A Neti Pot and Colloidal Silver VS obamacare

Herbalist Steven Frank

A New Direction for Neti Pots

Used for centuries in Asian cultures to support nasal health and eliminate toxins from the nasal mucosa, neti pots have recently become popular in the Western world and are recognized for their value in preventing and relieving sinus infections. Typically, a mild solution of unrefined sea salt and purified or distilled water is poured from one nostril through the other to flush out unwanted mucus, bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms. Herbalist Steven Frank, of Nature’s Rite, points to a powerful new paradigm that helps neti pot users deal even more effectively with infection: a regimen of aqueous, colloidal silver and soothing herbal and plant extracts.

Frank recommends using the neti pot with a colloidal silver wash that is retained in the nostrils for several minutes. “Bacteria and fungus stick rather well to the nasal mucosa and few are flushed out with simple saline flushes,” he explains. “Most of these nasty pathogens adhere to the mucosa with what is called a biofilm. Within this slime layer, they are well protected and thrive in the warm moist sinuses, so a small saline bath once a day doesn’t bother them much. However, colloidal silver disables certain enzymes needed by anaerobic bacteria, viruses, yeasts and fungus, resulting in their destruction. And, unlike antibiotics, silver does not allow resistant ‘super bugs’ to develop.”

He also suggests soothing the sinuses with restorative herbal decoctions. Calendula, plantain and aloe contain vital nutrients that soothe and heal, while Echinacea root and grapefruit seed extract offer antimicrobial benefits.

Frank emphasizes the importance of using a neti pot safely and responsibly and warns against table salt, which can irritate nasal membranes, and tap water, which may contain contaminants.

Colloidal Silver Uses: A Natural Nasal Spray for Sinus Infection and Inflammation

Pure colloidal silver has a broad range of applications as an antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiviral. It is often a surprise for people who have tried every other means of conquering a difficult health problem like sinusitis to find that something this natural, simple and inexpensive can do more to help them than any pharmaceutical or other remedy they’ve tried.

This is often the case for people who suffer from sinus conditions like sinusitis, which produces symptoms that can range in severity from being simply uncomfortable to debilitating.

What is Sinusitis?

Sinusitis is a fancy word for sinus irritation or inflammation, which affects millions of people and costs millions more dollars in pharmaceuticals and downtime from work, annually. The symptoms mimic those of the common cold, except they don’t usually subside after just three to four days.

There are three categories of sinus problems:

Chronic, lasting several weeks, months or even years.

Acute, which is characterized by a sudden onset lasting several days or a few weeks.

Recurrent, which is typical of seasonal occurrences and may last a few days to a few weeks until the irritant or allergen dissipates from the environment.

The sinuses are passages which run inside the bones of your skull and are located around the eyes, forehead, ears, and near the jaw. When you encounter an irritant or allergen, you body produces mucus in these passages to protect them. If this mucous doesn’t drain properly, it leads to pressure and pain. The trapped mucous becomes a breeding ground for harmful pathogens leading to sinus infection.

Fortunately, colloidal silver is an excellent defense against these irritants and pathogens.

How to Treat Sinusitis Naturally, Inexpensively and Safely with Colloidal Silver

If you were to go to a conventional doctor, he would probably want to treat your sinusitis with sinus pills to dry the mucous in your sinus passages and, in the case of infection, he would prescribe antibiotics, which you would have to take for one or two weeks. These pharmaceuticals have unpleasant side effects and there are inherent dangers involved in taking pharmaceutical antibiotics, which involve your body becoming increasingly resistant and a host to mutant strains of bacteria.

Your doctor will probably not prescribe you anything to help with the actual cause of your sinus condition. According to a Mayo Clinic Study, cited in an article entitled, May Clinic Study Implicates Fungus as cause of Chronic Sinusitis,” at Science Daily, most cases of chronic sinusitis are caused by fungal infections.

Colloidal silver is a safe and effective all-natural antibiotic and anti-fungal, which can be used as a rinse for the sinuses. Pure colloidal silver in 10 to 15 ppm can also be taken orally as an antibiotic. Experts say when colloidal silver is made properly, using a colloidal silver generator specially calibrated to create 1 to 10 nanometer-sized silver particles, it is safe to use as directed, and has no known side effects.

To use colloidal silver orally, many experts recommend taking one or two tablespoons in the morning or evening. You can drink it undiluted or add it to water or juice.

The two most common methods of administering colloidal silver directly into the sinus passages involves spraying it or snorting it.

To use colloidal silver as a nasal spray, you will need a little bottle with a spray top. You can purchase 2-ounce amber bottles at many health food stores, which are ideal for this purpose. Carefully, pour pure colloidal silver into the clean bottle and cap it with the clean sprayer top. To avoid spilling you may want to use a small funnel.

To administer your colloidal silver nasal spray, cock your head to one side and spray the colloidal silver directly into each nostril.

To snort colloidal silver, insert a few drops into your nasal passages using a dropper bottle or inhale a few drops into your nostrils through a straw.

If you find either of these methods uncomfortable, you can add a couple of tablespoons of colloidal silver to a neti pot and gently bathe your sinus passages. This has the effect of soothing your sinuses and delivering the colloidal silver to the places where you most need it to go very quickly.

The idea is to get colloidal silver deep into your sinus passages where it can neutralize the infection-causing fungal or bacterial pathogens.

(This is what a neti pot does. It will get into all your sinus passages. A nasal spray will not.) Story Reports

Snort, spray or otherwise bathe your sinus passages with colloidal silver two or three times per day until your symptoms subside. This may take a few days or a week, depending on the severity of your condition.

Colloidal silver is a natural substance with a long history of use as healing agent. According to the experts, it has no known interactions with medications. The statements in this article have not been evaluated by the FDA or other government entity.

(Before you try this check with your doctor and see what he or she says about using this method. Don't ask obama-he doesn't know.) Story Reports
