Treasury Employs Extraordinary Measures to Spend Beyond Debt Limit
Treasury Employs Extraordinary Measures to Spend Beyond Debt Limit
After hitting the debt limit on March 19, the Treasury Department under Secretary Jack Lew is now employing its toolset of “extraordinary measures” to continue deficit spending without legally breaching the debt limit.
It will provide about $260 billion in borrowing capacity, which should last beyond at least Labor Day, according to a letter from Secretary Lew.
These cash-management measures really aren’t extraordinary anymore; they have become a common occurrence in Washington. After hitting the debt limit in 2011, Treasury employed its extraordinary measures to create about $240 billion in additional borrowing capacity from May 16 through August 1. It tapped into the measures again just this January for $60 billion.
Below-normal revenue levels during the economic recession and $830 billion in stimulus spending drove deficits to trillion-dollar levels over the past four years and drove the debt up against its legal limit. But revenues are projected to exceed normal levels over the next decade. If lawmakers neglect to deal with the three major entitlement programs, they will drive the debt ever higher. Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid already make up 45 percent of the budget, and they are growing at a rapid pace as the number of beneficiaries and associated costs keep going up.

Interesting and innovative uses for honey a natural pure substance

'Super honey': A new type of honey has produced amazing results treating wounds and infections
Doctors discover 'super honey' with amazing power to treat soldiers' wounds and kill superbug infections
A new honey has been produced that has had ‘amazing’ results treating wounds and infections.
The bio-engineered product Surgihoney was tested on babies, new mothers, cancer patients and the elderly for over a year in Hampshire hospitals.
Wounds and ulcers, including those infected with the superbug MRSA, healed within days, while the number of women who suffered infections after giving birth by caesarean section has halved.
It has also healed the wounds of soldiers returning from Afghanistan, and been used to treat acne and to protect the skin of cancer patients fitted with a catheter for chemotherapy.
Dr Matthew Dryden, consultant microbiologist at the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: ‘It will revolutionise wound care around the world.’
Honey has been used for its healing powers for thousands of years, although doctors favour penicillin and antibiotics.
However, Surgihoney, which is stored in 10g sachets, can kill bacteria, parasites and fungal infections while also encouraging wounds to heal.
Dr Dryden said: ‘I have conducted numerous laboratory tests and compared it with honeys from around the world.
‘I found Surgihoney better for treating every type of bug. So for the past year I have been using it on patients and the results have been amazing.

Interesting and innovative uses for honey:
Antibacterial Solution –› Bacteria and germs won’t survive when covered in honey, given its acidic pH balance and viscous base. The microorganisms will be trapped in the sticky acidic base, which is too abrasive for their exteriors, eventually killing them off. Apply honey on a wound, scratch, or an inflamed region, along with an antiseptic. You’ll be astounded at how fast your injury heals after your honey treatment.
Antiseptic –› Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical used for cleaning wounds and helping them heal quickly. Honey happens to contain a good amount of the chemical. It only needs to be released by diluting the substance in water or body fluids. When applied on an open wound, the glucose, contained by honey, is diluted and gradually releases hydrogen peroxide. The substance facilitates your wound’s faster healing. Due to its viscous consistency, it also prevents wounds from sticking to the dressing and reduces the appearance of scars.
Blood Flow Improver –› Honey, rich in glucose, is known to improve the blood flow. Glucose provides energy in the bloodstream, which is distributed throughout the body. As a result, the blood produced has the proper consistency, flowing smoothly through the blood vessels. Glucose is believed to prevent capillary damage due to its ability to improve your blood flow.
Burn Remedy –› A burn is not only painful, but the marks also last for a good number of days before healing. By applying honey on your burn, the hydrogen peroxide released cleans the wound and soothes the inflammation. As a result, the burn marks will heal in a few days with less pain. Also use honey as a dressing and cover with a clean gauze bandage for maximum results.
Cancer and Heart Disease Prevention –› Heart disease and cancer are diseases that have claimed the lives of millions of people. Both conditions have a multitude of causes, some of which are hard to identify. You must have some sort of protection from these diseases. That protection can come in the form of honey. Honey’s antioxidants prevent the formation of cancer cells and preserve the quality of the produced blood. This prevents heart disease in the process. However, engaging in acts that promote cancer, such as smoking and excessive drinking, will still trigger the diseases. So, remain aware of what you choose to do to your body.
Colon Damage Prevention –› Colitis, a disease that damages the colon, induces much discomfort for the afflicted. You can minimize the effects of the disease if you consume some honey every day. The antioxidants found in honey strengthen and improve the resistance of the colon. In addition, honey is used in folk medicine as a means for curing colon-related conditions.
Diabetic Ulcer Remedy –› Curing a skin ulcer entirely is done largely by modern medical techniques. Fortunately, you can help speed up the healing process by using honey as a topical solution. Its ability to heal wounds will come in handy when a patient is advised to avoid other ointments.
Dry Elbow Softener –› You probably are aware that scratchy elbows can ruin your day. Next time, after you've washed and scrubbed, rub some honey on scratchy areas to soften the skin. Leave the honey on for 30 minutes then wash off. Repeat any time you need to soften dry and scratchy skin.
Energy Booster –› There is no need to buy palpitation-inducing energy drinks when you already have honey. Mix honey with some water then drink the solution. Honey’s glucose content will be absorbed by the brain and in the bloodstream, reducing fatigue in the process. You’ll keep healthy and be quite happy just by consuming the simple solution.
Facial Scrub –› Soften your skin with honey. It is excellent for skin exfoliation. Mix in some ground almonds and lemon juice to create a killer homemade facial scrub.
Fruit Preserver –› Your grandmother made Jam. Today you can show you're truly cutting edge by preserving your fruits in a honey sauce. Mix one part honey to ten parts water and cover your berries or sliced fruit. The Honey acts as both a natural preservative and sweetener.
Hair Conditioner –› In the shower, after you wash your hair, coat the ends with a bit of honey. Let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing out and you'll find that your hair is less frizzy and extra conditioned. Or, make your hair shiny and bright by adding one teaspoon honey to one quart of water. After washing your hair, pour the mixture over your head. Let dry and enjoy your new-found shiny 'do. Immune System Booster – Health buffs are known to drink a teaspoon of honey daily, along with their morning vitamins. Although still not scientifically proven, the daily consumption of honey is said to strengthen your immune system. Give it a shot; you’ve got nothing to lose.
Lip Balm –› Mix almond oil, beeswax, and honey to a consistency you prefer. Smear your 100% natural creation on your lips, and enjoy the benefits of its sun protection and moisturizing coolness.
Parasite Remover –› Honey, when mixed with vinegar and water, can remove worms and other parasites from your body. The combination of vinegar’s acidity and honey’s therapeutic components is more than enough to kill or expel bodily intruders. When you suspect that you have worms in your body, drink ample amounts of the solution regularly.
Relaxant for Anxiety and Nervousness –› Anxiety and nervousness are the enemies of a healthy mind. Free yourself from their negative effects by eating porridge mixed with honey. Honey’s nutrients produce a calming effect, especially when taken in significant amounts. You also can mix honey with a suitable beverage for a good night’s sleep.
Skin Moisturizer –› Honey, when mixed with eggs and some flour, is an effective skin moisturizer. Best of all, it is gently formulated, so people with sensitive skin can use it. Mix four tablespoons of honey with a couple of egg whites and a few tablespoons of flour, depending on your desired consistency. Stir the mixture until it thickens. When the mixture is ready, use it as a hand and body lotion or a moisturizing face mask, eliminating the effects of dry skin. If you like, add your favorite scent to your personal 100% natural skin care product, such as lavender oil.
Sore Throat Treatment –› Some people believe that honey is an even better treatment for coughs and colds than over-the-counter medicine. To create the sore throat-relieving serum, squeeze the juice from a lemon and mix it with some honey. Stir the mixture until both ingredients blend. Drink the solution. After a few moments, you will realize that your sore throat has been cured, or at least reduced. Continue the treatment every day until you finally are free from colds.
Sugar Substitute –› Use honey instead of sugar in baking. For every cup of sugar a recipe calls for, replace it with 3/4 cup of honey. For best results, add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and reduce another liquid in your recipe by 1/4 cup. Also, reduce the oven temperature by 25 degrees.
Tub Water Softener –› Relax your body and soak your skin in a soothing bath. Put 2 tablespoons of honey in 1 cup of hot water and let it dissolve for about 10 minutes, then add to your bath. This will give you sweeter smelling, softer feeling water. As an extra special treat to yourself, add 2-3 drops of lavender essential oil to the water, slip in, and relax. Some call it "pure bliss."
Vitamin A Enhancement –› Vitamin A is the nutrient that fosters better eyesight, especially when consumed in significant quantities. If you mix items that are rich in Vitamin A with honey, the effects are slightly increased.
Zit Zapper –› Honey might be a gentle skin moisturizer, but it’s tough on acne. With constant exposure to honey enzymes, pimples eventually wither and fade. Apply a small amount of honey on the pimply regions of your face before you go to bed. Cover the area with adhesive bandages. Let the honey work its magic as you sleep. Soon, your zit attack will be nothing more than a distant memory.

Kel-Tec KSG Shotgun: 15-Round (14+1) Bullpup Pump-Action 12-Gauge Combat Shotgun for Urban Tactical Operations and Applications
The KSG can hold 7-rounds per tube, and the mag feed switch procedure is made via a manual lever located behind the trigger guard, rather than by an automatic mechanism. Once one tube mag goes empty, you’ve got to manually switch over to the second one. The KSG’s pump action is cycled in the traditional manner.
On the KSG, Kel-Tec positioned the dual-tube magazine below the barrel, which allows the KSG to offer an almost full-length Mil-Std-1913 “Picatinny” top rail system for mounting front and rear BUIS (Back Up Iron Sights); combat optics, including standard optical sights. The KSG also features a picatinny bottom rail for mounting a vertical foregrip.
This is no ordinary pump shotgun. The first thing you notice, of course, is the twin tube magazines. Next, is the bullpup configuration. Holding it fully loaded (7+7+1 rounds) out at arm’s length, like a typical pump, would be quite a challenge. But the bullpup design puts the center of gravity at about the position of the pistol grip and lets you support the weight close to your body. It loads and ejects through the bottom, behind the pistol grip. Recoil, it’s not as soft as a U/O ported skeet gun, but no harder than a typical 12 gauge pump or auto.

(This is a cool shotgun but I think the SRM 2016 is better. It holds 16 rounds and is automatic.) Story Reports

Obama wants to know if you own a gun and how many

Obamacare
Gun Provision Int Obamacare Legislation
.....................
State Rep: Surrender Your Guns For Obamacare? Or surrender information about your guns?
Paul Joseph Watson
Montana lawmaker Krayton Kerns warns that President Obama’s recent executive orders on gun control could lead to a chilling future scenario where Americans are forced to hand in their firearms in order to receive critical hospital treatment under Obamacare.
Republican Kerns, sponsor of a recently passed bill that prohibits “a healthcare provider from refusing or conditioning care if a person refuses to provide information relating to firearm ownership, possession or use,” blogs about his personal experience of ammunition shortages in gun stores before warning that his legislation could represent, “the single act which stands between your fundamental right to keep and bear arms and their confiscation.”
“On January 16, 2013, President Obama released 23 “Gun Violence Reduction Executive Actions” of which Action #2, #14, #16, #17, #21, and #22 utilize the national healthcare system to collect gun ownership information. As Obamacare grows over the next decade, unwary citizens will voluntarily divulge firearm ownership information including serial numbers in exchange for routine healthcare. Through the power of incrementalism, placing this information in a federal database seems harmless at first,” writes Kerns.
Obama’s executive order number 16, passed in the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre, clarifies, “that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes,” seemingly contradicting the provision in the Obamacare law.
Obama: Doctors Should Ask About Guns in Homes
Jim Meyers
Order 16, for example, might raise serious concerns with privacy advocates. The order, as summarized, states federal agencies will “clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.”
In addition, a fact sheet provided by the White House with the order list elaborates: “Clarify that no federal law prevents health care providers from warning law enforcement authorities about threats of violence.”
..................
(Obama executive order 16 nullifies the provision in obamacare that prohibites doctors from asking you if you own guns!
Obama says:
“Doctors and other health care providers also need to be able to ask about firearms in their patients’ homes and safe storage of those firearms, especially if their patients show signs of certain mental illnesses or if they have a young child or mentally ill family member at home. Some have incorrectly claimed that language in the Affordable Care Act prohibits doctors from asking their patients about guns and gun safety. Medical groups also continue to fight against state laws attempting to ban doctors from asking these questions.
“The Administration will issue guidance clarifying that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit or otherwise regulate communication between doctors and patients, including about firearms.”
(Obama is a liar. The obamacare unconstitutional law as you can see at the top of this blog does exempt doctors from asking you if you own guns. Obama through executive orders has reversed this. Obama wants to know if you own a gun and how many. He will use any "health care" provider to get this information from you so it we be in a central database for later use to confiscate you guns! Obama wants to disarm you and make you a gun free zone. Criminals like obama want to make sure you are defenseless!) Story Reports

The Battle Flag Of Northern Virgina Sends One Message (CROSS US OUT of your Union!)

..................
Battle Flag Of Northern Virginia Information
..................
Battle Flag Of Northern Virginia
What do you think of when you see the flag above? What message do you think it sends?
Racism? Slavery? Hatred? White supremacy?
Something worse?
Now, what do you see when you look at the flag? What is actually on the flag?
The color Red? White? Blue? Thirteen stars?
Is that all? See anything else?
Look closer and take some time to actually think about what you are seeing. Examine every detail of the flag and it's design, because the layout of the contents of this flag actually portrays the true message the flag is sending.
And for the record... neither the design nor the content have anything to do with racism, slavery, hatred or white supremacy... or anything worse!
All the COLOR could be removed from this flag, leaving just the outline of the details, and the true message the design is sending could still be determined by anyone with a basic knowledge of history and an ounce of common sense.
First of all, this flag is NOT the "Confederate Flag." It is the "Battle Flag of Northern Virginia." This design, however, is the one most synonymous with the term, and the one used in various forms on many of the other flags that were flown by the Confederate States. It is also the one most hated by those who are completely and totally ignorant of what it stands for.
So take another look at the flag and answer this very simple question : Do you see a big letter "X" anywhere on the flag? What if I were to lay that X down on its side like this? : Do you see it now? The X is formed by the big, blue bands which are outlined with white trim.
Now take another look at the flag. On this big "X" there are thirteen white stars. See them? Do you know what these thirteen stars represent? They represent the thirteen original, united colonies from which the United States began. Each one of these colonies had its own system of self government... until the start of 'northern aggression' when the northern states began trying to usurp authority over the southern states. This was the main cause of the Civil War.
Point of fact : The thirteen stars on this flag appear to lie on the blue X... but in reality, the X lies on the stars, allowing them to shine through.
Now, a simple question : Do you remember from your grade-school years how the teachers would sometimes ask you to circle the right answers or picture on a work page, or to put an X on a picture or word or other item that didn't belong in a group? That is the same concept this flag is designed around; the stars are laid out in the pattern of an X, and the blue bands are put on the thirteen stars to show that the southern states no longer wanted to be a part of the union with the northern states. In simpler terms, the message of flag's design is simply this... CROSS US OUT of your Union! The southern states withdrew from the union in a movement called "secession," which led to the Civil War.
That is the only message this flag is sending!
That is all there is to it!
It is just that simple!
If this flag actually represented slavery, hatred, white supremacy, or something worse, as so many biased and uneducated people so foolishly believe, then it's design would reflect that by incorporating images of those whom it stood against, and there would be a big X on their images.
But that is NOT what is on this flag!
And that is NOT the message this flag sends!
This flag is NOT racist! NEVER has been! NEVER will be!
And as I stated earlier, all that people need to have to be able to see and understand this obvious truth is a basic knowledge of history and an ounce of common sense!
.................
(Some people use misinformation for their various deceptive purposes. Liars like obama, sharpton, jackson etc use misinformation about the battle flag of Virgina for racist purposes. Ignorant people are not aware of the true facts and therefore believe racists like obama, sharpton, jackson etc. Remember the truth can be stranger than fiction to ignorant people who believe anything they hear.) The obama regime is faking almost everything including possible terrorist attacks

..........................
Global terror alert inconsistent with U.S. portrayal of weakened al Qaida
Hannah Allam and Lesley Clark
The Obama administration’s sweeping response to an alleged al Qaida plot – closing diplomatic posts in parts of Africa, the Middle East and Asia – suggests a terrorist organization that’s capable of striking virtually anywhere, not the one U.S. officials have depicted as a group that’s near defeat.
Counterterrorism analysts said Monday that the U.S. government’s global response to a threat emanating from Yemen, home to al Qaida’s most active affiliate, was at odds with how dismissive President Barack Obama was in a speech in May, when he said that “not every collection of thugs that labels themselves as al Qaida will pose a credible threat to the United States.”
That was only one of a series of public statements by Obama and his Cabinet members that played down the capabilities of al Qaida-linked groups. For at least the past two years, the administration has sought to reassure Americans that al Qaida is “on the run,” while counterterrorism experts were warning about the semiautonomous affiliates that have wreaked havoc in North Africa, Yemen, Iraq and Syria.
“The actions the administration is taking now are deeply inconsistent with the portrait of al Qaida strength the administration has been painting,” said Daveed Gartenstein-Ross, a counterterrorism specialist at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a Washington research institute.
.......................
(My take is that the obama regime is faking almost everything including possible terrorist attacks. Obama and his group of fellow criminals lie about everything under the sun. The lie and tell you there is nothing to worry about because alQaida is on the run then they tell you there is a big threat worldwide.
If there is a "big threat of terrorism" worldwide it is because the obama regime has created the possibility. The obama regime lied about what happened in benghazi. Why wouldn't they lie about everything else? Obama is a criminal fraud who cannot validate his own US citizenship. The fake PDF file he presented to the world was doctored/faked as experts have testified.
They very real "terrorist" threat is the obama regime.) Story Reports

Obama regime efforts currently underway to purge al-Qaida affiliates from the ranks of the Syrian rebels is creating another crisis
U.S. facing al-Qaida payback strike?
..................
Aaron Klein
The current al-Qaida terrorist plot against U.S. and Western targets is a direct result of U.S.-supported efforts currently underway to purge al-Qaida affiliates from the ranks of the Syrian rebels, according to informed Middle Eastern security sources.
The sources have specific knowledge of the terrorist threat that has prompted a worldwide travel alert and the closure of 22 U.S. embassies.
Those sources said the U.S. has been working with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf states to support a U.S.-armed Free Syria Army effort to cleanse al-Qaida affiliates from among the rebel ranks, including al-Nusra and other groups.
For months now the U.S. has reportedly been providing lethal support to the Syrian rebels amid widespread fears the Western weapons could fall into the hands of al-Qaida organizations known to work alongside the Free Syria Army.
Now with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad closing in on the insurgency targeting his regime, U.S. allies in the Gulf and throughout the Middle East are deeply concerned the freshly armed al-Qaida groups could turn their efforts from Assad to destabilizing the moderate Arab regimes.
To that affect, according to the Middle Eastern security sources, the U.S. has been heavily aiding the Free Syrian Army in its efforts to disarm or eliminate the al-Qaida groups fighting as Syrian rebels.
The Middle Eastern security sources said the current al-Qaida plot is an attempt to dissuade the U.S. from further supporting those disarming efforts.
(Obama and his regime want al-Qaida to attack. Obama needs a crisis to divert attention from the IRS, gun running, and NSA snooping scandals that have the potential to remove him from office as a criminal/traitor. If you have home automation devices connected to the internet you better read this article.
Shodan search engine
David Goldman
Shodan: The scariest search engine on the Internet
Hacking anything connected to the Internet
Unlike Google , which crawls the Web looking for websites, Shodan navigates the Internet's back channels. It's a kind of "dark" Google, looking for the servers, webcams, printers, routers and all the other stuff that is connected to and makes up the Internet.
Shodan runs 24/7 and collects information on about 500 million connected devices and services each month.
It's stunning what can be found with a simple search on Shodan. Countless traffic lights, security cameras, home automation devices and heating systems are connected to the Internet and easy to spot.
Shodan searchers have found control systems for a water park, a gas station, a hotel wine cooler and a crematorium. Cybersecurity researchers have even located command and control systems for nuclear power plants and a particle-accelerating cyclotron by using Shodan.
What's really noteworthy about Shodan's ability to find all of this -- and what makes Shodan so scary -- is that very few of those devices have any kind of security built into them.
"It's a massive security failure," said HD Moore, chief security officer of Rapid 7, who operates a private version of a Shodan-like database for his own research purposes.
Hackers take aim at key U.S. infrastructure
A quick search for "default password" reveals countless printers, servers and system control devices that use "admin" as their user name and "1234" as their password. Many more connected systems require no credentials at all -- all you need is a Web browser to connect to them.
In a talk given at last year's Defcon cybersecurity conference, independent security penetration tester Dan Tentler demonstrated how he used Shodan to find control systems for evaporative coolers, pressurized water heaters, and garage doors.
He found a car wash that could be turned on and off and a hockey rink in Denmark that could be defrosted with a click of a button. A city's entire traffic control system was connected to the Internet and could be put into "test mode" with a single command entry. And he also found a control system for a hydroelectric plant in France with two turbines generating 3 megawatts each.
Scary stuff, if it got into the wrong hands.
"You could really do some serious damage with this," Tentler said, in an understatement.
So why are all these devices connected with few safeguards? Some things that are designed to be connected to the Internet, such as door locks that can be controlled with your iPhone, are generally believed to be hard to find. Security is an afterthought.
If you're using 'Password1,' change it. Now.
A bigger issue is that many of these devices shouldn't even be online at all. Companies will often buy systems that can enable them to control, say, a heating system with a computer. How do they connect the computer to the heating system? Rather than connect them directly, many IT departments just plug them both into a Web server, inadvertently sharing them with the rest of the world.
"Of course there's no security on these things," said Matherly, "They don't belong on the Internet in the first place."
The good news is that Shodan is almost exclusively used for good.
Matherly, who completed Shodan more than three years ago as a pet project, has limited searches to just 10 results without an account, and 50 with an account. If you want to see everything Shodan has to offer, Matherly requires more information about what you're hoping to achieve -- and a payment.
Penetration testers, security professionals, academic researchers and law enforcement agencies are the primary users of Shodan. Bad actors may use it as a starting point, Matherly admits. But he added that cybercriminals typically have access to botnets -- large collections of infected computers -- that are able to achieve the same task without detection.
