains example after example of NON mistakes that have been made. (Unless you are reading history that has been rewritten and the truth erased.)
People can and should "look back" to the past and learn from what has happened. Don't ignore the past and only think in PC terms such as "moving forward" only.

The above quote is an excellent example of how politically correct NON thinking people feed on.

Here is the PC term again "move forward". This term as you can see can and does mean differnet things such as "never doubt anything". This is the same as saying "believe everything you hear without question". Just keep "moving forward" until you fall into a ditch because you are a simple minded person that just goes along to get along etc.

Keep "moving forward" if you make a mistake without thinking of why you keep making mistakes. This is how an IDIOT thinks and is another use of the term "moving forward".

A witness for Christ made a difference to someone.

I heard a story about a teenage girl who knew a homosexual "couple" that lived down the street. The teen was told that they were not committing sin. The Teenage girl then went home and looked up as many bible verse as she could about what God says in the Bible about homosexuality and sodomy. She brought these verse back to the homosexual "couple". They moved not long after. About 6 years later she got a phone call from her former neighbor. He told her because she had pointed out in the Bible that God considers homosexuality and sodomy a sin he later repented of his sin and ask Jesus to save him.

My point is the Word Of God worked in this man's heart because the teenage girl witnessed to him. God can save the homosexual from his sin and make him a new creature in Christ.

Pc news stories are for the simple thinking man. The simple thinking man does not take time to check the evidence of what he hears etc.

The US Supreme Court has made many unconstitutional rulings in the past and will in the future.

Let me refresh your memory about a famous "supremes" ruling in 1857.

The federal government supreme court ruled the following:

In 1857 the U.S. Supreme Court delivered its infamous Dred Scott decision. The court ruled, in essence, that a slave was not a citizen, or even a person, and that slaves were “so far inferior that they [have] no rights which the white man [is] bound to respect.”

Our US governmet ruled that certain persons living in the US were not US citizens, even if they were born on US soil, were not even a human being and had no rights because they were black instead of white.

This included all blacks in the northern slave states also.

Yes thats right, the north had slave states also. Congress made a deal about "slave states".

One could also say the the American flag represented slavery also because of this.

Of course the US flag represents freedom to most people.

As Dylann Roof was arraigned in Charleston today, community members began to sing in support of the families inside speaking to the judge, and MSNBC reporter Thomas Roberts was so moved he could hardly report it.

Relatives of some of the people gunned down at a historic black church in Charleston faced the accused gunman in an emotionally wrenching court hearing Friday — and told him they forgive him.

"I would just like him to know that ... I forgive you, my family forgives you," Anthony Thompson said during a bond hearing for the suspect, Dylann Roof. Myra Thompson, 59, was one of nine people killed in the horrific attack at Emanuel African Episcopal Church on Wednesday.

"We would like you to take this opportunity to repent. Repent. Confess. Give your life to the one who matters the most: Christ. So that he can change it," Anthony Thompson told the accused gunman as he appeared via video link at jail.

While outside, in the streets, community members gathered together and began to sing. The scene was altogether too much for Roberts, who was visibly moved and at times unable to continue with his report.

Just six days after the deadly Charleston Church shooting at Mother Emanuel in downtown Charleston, protesters from out of town attempted to disturb the respectful scene at the church on Tuesday night. (June 23)

Those at the memorial responded to the group's protest, in a positive way.

Protesters showed up to the memorial with megaphones chanting "arm yourself or harm yourself," and "never forget, never forgive." They marched from Marion Square to Mother Emanuel and they interrupted people paying respects at the mass shooting site.

Memorial attendees said the protesters were disrespecting the church and cursing in front of the church. One person said, "they're very much going about it the wrong way, we had peace here in Charleston, everyone is coming together in love and unity... they need to leave our city."

Even younger people present at the Memorial said it's not necessary... "They gotta calm down because you supposed to forgive in the Bible but you not supposed to forget ok, remember that."

Someone added "they're gonna go home eventually because love beats anything."

When the protesters interrupted those at the Memorial paying their respects to the nine victims, the crowd started singing the protesters away. They began singing "We shall overcome" and the protesters eventually walked away from the church.

It is important to realize that no matter how much one's good works outweigh the bad, they will still be cast into the lake of Fire if their name isn't found written in the Lamb's Book of Life. This is why Jesus sternly warned in John 3:3, “Ye must be born again.”

First of all, this flag is NOT the "Confederate Flag." It is the "Battle Flag of Northern Virginia." This design, however, is the one most synonymous with the term, and the one used in various forms on many of the other flags that were flown by the Confederate States. It is also the one most hated by those who are completely and totally ignorant of what it stands for.

So take another look at the flag and answer this very simple question : Do you see a big letter "X" anywhere on the flag? What if I were to lay that X down on its side like this? : Do you see it now? The X is formed by the big, blue bands which are outlined with white trim.

Now take another look at the flag. On this big "X" there are thirteen white stars. See them? Do you know what these thirteen stars represent? They represent the thirteen original, united colonies from which the United States began. Each one of these colonies had its own system of self government... until the start of 'northern aggression' when the northern states began trying to usurp authority over the southern states. This was the main cause of the Civil War.

Point of fact : The thirteen stars on this flag appear to lie on the blue X... but in reality, the X lies on the stars, allowing them to shine through.

Now, a simple question : Do you remember from your grade-school years how the teachers would sometimes ask you to circle the right answers or picture on a work page, or to put an X on a picture or word or other item that didn't belong in a group? That is the same concept this flag is designed around; the stars are laid out in the pattern of an X, and the blue bands are put on the thirteen stars to show that the southern states no longer wanted to be a part of the union with the northern states. June 13, 2015 -- On Friday, the House of Representatives voted down a trade-related provision effectively halting a major trade package, the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), that would grant President Obama broad authority to negotiate and finalize trade agreements with Pacific Rim countries and the European Union.

Representatives voted 126-302 against a section of the bill, the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA), that would grant financial assistance to workers displaced by trade. The provision, which was included in the Senate version the bill, H.R. 1314, and passed on May 22, 2015, must pass before the full trade bill can go to the president for his signature.

The House is expected to reconsider the TAA early next week.

Industries supporting the Senate-passed version of H.R. 1314 have given 8.6 times more money ($197.9M) to current members of the House of Representatives compared to industries opposing the bill ($23.1M).

A log inside the secret room is kept listing any members who go read the TPP text, but Breitbart News can confirm that the log listing the senators who have actually read what they’re about to vote on is also kept secret from the public. That means Americans have no way of knowing—outside of their members of Congress confirming publicly they’ve visited the room to read the TPP text—whether their members of Congress have any clue what it is they are voting on.

Congress is being so secretive about Obamatrade that Congressional authorities are not only keeping the text of President Barack Obama’s various trade deals secret, they’re also keeping the log that lists which members of Congress went to go read the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) private as well.

Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), which the House may vote on by the end of this week or perhaps early next week, would fast-track the approval of the TPP and at least two other international trade agreements that President Obama’s administration is working on. Those are the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA) with 24 separate parties, mostly other countries but also including the European Union, and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP) deal.

A vote in favor of TPA, which gives the president fast-track authority, is essentially a vote for the TPP and the other two deals because in the past 40 years no trade agreement that received fast track authority has ever been stopped by Congress.


Sen Jeff Sessions on TPA Fight

Senator Jeff Sessions explained why the TPA, which would make the controversial Trans-Pacific Partnership possible, is bad for the United States and its sovereignty.

“It creates an international commission,” he said. “It has all the earmarks of how the European Union got started. The Sultan of Brunei gets the same vote as the president of the United States. And they could pass a lot of things which could bind Americans in all kinds of different ways. And, fundamentally, we don’t have any control over them. We can’t vote out the Sultan of Brunei. So this is a diminishment of the individual citizens’ power. It is a transfer to this president, and to an international organization that we have no reason to believe will serve our interests.”

Thus, with an aggressive whipping effort in the U.S. House by the Republican leadership, Sessions suggested that tomorrow would be the day people would have to get involved and get in touch with their member of Congress to urge them to vote “no” on the TPA since a vote could be looming as early as Friday.

Congress will not finalize the bill until AFTER it is passed. This means ANYTHING can be changed later. This is pure evil and must be stopped!
